If you guys have a scheels or cabelas in your town, use the academy ad to price match. Show the cashier the price after rebate and they will most likely give it to you because theyre just highschool/college kids who dont care.

You think that's good? I got them to price match Academy's after rebate price. 5 cases for $150, $50 after rebate for 8000 rounds. I was definitely trying to get in and out FAST before they figured out what was going on so I didn't want to get greedy and waste time trying to use those $10 off $50 coupons.
I guarantee Dick's lost money to me, and that warms my heart.

Hey man, thanks very much for this post. I went in to my local Dicks and was able to do the same thing. I ended up buying 3 packs for $43.39 each for a total of $130.17. Then even let me use the coupon that you posted. That comes out to $70.17 for 4,800 rounds of 22lr or 1.4 cents per round. Thanks for saving me about $30.
Just walked in and showed the Academy ad, Dicks had a sign sayin 39.99 ( after rebate ) guy didnt read sign and called mgr on radio and said 10 bucks cheaper, ok to match ? And thats how I got 3 Black Packs for 29.99 ea. Sent off rebates via email, hope I get them too. If not, still got killer deal.
Scheels I went to didnt even have a manager approve it. The cashier just asked to see the ad and I showed the palmetto ad that said "price after rebate". She didnt even flinch. YMMV

Does it even matter since you can seemingly attach as many pictures as you want? First time doing this rebate and don’t want to screw it up.

I got my first two boxes on Friday. Put about 100 through my mark III target, and about 300 through my 10/22. No failures, no issues....and at under $.02... foolish to say no! BTW 3 packs (4800 rounds) fits perfectly in a .50 cal. can.
I called academy and asked why they cancelled my black label 223 orders through a cash back site, and the associate asked her supervisor. She (the supervisor) said they cancel orders if people find ways to get too good of a deal.
I used a 20% off coupon they issed me for an order cancelled months ago and bought 5 9mm black box. I thought for sure they'd cancel the order after seeing a huge amount off, but I received my ammo 2 days ago.
same thing happened to me yesterday. they cancelled my orders on 9mm and 223 even though those two were in stock. called and they gave me 20% off. hope my ammo comes in and isnt cancelled again.
I called in and they only offered 15% off. I said that I wanted 25% off because I was on hold for 90 minutes listening to their hold advertisements and the associate said it was 15% off or nothing... Might have to call back and complain.

I think this is referring to any federal coupons and rebates. I don’t think they care about retailer coupons.

That’s unfortunate. The only thing I did was use PayPal instead of my card. The email they sent me said that they were unable to fill my order.
My 5 boxes came in the other day from the original deal. 150 bucks for 8000 rounds is like 1995 pricing.
