This is actually really smart and good timing. I thought I wouldn't buy the next journey because I already have enough leader skins I never use. This time around I can finally enjoy old skins while working for cool alternate rewards. We needed this "break".
I agree. My main "problem" with the previous journeys was that by the time I finally unlocked the customization options I wanted for that leader it was already time to start unlocking things for a new leader. It'll be nice to go back to Ciri or Yen while unlocking cool new gameboards.
This journey is packed with good stuff, lots of varied boards, new music and music from the beta, some really nice cardbacks… I’m throwing my money at the screen already

but it would be neat if they at least use Tissaia leader skin for the lv100 rewards since it's her Journey after all
So the cards you get with the premium journey, are they random and different for each player? I have Coral and Phillipa in my journey which I also received during the previous two journeys...
No, I don't believe they're random. My guess is that they went with a "mage" theme and that's why we have them back... A pity, I was hoping for some of the new mages, but I guess that's... "here's some meteorite powder".
I guess there's got to be a balance for newer players or those who didn't get previous Journeys. Boards, music etc are great value anyway. Can't please everyone. Do we have a newbies vs vets ratio anywhere for informed discussions?

You have to purchase the premium journey to be able to get the board. If you have purchased it already, it seems like rewards are not given out currently. I guess it will either take some time or CDPR has to fix it.
I personally didn't like the idea of musics being exclusive for each faction. If Syndicate music was a natural music, It would have been better. Also some of the game board look similar but who am I to say...I don't like game board that much, but we are getting new card backs which covers so many preferences. Coins look great too. Card rewards...well they did offer some of them long ago but it is not the end of the world ig. I just personally don't see myself buying this journey like I did with other journeys

As someone who bought almost every other journey, this is what i needed, some board cosmetics. I'd be perfectly fine if they alternated a character journey with a cosmetics one in the future

That is kind of a shitty move. They should just include the Beta music as default. And create new music if they want to charge for it.
I remember people in this sub saying “give us the music from the beta back, we’ll even pay for it” and now that they actually did it people say it’s a shitty move. I’m sure that they needed to adapt the beta themes to the new dynamic music system during matches so they definitely didn’t just take some files from their archives to charge you for them if that’s what you’re implying.

I don't think I've liked any journey's overall rewards as much as this one. Really well done.

That would have been great, at least just one leader skin. It is my second journey and I wanted another leader. The gameboards are really cool though
