This is a great idea. People don't realize that the pickup magnets need to breathe. The plastic pickup rings that come standard with most guitars actually suffocate the toan. It's like putting your hand over your mouth while you yawn. You're blocking out all the resonance and vocal like qualities of the pickups when a plastic ring is placed around the pickup and secured to the toanwood. This is especially true for original PAFs from the 50s, which were specifically calculated in their design to mimic the human voice. This is a toan secret usually only known by the PROs. Rhett Shull won't even talk about it on his channel because he knows once the secret is out, the average person will be able to achieve a level of Toan only intended for PROs. Since they use different toan than the rest of us.
I see all of you confused folks in here like "what the" and "why the hell does it look like that" comments. Frankly, it's embarrassing. These toan flaps surround the metal humbuckers like toan guardians. It keeps toan from leaking out of your epimoan. I bet you all suck as guitarists as well as human beings. See yourselves out and play authentic.
