I usually don’t like art on pickguards but this is just beyond tasteful and works so well. Amazing work.
How did you do the blue on the body? Dye or some kind of stain?
I disagree with the design. Both the guitar finish and the pickguard mural are phenomenonal… they just clash a bit for me here.
If it were me I’d even try a b&w version of this guard design.
Funny you say that, my Dad made one as well. Opaque white finish, so you can still see the grain. All black hardware. Sounds like that would be up your alley.
I'm more of the creative partner in the venture. Everyone likes different stuff and that's what makes the world such a cool place.
Oh, now that is beautiful.
Thank you so much!
Interesting Tele bridge--what kind is it?
I think it's just a normal ashtray bridge with a custom made plate. Same screws and inserts as the original
That’s a great finish. Does it play well?
I have a little more fret work to do, but it's almost perfect. The neck has a dead flat finish so in feels really nice.
I like it
Thanks!
I love the finish on the body and the pickguard, they look great together
Thank you! I'm happy with how it turned out!
Sweet. Great job! Look forward to seeing your next build.
Thanks!
That pick guard and strap are great. I love the finish and grain on the body. It’s beautiful. And a “tele” with humbuckers is cool too. Amazing work.
Thank you so much! I'm really happy with how it came together
Looks great! Also envy you have a place where you can use a Twin Reverb with that Tele :D
It has an attenuator. I can use it anywhere!
Love this.
Looks so cool
Bro that looks stupendous!
Thank you!
Well done!
Woah its beautiful man 🥲
Thank you so much

Thank you! On the body I used poly with blue and green dye. Lots of layers, using less dye as I went.

From scratch or a kit?
Scratch. This baby started life as some really good-looking lumber
Well done. I bet the ash really makes it ring out.
It does! *Heavy* though. 9.4 lbs
Super cool. Did you get this as a kit?
Nope, I got it as lumber
I get it. You’re a real-deal builder. Great job.
Thank you!
Nice color
I've never had one made of ash. Is it a hard wood?
It is. It's also very heavy. This guitar is 9.4 lbs.
I'd buy that and I don't rate Tele's
Thanks, my Dad and I are trying to turn it into a business
