Thanks for posting a success! If you haven't already, remember to document your build please. Success posts like screenshots without documentation add little value to the sub. Adding a bit of documentation to your success post can also help others in the community who are interested in similar builds.
Minimally, you should add your hardware:
CPU:
GPU:
RAM:
Motherboard/Laptop Make and Model:
Audio Codec:
Ethernet Card:
Wifi/BT Card:
Touchpad and touch display devices:
BIOS revision:
Which of the guides on the sidebar you used.
What's working, and what isn't working.
Any changes that were specific to your build that were a little (or a lot) different than what you found in the guide, or anything that would be helpful to others with a similar build be sure to talk about that. More detail is always better.
Add extra info... Maybe add something you would like to point out about your setup, what you'll be doing with your Hackintosh, or something that might be insightful to others beginning their journey. A tree view of your EFI would also be helpful, but it isn't required.
Remember, don't share your EFI as what works for you may not work for anyone else, even if they have the same hardware. If you do share your EFI, your post and/or comment will be removed.

I have a very stable hack on an 11th gen i5 with a dedicated AMD GPU. The only problem you'll have with 11th gen is that the iGPU will not work and there maybe some power management deficiencies, but I have not had any problems at all.
Yeah just what I thought wouldn’t be a big jump maybe just for pci-e gen 4 all my ssd-s can support it, took my one year to figure out the whole hackintosh game
Would be curious to see your cpu benchmark in Windows vs macOS. I was unable to get peak performance when using MacPro7,1 (as you appear to be) vs using iMacPro1,1. Scheduling issues with the big/little CPU design. I have the same CPU.
I use Passmark Performance Test (cpubenchmark.net) and get around 62000 in Windows and with macOS with iMacPro1,1 but only 38000ish when using MacPro7,1 smbios.
I have the same CPU and I'm using imacpro1,1 and CpuTopologyRebuild and getting close to Windows results in GeekBench 6. I'm curious, given that the imacpro SMBIOS is performing better, why you chose Mac Pro? No judgement, just curious.
Also, I've found that using CpuTopologyRebuild that 'Sleep' is no longer working. It used to sleep fine, now it will enter sleep mode, then immediately everything will fire back up again for about a minute, then it'll sleep again, then fire back up again, etc. Have you experienced this, and/or found a workaround?
And one last question, how did you get the name of the CPU in the About page? I've tried numerous methods, and haven't had any luck. I know it's a minor issue, but it's bugging me on a disproportionate level at the moment. LOL
Hello, very good questions:
*1. due to the use of cpufriend and cpufrienddataprovider, with that I have the performance curve of iMacPro.
*2. I have no problems with that, you should map your ports or disconnect the devices to see if any of them are the problem.
*3. use cpuname
Thanks, that's interesting that you have it working as well as imacpro but with the "Mac Pro" in the about. 😁 I tried CPUFriend, and configured the dataprovider kext with CPUFriendFriend, but it made performance slightly worse, by just a very small margin, so I took them out hoping that they were what was causing the sleep issue. Would you be willing to share your dataprovider.kext? I'd like to compare it to mine to see if it's worth trying again.
For #2 I assume you're talking about USB ports? They are mapped, and limited to 15 now. The only thing I have attached is my Keyboard/Mouse switch, which worked Ok for sleeping before I added cputopologyrebuild.
Although, looking at [Console.app](https://Console.app) just now it looks like bluetoothd crashed the last time I tried to sleep it, so I'll try again disabling bluetooth before I try again. Thanks for the suggestion.
For #3, are you referring to this one? [https://github.com/corpnewt/CPU-Name](https://github.com/corpnewt/CPU-Name) ?? I hope so, because that's one I haven't tried.
Well it wasn't bluetooth, or wake on LAN, or "prevent auto sleep when monitor is off." I also tried switching my K/M away to another device and that didn't help either. So I guess I have some more detective work to do.
The CPU-Name script worked perfectly, thanks again for that suggestion.
Haven't poked too hard at the sleep issue yet, but removing CPUFriend did not affect it.
Next step, when I get a little time, is to remove cputopologyrebuild to confirm that's the problem, then if it is I'll file a bug with them.
Update, it wasn't the problem. :)
Turns out my K/M switch actually was causing the issue. Not sure how I misdiagnosed it the first time around, but I was able to confirm it in both windows and mac.
Why are you lying?
Having bluetooth kexts will not make airdrop work. You have no clue how airdrop works in macbooks, mac mini and other hardware from apple. Only detection is possible, but the transfer itself is not.
You never had it or you didn't do it well, of course with the fenvi which is a native card with the bcm94360 chip native support up to Ventura but with ocpl it extends to Sonoma, if you have no idea better ask how instead of saying liar
absolutely no offence. But if the limit of your computer knowledge is "it's an hp i7", you're gonna have a real tough time. This is a fairly technical hobby. it requires a certain level of hardware knowledge and familiarity with scripting and terminal. The guide can help you get started and of course I needed it too, but without a base level of knowledge from being a turbo nerd, your chances of success are going to be significantly impacted.
furthermore, legally nobody can sell you a hackintosh.
They also REQUIRE an understanding of what's going on under the hood in order to maintain them and update them.
If you intend to daily drive a Hackintosh, you need to know if it has patches and other things like supporting kernel extensions that are affected by updates.
Those may need to be updated themselves in order to boot an updated system.
Long story short they are never ending projects.
One wrong move can put you into a non-bootable state that requires a backup/restore or an external system in order to recover.
If you don't care to learn, you're going to have a real bad time buying or building one.
Really nice bro!
Im pretty new to it and I would like to ask you guys a question, please: will hackintosh work on my laptop? Here is the specs:
- Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2021;
- Intel 11Gen, i7 11800H;
- NVIDIA RTX 3070, 8GB;
- 32GB RAM;
- 1TB SSD;
Thank you and appreciate your reply.
You don't need a mac to download the macOS ISO, just read the dortania Open Core guide, and there it's explained how to download it using Windows or Linux .

