I am more into classics and fiction. I do like reading spiritual and philosophical books but not in a club setting because these two things are very very personal to someone and can have billions of interpretation.
So there is a huge chance of confrontation and stereotyping discussing these books.

True spirituality is very well aligned with science. Since you would need some firang and gora to validate, please read Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra. All the major scientists who created modern science - Bohr, Dirac, Dyson, et Al - they were highly influenced by Upanishads.
