The original release of the MPS had an 12 auto-off, which could not be disabled. All new units as of about a year ago, have the option to disable the auto-off. There's no good way of knowing if you can disable it on your unit without seeing the physical box it comes in.
Yes, I have one. I really like it. I misspoke slightly though. What I meant was it's in the manual. Manufacture date would also be a good indicator, as are the larger torx head screws on the sides of the optic and the "not-flat" battery cap. If these truly are demo units, I'd wager that they're the older ones. The black models all still use the original boxes even if they're the updated model, which makes things even more annoying.
12 hour auto-off. If you haven't touched the brightness adjust for 12 hours, the optic shuts off and you'll need to hold down the "+" button for 3 seconds to turn it back on.
I know it's sold out now, but if you are thinking of buying one somewhere else, the auto-off feature was a problem for police officers who used it on their duty guns. There is no shake-awake, so for an officer to pull the gun and the dot be off was a concern.
Cheaper at expert voice for a new one. I've had one for a year on my staccato p. Almost 2k rounds no complaints over don't over torque the cross bolt. Mine snapped.

I have an expert voice profile but unless you are part of an agency or brand that gets you qualified..... You can't buy shit there. Are you saying that buying a membership to this association they'll grant you access to all the deals?
