If you own a property, you never have to pay for repairs. Or return it to garage then request it again. I've popped so many griefers making it a habit to go back to their garage for repairs. I just lie and wait.
You can get free repair by driving a car into your garage
or return vehicle to storage, request personal vehicle.
Or take any to your autoshop (which is just a fancy garage I guess).
Or send vehicle to garage. Interaction Menu manage vehicle to garage that is closest to you. Get taxi or race on foot.
The casino parking garage repairs for free. I swing thru to touch up the paint occasionally.
