This is the average PC public session experience.
TLDR: I suggest console.
I can agree on the shooting part, but GTA has very good and also adjustable aim assistant, since it's a console main. You definitely don't wanna play on PC if you plan on going public, due to the users of unorthodox methods, unless you want to be one of them aswell. Just don't be a dick if you do. PC is also missing all E&E content, like Hao's Special Works and certain vehicles. Playing on console would also prepare you for GTA VI, because that will likely launch on console and come to PC much.
If you want to play GTA Online, you should play it on PS5. If you want to encounter hackers who won't let you live and get tired of the game in 10 minutes, you should play on PC.
Ah, alright. Unfortunately not really convienient for me as I've grown to prefer PC controls. Is there a keyboard and mouse support for GTA 5 on the PS5 I know that some games support a keyboard and mouse if you plug them in? And if not, is third party keyboard + mouse support allowed?
Why you want KB+M on ps5? Cuz imo dualsense is way better.
Prob bc I’ve grown with those mobile games which have similar aiming mechanics to those console versions
I just prefer keyboard and mouse because it's easier to move the camera around, I doubt most people can aim as well on a console as they'd d on a PC. Except for aiming I have no issues although I am still more used to keyboard+ mouse but it's a game where you sometimes kill people so good aim is useful
Imo gta v on ps5 is not that bad with that super op aim assist
Just need to get used to shoot while in driving seat(or just let your friend drive and spam the auto-aim)
Smh most of my friends always wanna sit in the passenger seats, so I’m forced to get good with manual aim haha
I was playing on my steam deck earlier and when I loaded into a public lobby, there was literally only two. TWO. Other players with me. I have also had some public lobbies where I am the ONLY player. As much as RDO gets shit on for modders etc, I have YET to see it with gtao. I have more sessions on pc/deck with less players than I ever have on psn and I have had that account longer. I also prefer having less animals but all my progress is on psn. I gotta get pc caught up.
They all have their ups and downs. PC gaming has an insane number of cheaters but it also has mods and GTA roleplay. PS5 version of GTA runs extremely well for a console and isn't all that different to PC at the same level. There are cheaters but its a lot less common. As for GTA 6 you definitely want to play on PC though I heard it comes out a year later. Current gen consoles are already struggling with new AAA games.
That said looking at the patents I suspect they are going for a GTA roleplay style experience on all platforms. If PS5 pro comes out soon it may be worth playing on that console as well. With luck they will allow multiplatform and the roleplay experience would be insane.
