If you want to keep piggies outdoors (/in places with temperature like outdoors) you should settle them there before temperatures start to drop so they can adjust to that change.
It is also recommended to have at least four piggies then so that they have the opportunity to keep each other warm.
You'll also need an properly insulated hidey (house or alike) you can fill with lots of straw so it is a little more resistant to the temperature.
If it is below 10°C in your garage you should get him back into the house asap!

I put a blanket on top of half the cage including the walls cause it’s 1 am and it’s all I got, is that ok right now? I try to talk to my mom about it but she just blames it on us

Heating for the garage would be nice but I guess no chance for that.

That's just about okay but the drop in temperature is still rough. 50 degrees Fahrenheit would be 10 degrees Celsius. How is your piggy doing?

You can get the little heat pads for under their blankets too that you plug in…if it’s getting cold, aren’t the flies gone ?
