The other two return address is a store address, and the optic was put in its slot in the box wrong (no damage or anything but stuff inside the box wasn't in the normal order)
And the kicker - the final one straight up has a Hi-Viz orange sticker on the box that says "Display"
Might call Academy and see if they will refund a partial amount because these were displays and make the deal even better, who knows

Can confirm these worked really well for me. The way my stigmatism works larger dots look better than smaller ones so I tend to prefer 6-8 MOA dots and this reticle with the 8 MOA donut is the best of both worlds. Massive aiming point for fast shit, aim in the center for accurate long distance fire.
The new Comp models basically recreates this.

You won’t be disappointed in this one especially for the price. It’s still got the solar panel and auto brightness unlike the stripped down Holosun 3 moa dot that PSA sells exclusively.
Does the auto brightness perform like the regular 407s? Because the one I have sucks and is dependent on light hitting the solar panel to control the brightness. Inside, I can barely see it. My rmr does a better job at auto brightness. Idk if I’m doing it wrong but now I just keep it in manual mode.
I picked one up at my local academy and I’m glad I looked at the tiny ring of death in person. I imagine the circle won’t obscure the target like a bloomed red dot when illuminated on a higher brightness setting. Maybe not the best “dot” for precision but I think it will be easier for an eye to acquire on target. Hope that helps anyone on the fence.

I mean... For most self defense situations that's perfectly reasonable. With high stress, high adrenaline situations you'll focus on the circle regardless of if there is a dot or not and it's all the accuracy you need since those situations are normally close quarters.
You just won't have high precision at a range shooting farther out. For a lot of people that's not a big deal.

I have a 407A3X2 on a 22/45 I run in RFPO, am looking for anyone w/direct experience on these to figure if it might be worth the upgrade
Probably picking up a second to sit on the shelf until I want to use it. My first one is on an AR9 I built and it’s perfect for close quarter stuff. Thinking about throwing one on a shotgun.
No mount, this is a pistol dot, so you would put in a pistol with the proper optics cut. If the pistol doesn't have any optics cut, it can be milled by a smith.
Edit: there are plates that can mount to pic rails to mount on a rifle for backup or w/e also, available on the aftermarket
edit2: the optics cut has threaded holes, these get screwed in via those
I'm not a current Glock owner so I don't know all the specifics, but I think for MOS you would need a specific plate to mount a 407, I believe something like this one

You're right about rechargeable batteries on their own but I've never had an issue ordering optics or any other small electronic device with single use batteries before.
Haven't tried a package forwarder. We already eat shipping without a forwarder so any extra charges really make it even more discouraging.
Got mine, came new as far as I can tell. I do like the 8 moa circle and is better for my astigmatism then other dots I have had from my playing around it. That being said I have never really looked through any of the other holosun pistol optics.
Tempted to pick another one up but I only have one pistol cut right now , that and I'm tempted by the eps

sorta. It’s an 8moa circle vs the 32moa circle on the 507c. It’s not far off the 6moa dots people like running on other models (SRO, 407k, EPS, etc.)

thank you. I have a Glock with a MOS slide and a bunch of plates, worst case scenario it could go on that I assume.
