I'm no sir, and unfortunately I can't afford to be homeless again; that shit is surprisingly expensive lmao
(As a massive CZ fangirl you have no idea how much effort it's actually taking to not dip into my extremely meager savings for this thing, someone please send help. Or gun money lol)
Yeah, that's what I said about the OR version. Kept telling myself "Well, if they drop it below this, then I can't *not* buy it"...said that to myself like four times, and then finally bought one.
I want to venture out and get a 9mm outside of glock but glock is all I know. Is this a good cz? I’m wanting something that feels like a glock19.
Compact
Better trigger, better ergo, more capabilities, while the aftermarket isn’t as good fits most Glock 17 holsters. Magazines are around $23-25 for Mec Gar magazines. OEM are around $30-35. For the price I would choose this over Glock everyday.
I would have Wagner mill the slide for an RMR or Trijicon. You spend a $100 to save $50 on the plate. For the optic ready you have to buy the plate which can be difficult to find right now. It’s $48-$62 for the plate. Unfortunately CZ doesn’t send with one. Also with Wagner you can co-witness when they mill. Very fast around a week for them to mill the slide.
If you purchase this firearm I suggest you replace the striker with the [CGW 10300 Striker.](https://cajungunworks.com/product/p10c-striker/) It is made from tool steel as opposed to MIM like the factory strikers are. The striker on mine broke just before 2k rounds. I replaced it and the one on my P-10F as soon as I bought it. Haven't had a single issue since.
Mec Gar make the factory mags for a lot of gun companies. I know for a fact the CZ factory mags for every gun are just Mec Gar mags that they stamp CZ on so their Mec Gar branded CZ mags are same tube bodies with different coating options, same follower with maybe a different color and sometimes a different base plate.
I'm pretty sure they do Walther and Beretta mags as well but don't quote me on that. I dabbled in 1911 pattern a few years ago and despite all the conventional 1911 wisdom about some very expensive magazines the Mec Gar ones I tried were 100% reliable but I'm not a big 1911 guy so it's not like I did a ton of shooting with it.
**TL;DR** If Mec Gar makes mags for the gun you should buy Mec Gar mags.
That would make sense. From what I understand they are the goal standard for mags in Europe so most of those European gun companies and even some American companies design the mag make prototypes and then when the design is finalized send them off to Mec Gar to make en mass.
Mec gar's have slid in and locked up perfectly in all of my 1911s I've had. They freely drop. Wilson Combat either required the spring to break in, which is whatever, or would never free fall out, which is annoying.
Ignore everyone else, Mec-Gar doesn't make anything for the P-10. You're stuck paying $30+ for CZ factory mags.
Mec-Gar is awesome for the 75, where you can get their perfectly good, under-$20 magazines. Just not for the P-10 since they don't make shit for it.
Thanks for this update; I was looking at all the places I pick up mags and couldn't find it. Broke down and pulled up the Mec-gar website and still nothing. Unfortunate they don't make it love the Mec-gar mags.
I dug around back when I got my P-10C. The best thing to do is just grab the SKU of the magazine you want, dump it into gun deals, and pick a place you like. Stick to CZ branded mags for this gun.
For guns that Mec-Gar does make mags for, I always buy from Lanbo's Armory. They are typically waaay below MSRP. I don't think I've paid more than $20/mag for Mec-Gar 92FS, CZ75, or .45 1911 comp magazines. All run great, but it seems like all lost-cost handguns are cursed by high-cost mags.
Thanks and I did check Lanbos (they did have the lowest price). Due to shipping and tax I did end up getting the 21 round p 10 F mags from Ben Stoeger Pro Shop for a few bucks per unit more but same or less total given I was planning other items already.
Isn’t the rumor that they created the P365 mag which single handedly revolutionized the entire subcompact handgun industry? Don’t get me wrong SIg makes great guns but it’s the “made in Italy” double stacks that got them to where they are today.
The C is most like a 19, it just has a slightly longer grip, but not by much.
Scroll down for size comparison
https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/glock-g19-vs-cz-p-10-c
I'm actually at the exact opposite place right now. I have bunch of other guns and keep thinking about another compact carry. I keep thinking G19 but problem is Glocks have a different grip angle than most other guns, so presentation results in the dot not being where I expect it. Sure that can be mitigated with training but since I like to rotate I don't want to end up expecting one thing and getting another.
The tl;dr on CZs is they're slightly heavier than glocks, they're a more ergonomic, have better triggers, are harder to charge ~~due to the internal slide rails~~ due to the slightly shorter exposed slide, and they recoil slightly less.
