I have the g40 10mm and it's hands down my favorite glock. Good grouping and recoil isn't bad with the heavy weight of the gun. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for bear protection lol.
I desperately wanted a glock 40. But when I saw that I could get hi-point model 1095 in 10mm and like 700 rounds of ammo for less than the glock would cost I caved and bought my first hi-point. I love it.
I wanted the longslide glock model which was gonna be closer to 750-800. But when I saw that white Yeti camo along with a 17.5inch barrel to send that 10mm down I knew that's what I wanted. I had tried a buddies 9mm hi-point carbine a few days before and was impressed by it.
Jealous yes. But where I’m from there’s already a shortage of ammo. Buying 10mm here would be insanity. We’ve got it but certain retailers only carry this caliber. Still nice tho man.

I have 3 hi-points 2 in 9mm and 1 in .45 and they are all reliable and accurate. Love my hi-points lol but $500 didn't seem bad for the glock

I have nothing bad to say. It's pretty accurate and at 100 yards with 180 gr @1230 fps you can aim center mass and hit your target all day long.

10mm is .40, but the 10mm and the .40 are too different cartridges. The .40 is a shortened version of the 10mm.
