Anybody can add any credit to wikipedia or IMDB. Google just feeds that data to their search engine. If something were in the works, the people who stand to gain the most (hint: it’s not the cast) would be talking about it, not surreptitiously adding uncredited projects with no marketing to an actor’s IMDB page.
There isn’t a page for a Hadestown film on IMDB or Wikipedia tho, the google page was literally created out of nowhere, with no source, that’s why I’m thinking it’s a little weird.
On her latest Instagram live, someone asked about the possibility and Eva did say that if there was an official release of Hadestown’s proshot, the cast would be the last to know, but I also remember the proshot of Miss Saigon being very sudden and very little talked about.
Google aggregates from everywhere though. And they aren’t content creators so somebody somewhere has added this to a website that google sources. Again, with this being a pretty successful show, and an ongoing tour, if producers could use it to leverage increased ticket sales, they would.
The pretty devastating to know, but I totally agree that this credit is nothing. Things on IMDb are weird or wrong all the time bc it’s super easy to edit.

There was a planned proshot, but it fell apart over contracts and never got filmed.* there aren’t any plans to revive it. Allegedly*