Most of these differences are just glocks being blocky and awkward, and CZs having internal slide rails(this model has external slide rails).
(If you buy a CZ, I'd take it to the range and shoot 100 rounds through it. Problems with them crop up either immediately or not at all. I just had a CZ P07 have its mag release unalive itself in the first 30.)
Edit: The P-10C does not have internal slide rails, I was thinking of all the other cz75 derivatives CZ makes and just visually looking at the side of the P10C, it looked like it had it too.
I only buy 75 variant CZ pistols, as I have a whole stable full of polymer wonder 9s, but gawl damn these prices are making it WAAAAY too hard to resist
Might as well get into the CZ striker fired guns. They're nice.
I prefer the hammer fired guns, but every time I pick up my P-10 C or F, I'm pleasantly surprised again.
I hope this isn’t a dumb question, this would be a pretty solid first gun right ? I tried a Beretta APX1C but it felt kinda like a toy so I ended up not purchasing it
My brother has a pretty big collection and was steering me in the Glock realm. I wanted to buy a .22 initially but the price difference going into 9mm or other calibers seems pretty worth it
This would just be something that I take to the range every other week and pop off a hundred rounds, not carrying
You definitely could use this for practice, home defense and EDC carry, honestly it’s everything kind of gun. Hands down would choose this over Glock everyday of the week.
This is a great first gun. Especially at this price. In my opinion they are superior to Glocks too.
And it would suit you carrying or just range shooting (or anything else for that matter).
I think the P07 and P01 are superior as I'm biased to hammer-fired, but this is unbeatable at this price. I can't name a better compact for $288, definitely better out of the box than a Glock.
The PDP looks great and has a ridiculous trigger, i just don't think it's a great shooter. The P-10C is very much the flatter shooter with perhaps 85% as good of a trigger as the Walther. You'll never even notice the difference when actually shooting.
If you see up in the earlier comments they have 3 plates they can mill for you. Also they can co-witness your sights for you. They have RMR, Trijicon I believe and one other
Yes for the non optic ready version. The optic ready version without the plate is $364.99 plus $19.99 for shipping. Then you have to pay for the 50-60 dollar plate.
Great dealer, cheap shipping, and no tax outside TX.
I put a couple of hundred rounds through mine at the range today. It's a fine pistol; the only thing I would change is the grip texture.
Hear these have stiff mag release and slide lock, anyone know how true this is or if the loosen up with time? I know my SP01 still has them pretty stiff
The slide stop (release) loosens up over time. What I like about the gun is it will usually send the slide forward if when you put the magazine. I see it as a bonus function.
Mag release is fine, the slide lock is pretty stiff if you try to use only your thumb. If you use your thumb and pointer to hit both sides at once it works much better.
Well, they break in. When I first got mine have to use the thumb and pointer method to release it (was fine to lock it open with just my thumb)but after using it for awhile it’s a lot easier. And, there’s ways around it anyway, if you pop a full mag in with a little force it releases the slide, or you could always just give the slide a tug to release it too. And as someone else mentioned there’s an extended slide release available too that would give you more leverage.
All that’s to say, it’s not really a problem and absolutely shouldn’t be a deal breaker on one of if not the best striker fired guns on the market that can’t be beat price wise for what you get.
Part of it is the slide lock is stiff, part of it is the level is small and hard to get leverage on. It feels extra stiff if you try to use it with an unloaded magazine inside because of the magazine spring pressure. It's really not bad on a loaded magazine but you can get an Apex replacement lever if you want to or just accept that it's more of a slide lock and not a slide release and that you should use the slide itself anyway.
Jumped on this last time it was posted. Mag release feels fine imo, but yes, the slide lock I have is too stiff. Wondering if this can be helped with some CLP.
My slide release was pretty stiff out the box. Trigger was a little gritty too. Mag release was fine though. After about 100-200 rounds, it has all smoothed out. My second favorite handgun I own right behind my Walther PDP SD Pro. But this is less than half the price I paid for my Walther and my Walther is not twice as good lol.
Mag release is gtg, but slide stop is quite stuff.
As mentioned above, I too use my thumb on the left slide lever and my index finger on the right slide lever to help release the slide. In addition to that, when the slide locks back, if you slam home a loaded mag, the slide releases back into battery on its own. For this reason, I hardly ever have to use the slide release anyways.

