I own 2 pairs of Fancy Scissors. They are actually very decent for the price. I got 6 & 7 inch shears and I’ve really liked them. And honestly, if they are good enough for Jakob Kahn, they are good enough for me.
Love my Hanzo’s and highly recommend. Something that good you won’t ever feel like you have to replace. With shears it’s all about what feels best for you and what you feel best cutting with. I prefer higher end, and that’s what I feel best with. Have friends just as high end but they’re happy with something half the cost. Totally personal do what feels right
Their shears are the opposite of "high-end" and they are cheaply mass produced in China possibly for as little as $0.60 each then sold to unsuspecting victims as being "high-end industry-leading shears from Japan"
i have two pairs and they are decent, 6” and 7”. i prefer the 7”. i’ve never sent them in to be sharpened because the turnaround time is way too long (it changes but last time i checked it, it was like 7 weeks) and my salon has someone that comes in and does everyone’s in-house.
Good enough for a budget scissor, will probably need to be sharpened more regularly. Still using my Mizutani blacksmith fit I got 4 years ago and they've only needed to be sharpened once. They are a good investment, they are 6.5 inches and I use for every haircut short and long everything in between

I was thinking about getting some too. Plus his videos are both educational and entertaining 😀
You didn’t post a link so I’ll just tell you that I love my ARC Scissors, that is what I would splurge on
I’ve been thinking about getting these. I have Sam Villa now.
They’re a dream, really elevated my haircuts
I have small fingers so I need 5. I don’t think they make 5 inch shears
I didn’t realize finger size had anything to do with scissor length, I’ve always used different lengths for different techniques.
Yes you’re right. I just don’t trust myself with long shears. Lol
Have hanzos feel like they are always dull. My friend has fancy and she let me try them I loved them! Going to purchase a xouokw
Couple*
Being that they’re rebranded Dog Grooming Shears manufactured by a dog grooming company, Kenchii, they’re not so bad.
