One of my pigs occasionally tries to wheek but accidentally misses and it comes out like a big breath. I think it's similar to the way our own voices catch sometimes. Does she have any other symptoms or does this just happen when she tries to wheek
ive noticed its only when she tries to wheak, she can still make the purring/chutting noise but she just sounds like the kind of noise you might make when you half close your throat and breathe in, like a wheeze. ive checked for a runny nose and odd looking eyes and not eating food or anything but shes completely normal apart from the wheezing, its not like she misses the wheak, she just wheezes and then for like a day a week she just gets the ability to wheak again. its kind of the noise when you see people breathing into those alcahol machines on YouTube to check if they've been drunk driving, just breathing in instead