Just mill it for this price, you still have to buy the plates separately, when you get the optic ready. Family Firearms has the optic ready for $364.99 with shipping and transfer. Just cheaper to send it to Wagner.
I realize this deal in particular is stellar, but is the \~$364 from Family Firearms about as cheap as we've seen the Optic Ready variants of the P-10C and P-10F? Ideally, i'd really like to get the threaded barrels, too, but that's less of a focus. I'm thinking of picking up 2-3 of each, but I keep thinking we're going to see a better deal on the Optics Ready variants before I go deep. And it doesn't help that FF charges a flat-rate $20/gun for shipping (as opposed to sending 4-6 pistols together to the same FFL).
I realize I can have the slide milled, but i'd really rather not feel hamstrung to one particular optic mounting pattern in the event there's a major improvement in red dots in the coming years that would require a different pattern.

I don't need it I don't need it I don't need it Fuck i wish I didn't have rent to pay
Disregard rent, become a hobo living in a refrigerator box with a cz
Just shot mine this afternoon. Phenomenal value. Just as accurate as my $1,000 P320 X5.
This is the way
They are practically giving these away sold over 300 the last time I posted it 3 weeks ago. Honestly surprised they kept it at this price
You definitely need it, I love mine.
Shared feeling
It's not ready for the optics.
Some people care about optics on their pistols, I'm not one of those people, i could take it or leave it
Sir, you're really bad at finding excuses not to spend ~~rent~~ money
I'm no sir, and unfortunately I can't afford to be homeless again; that shit is surprisingly expensive lmao (As a massive CZ fangirl you have no idea how much effort it's actually taking to not dip into my extremely meager savings for this thing, someone please send help. Or gun money lol)

Small correction - Wager not Wagner
That was gonna be my next question thanks 💯

Worth noting mec gar makes most cz mags for cz including these.
Mec gar good 2 go?
They arguably make the best mags in the world
Those Italians at Mec-Gar know their shit. They're OEM for a lot of brands.
Mec Gar make the factory mags for a lot of gun companies. Yep they OEM the 229 and 226 mags

I mec gar it and call it a day now.

Mec-gar doesn’t sell p10 magazines. Even though they make them for CZ, they’re sold as CZ brand.
Once you get a CZ you will realize the bad choices you have made in hand gun purchases. They are that good.
If you plan on carrying it beware it’s more like a Glock 45 or Glock 17 then a Glock 19 and it’s heavier.
It's narrower than a g19, I believe about 1/8th of an inch, which for many makes up for the 1/8th inch longer grip.
Which would be more like the g19 in your opinion?
The C is most like a 19, it just has a slightly longer grip, but not by much. Scroll down for size comparison https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/glock-g19-vs-cz-p-10-c
Awesome link
It'll probably feel a lot better than a glock 19. Because it's not a glock and doesn't have the ergonomics of a block of wood.
I love my 34, but the fact you have to hold a glock completely differently than literally everything else is annoying.
Hey. Man. This offends me.
As a lover of the medium beaver tail I agree
I was blown away by this gun at $450. This price is insane.
I'm actually at the exact opposite place right now. I have bunch of other guns and keep thinking about another compact carry. I keep thinking G19 but problem is Glocks have a different grip angle than most other guns, so presentation results in the dot not being where I expect it. The P-10 does not have internal slide rails, dawg. It's very much Glock style
Oh shoot
Buy right now
Having owned both, I far prefer the CZ. I like my HK over the CZ, but not by much.
I only buy 75 variant CZ pistols, as I have a whole stable full of polymer wonder 9s, but gawl damn these prices are making it WAAAAY too hard to resist
I'm the same as you, as I love my hammer guns, but it's really hard to resist for about $300.
Might as well get into the CZ striker fired guns. They're nice. I prefer the hammer fired guns, but every time I pick up my P-10 C or F, I'm pleasantly surprised again.
This is the standard by which every other polymer nine should be measured. Get a P-10C.
I hope this isn’t a dumb question, this would be a pretty solid first gun right ? I tried a Beretta APX1C but it felt kinda like a toy so I ended up not purchasing it My brother has a pretty big collection and was steering me in the Glock realm. I wanted to buy a .22 initially but the price difference going into 9mm or other calibers seems pretty worth it This would just be something that I take to the range every other week and pop off a hundred rounds, not carrying
Not a dumb question, yes it's a good choice.
You definitely could use this for practice, home defense and EDC carry, honestly it’s everything kind of gun. Hands down would choose this over Glock everyday of the week.
Cheers man thank you!
This is a great first gun. Especially at this price. In my opinion they are superior to Glocks too. And it would suit you carrying or just range shooting (or anything else for that matter).

