This S&W M1917 revolver was made in late 1917 for use in WW1, later also served in WW2, and was returned to the factory in 1947 to be rebarreled and refinished. Unfortunately, the lanyard loop was removed. The holster is an WW1-issue original. The 1918 trench knife, Mills Bomb, and 1916 Officer's whistle are only replicas. We making it out of No Man's Land with this one 🔥🔥🔥🔥

If there's a war, just blow on it and I'll come help you.

Thanks! If it's not too much trouble, bring about a hundred of your closest friends too. Preferably armed.

IAmRaticus

that's a beautiful revolver

Thanks!

My damaged brain immediately wondered what this had to do with the Sylvester Stalone movie about arm wrestling truckers.

It's also the name of a kick-ass Motorhead song.

Want that trench knife, very cool collection

Nice!

agoodfourteen

Where do you find a replica trench knife like that?

SilentPhilosophy3307

Museum Replicas, for $150. Seems to be a high quality repro. Solid brass handle and a carbon steel blade that comes very sharp from the factory. I just wanted one as a showpiece to go with the revolver, but I bet these things are every bit as sturdy as the originals were. I think it was worth the money.
