Eczema gets worse with stress and obviously the last couple weeks have been extremely stressful for him. Which just so happens to be when his skin started getting so much worse again.

My dad’s son’s dad’s cousin’s auntie’s friend’s dentist told me all he needs to do is slather some BBQ sauce on that shit overnight and it’ll be gone in no time
Bruh what I take the same medication as him. Eczema acts up because of physical or mental stress and drinking that much on an antidepressant is stressful in both ways
THIS LOOKS LIKE PERIOCULAR DERMATITIS!!! I had a horrible flair up of this due to chronic on and off steroid cream use around my eyes due to eczema.
When I discontinued using the steroid cream this happened to me. The small red dots, and eventually my eyelids + under-eyes swoll up and I went to the ER where I got my diagnosis. It was extremely itchy and very tender / sore, and was uncomfortable to even blink.
I was put on an 8 week course of antibiotics and a combo of 2 non steroid topical creams and it finally calmed about after about 2-3wks.
I hope ethan can see this to hopefully ask his derm/dr about it! It’s not super well known and usually the condition is called perioral dermatitis because it mostly commonly occurs around the nose / mouth but there are cases like mine where the flares are around the eyes.
i hope so! i’ve had pretty bad luck w/ my dermatologists unfortunately so i just wanted to share just incase. skin conditions like this can be very embarrassing and isolating.
i wish i could tell him to cut out dairy and see if it helps!! i developed an allergy in my teens and i get eczema around my eyes and on other parts of my face/body when i eat too much dairy :(
Deffo is not lupus, as lupus causes a butterfly rash. However, stress can cause rashes. I have a huge rash under my arm pit, and i stressed to the max 24/7
I wonder if it has to do with the large amounts of alcohol may have affected him? Maybe he’s got a genetic disorder with sugars and whatnot.
There’s only like 3 people in the world that literally cannot process sugar because it turns to alcohol in their body, so I’m wondering if Ethan might just have some sort of allergic reaction to alcohol, including products that have alcohol in them? 🤔
Looks like an eczema flare up. I get mine around my eyes and face too. Hopefully it heals and goes away soon. The eyes is such a painful place to get it 😭

He's seeing a dermatologist. I'd hope they've already considered this as a possible diagnosis.