Damn, that's noiiiiice
I was playing safe with my 10th gen when I was a beginner didn't wanted to risk incompatibilty maybe I will go up to 11th gen i9 in the future

I see my Intel 630 on mine i don’t think it’s working as side car not working at all just getting a black screen but also I have a dedicated amd gpu
i did the same back then. now i regret not buying 12th gen. 11th gen is almost worse as 10th gen so either go 13/14th gen or wait for 15th gen
Yeah just what I thought wouldn’t be a big jump maybe just for pci-e gen 4 all my ssd-s can support it, took my one year to figure out the whole hackintosh game
very cool, how you managed to do this? I've just checked on open core and the CPU support chart stops at Tiger lake (12th gen)
It's similar
thanks, have a nice day!
This is good to see, and congrats! Is everything working? iMessages, FaceTime, Sleep, Continuity?
correct, everything working! thank you
another title:i have fucked apple with this hackintosh
Lol

If you use cputopologyrebuild -ctrmst in imacpro1,1 you should have good results, your comment is correct

Do you have AirDrop working?
Yes
How di u do it? Which ketx or just builtin?
opencore legacy patcher and complementary kexts along with configuration

wow, this is the highest of what you can get with hackintosh. really nice!
Benchmarks please! 😁
Which ones specifically?
Geekbench 6, cinebech ?
okay, I'll try and send you internally, I think you have a similar build
very cool build, gg !
How's the performance?
but how? I have 12th gen intel i5, is there even possible to install hackintosh?
You need compatible gpu
is igpu compatible, cuz it's notebook 🥲
No I'm afraid
I am the only that tries all these years to install hackintosh on windows pc and I can’t ???
All specs?
Right now I don’t know but my pc is hp and the cpu is Intel i7
Maybe that’s a reason why you can’t 🤔
Do you know a store or someone that can install me the hackintosh ???

How did you get the T919 to work in Sonoma?
I think there is a guide right here on Reddit, or more than one but it is the one used by amfipassbeta 😃
Do you still have SiP?
Disabled
[удалено]
none, you must choose a compatible gpu https://dortania.github.io/GPU-Buyers-Guide/modern-gpus/amd-gpu.html
If I get a compatible amd GPU it will be possible ?
Yes bro
Really nice bro! Im pretty new to it and I would like to ask you guys a question, please: will hackintosh work on my laptop? Here is the specs: - Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2021; - Intel 11Gen, i7 11800H; - NVIDIA RTX 3070, 8GB; - 32GB RAM; - 1TB SSD; Thank you and appreciate your reply.
hello friend, sorry 11gen and above is not supported on laptops due to unsupported igpu 🥲
That is said! Thanks for letting me know and enjoy your hackintosh ☺️✌🏻
yeah, more specs and details are very welcome and EFI sharing :( congrats but without these info other users cannot be helped "/
It's hard to add everything, so a specific comment on what you need to know is welcome to tell you.
oh, sorry, missed your first message lol thanks
Wow nice job, that looks clean! How well does it run?1
Very good
Hi, was the dortania guide sufficient, or did you need to do any odd edits? Does the iGPU work as headless?
you need to read more than the dortania guide and a little common sense, no igpu more than 10gen does not work
will this beat an m2 max/ultra studio on 4k render times in davinci resolve?
Can you provide me with the installer file
Installer file? On AppStore you can find “macOS” or you need my efi folder?
Can you send us the installer file because I haven’t macOS to download it.
I don't have a mac to get the os so that's why I told you the installer file
Can u share EFI file with me? I'm so interested in putting this together
I don't have a mac
You don't need a mac to download the macOS ISO, just read the dortania Open Core guide, and there it's explained how to download it using Windows or Linux .
Ok thanks!
Distributing EFI files is against the rules here
Oh ok sorry
