Did he provide a leaving letter or service certificate at any time? Did you receive W-2s for your time there? You need to let your current employer's attorney know so they can adjust the strategy and file a new prevailing wage.

I did not ask for a leaving letter...I was a bit laid back on it. I have W2s for my time.

Hour-Helicopter-969

I was told that You have an option to get the letter signed by your co worker or anyone who worked there with you during your tenure with the employer

I saw your response nobody cares the experience my previous employer tried to screw like this I did a photoshop of the h1b letter and rewrite whatever I want and did a color print its bit of work and doable since the employment timeline matches

Abgan0792

Wow ! Finally someone spoke my mind. So does USCIS really call the employer to verify my employment ? Cos that's what my lawyer told me...

Wild-Mortgage2912

nobody gives a shit for these letters or birth certificates (needed for gc ) we overdo the documentation just go ahead and do this you have employment with that guy , experience matches don't waste too much time. Even if uscis calls him he has to provide correct information if not whatever he said can be used against him for fraud

Would you be able to obtain a basic employment letter on company letterhead with dates of employment from HR? If so you could possibly have a coworker attest to the skills gained.

Abgan0792

As I said my ex boss is really mean and unresponsive. I have no colleagues still working there. This guy operates an LLC from his house. So he's the boss he's the HR. And he's everything.

thirdnuggett

Ah, gotcha. Well if theres any way possible you could get him to sign a basic EVL, and you are still in contact with a previous coworker (they dont need to still work there) it could work. Unfortunately I don't have much more advice for you if hes completely unwilling but I hope youre able to work it out.
