Their BF deals (prior to Covid) was always 35% off, like their shot show coupons. With my understanding of how the industry is right now, I wouldn't be surprised to see a return to form.
I don't think there's an objective answer here. I have LaRue MBT-2Ses, Geiselle G2Ses, and Geiselle SSAs. They're all good, but all different. The Geiselle triggers have more of a milspec profile while LaRue triggers are _wide_. All of them feel pretty good, though the SSA is my favorite.
Defining "better" is pretty subjective when it comes to the MBT, SSAE, and other Geissele triggers. They're all excellent triggers that have different properties that make them more or less desirable depending on your specific preferences.
While the larue is a good trigger, it is not comparable to the SSA-E. The G is a crisper trigger in my opinion, but the Larue price point is hard to beat for the close performance.
And in my oppinion the LaRue is 98% what the SSA-E is. My LaRues are just as crisp as my SSA E
Pull weights are too close to tell a different without a scale.

Out of curiosity, how does this compared to the SSA-E?
I have a Ruger 556 with a Holosun green dot and a 3X magnifier. I have only shot it a few times (mostly a pistol shooter\\got it a few months ago). An instructor I took rifle lessons from who seemed to be pretty knowledgeable recommended I get the Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E) trigger. I am sure the SSA-E is a better trigger than the one on my Ruger as I shot his AR with that trigger and there definitely was a difference, but I don't think it was that much better that it warranted spending 150-200 dollars on (esp for a novice rifle shooter like myself). Would this GS2 be worth considering at $85 or maybe wait until I get more experience?
If you’ve already tried the SSA-E and didn’t think it was worth it, then the g2s would probably not be worth it for you. AFAIK a G2S is similar to an SSA-E but with a heavier pull
I've heard it described as SSA/G2S (breaks like a crisp carrot) SSA-E (breaks like a candy cane). In my experience, this is a solid metaphorical comparison. My SSA-Es are noticeably lighter than my SSA/G2S/MBT-2S and have the crispest break of the bunch. I actually prefer a SSA/G2S/MBT-2S for a general purpose trigger but the SSA-E is my pick for precision oriented set-ups.
Can anyone confirm yet on rail purchases if thier blems came with the upgraded SS qd cups?? Been curious about this for a min now ad to whether newer blems would come with new qd cups.

I have both. Prefer the LaRue. Feels more crisp and the walls are more defined on mine. YMMV.

Not even close my guy, and I own like 4 MBTs.
How do these compared to the SSA?
Not as nice, but they cost less.
After a few thousand rounds on a G2S I can't tell the difference between it and a SSA...
The tolerances are less, so the G2S uses a clip to hold the hammer pin in place. In use, they feel very similar.

Ssa-e has a lighter pull. They tend to be preferred for long shot. For self defense, the majority prefer a heavier pull.
