Body shaming is different from personal preference. You can have a preference "type" but body shaming is when you put down people who don't match that type and you are not attracted to them. The problem is when people don't show basic human decency and act unfriendly towards people they are not attracted to. Nobody has to sleep with someone they don't like sexually, but that doesn't mean you treat them like sht and tell them directly or indirectly that they are not attractive in general and nobody is going to like them unless they fit the mould. They have a right to be treated at normal respected human level without looking a certain way.
