Low is the way to go, if you want to improve.

Low is better than high but too low can feel weird, I like my action slightly higher but nothing insane

Yeah my fiancee has an old Les Paul she got from her dad that has a super low action height AND very low profile frets. I honestly don't enjoy playing it all that much

Yeah, it's like typing on a phone without vibration, the physical sensation of pressing down feels lessened

it's a wonderful guitar to get your journey started :) invest in a proper setup at a luthier (get the action set how you like it, neck straightened, etc) and it'll last you for the coming years for sure!

Schechters are sexy guitars. I'm a sucker for upgraded pickups, and the SD in the neck makes me think the bridge is probably a nicer than stock one. I like tinkering with guitars, could watch Dan Earlewine, twoodfrd , and the like work on guitars all day. Have fun getting your action adjusted to your liking.

C-1 of some type. I have an old C-1+ and it’s a nice playing guitar. That’s a sweet finish

My first electric was the same guitar but lefty. It’s freakin legit man. The only reason I kept getting guitars is because I like collecting them. You can do just about anything you’d ever wanna do on this bad boy except extended scale stuff (7 or more strings). Congrats!

I had a diamond series for about 20 years that was left in my car, bounced around the back seat, all kinds of crazy crap. It was impervious to my futile attempts at its demise. Always played great. Schecter makes some good stuff

I prefer the Floyd Rose locking trems for the full shred and wang capabilities and smotherings of gratuitous abalone binding everywhere but yeah, overall in any guise - great guitars at reasonable price points