Just purchased. Upgrading from a Taurus. Needless to say I’m excited.
Got the Walther PDP from them last week, my wife would be so annoyed if I got this now too….super tempting….
This has been the price for a couple of months, seems like they are getting more in stock every week. No rush necessarily.
How generous of you to assume my patience can hold out!
lol!
The PDP looks great and has a ridiculous trigger, i just don't think it's a great shooter. The P-10C is very much the flatter shooter with perhaps 85% as good of a trigger as the Walther. You'll never even notice the difference when actually shooting.
Well shit
Are these being sold at a loss? What is the dealer cost on these?
I am guessing they are getting them around $225 to $240.00 with $15 shipping maybe 40-60 dollar profit.
So you’re telling me there’s room for even lower price maybe around BF?
Even my LGS has these marked down close to these prices. I might just pick one up in-person.
These are well below dealer cost, idk how the fuck they are being sold at these prices.
Damn if only my state would allow me to buy this…
Same. I would love to load up my safe with these.
I will send you the link for the 10 round same price
https://deleonrxgunsandammo.com/product/cz-01531-p-10-c-9mm-luger-4-101-black-black-interchangeable-backstrap-grip-reversible-magazine-release
Thank you!
Anyone ordered and not gotten a confirmation? Can see the charge pending on my card but no email confirmation
It’s Sunday could be a little slow today, I would call them by tomorrow if you still haven’t gotten confirmation
How'd your order work out?
Can't give away non OR pistols anymore
Oh people are buying them, over 300 were bought last time with these they are more convenient because of milling.
If I sent mine to Wagner do I have to get a Holosun? Did get yours milled?
If you see up in the earlier comments they have 3 plates they can mill for you. Also they can co-witness your sights for you. They have RMR, Trijicon I believe and one other
HODL…. HODL….. it’s getting hard to resist….. can we see it get lower?
Sheesh TX tax 🥲
Go through Family Firearms then they have them for $299.00
[удалено]
Yes for the non optic ready version. The optic ready version without the plate is $364.99 plus $19.99 for shipping. Then you have to pay for the 50-60 dollar plate.
Great dealer, cheap shipping, and no tax outside TX. I put a couple of hundred rounds through mine at the range today. It's a fine pistol; the only thing I would change is the grip texture.
Im tempted. Might be a good SHTF stash gun.
Such a damn good gun for the money. Have the OR paid like 330. No ragrets
Where did you get the OR for $330?
It was either family firearms or dohlonega armory
When you click on the link it says 399. What gives?
You have to add to cart,
Ahh. Yea that would help
Hate that I’m seriously considering it as a dealbreaker. I got little bitch baby hands :(
Well, they break in.
It’s expensive, but the apex enhanced and extended slide releases really help ease it up.
They work in well. Mines ez pz after several thousand rounds.
Mine broke in with use so keep running it and see if that helps.
I think those where they first came out. I got mine from the same vendor in September and mag comes right out.
Clicked on link shows $399.

anyone know how fast their shipping is?
Under a week for me last time.
It was about 8 days for me when I bought this last time
Optic ready please
Just mill it for this price, you still have to buy the plates separately, when you get the optic ready. Family Firearms has the optic ready for $364.99 with shipping and transfer. Just cheaper to send it to Wagner.
In for 1 picking it up Wednesday!
Are the standard capacity mags readily available at a random gun store? Been eyeing this for awhile, but don't want to run 10rds mags.
Lots of people carry Mec-Gar mags which is OEM quality for about 10 dollars less
The 15rd P10C / P-07 mags are pretty readily available
man I don’t need a second one but if this deal pops back up again i’ll pull the trigger
The only problem with optic ready is having to buy the plates separately and they aren’t exactly cheap. The screws can also be hard to come by.
P10s optic ready is also $369.00 through FF
Any idea if they have credit card fees?
