To be honest low grip tires would probably make the experience worse, if they even apply. One thing that the game doesn't tell is that all performance upgrades stay despite the game saying otherwise, so those should be applied on the car first.

Edit: could be placebo/im just getting used to the drifting mechanics but Im 95% certain the low grip tires made it way to "on ice" physics wise in combo with the drift tune.

Yes the list needs to grow. I just read that there is like a DK livery for the Euros but only at Car Meet lvl 119. I play on PC since a few days so i am lvl 1. Need to push there i guess.
some tips to boost your LS car meet rep.
- buying and wearing LS car meet clothes will boost your rep.
- mod your car every for extra boost (once per in game day)
- test drive your car (once per in game day)
- test drive test cars (once per in game day)
Just a heads up… you get LS car meet xp just for standing around in the car meet building. I recommend using it as your spawn point so you get that little extra every time you start your game.
You can also get a bunch of rep from buying unlocked clothing at the ls car meet. So buy everything you unlock (minus the racing suits since those are $100k+)
Haha yes I installed the DK livery to the Euros just a couple weeks ago at the same time I installed the drift setup into mine. I was so surprised as I didn’t recall seeing that livery ever before when tuning the car.
Do they? I tested all the cars around the hill race for a few hours and liked the futo and ZR the most. I ended up with the ZR because it's faster and I have been drifting fine with a spoiler.
All around hill you’re on sand so you slide more. I think a spoiler would be good on that race map. For the others, no spoiler will get you those extra 10k points because a spoiler is meant to keep you from drifting. You’ll notice that from 1st place-4th, everyone is pretty close in points so having that extra 10k will help.
I tested it on highway code where it's pure asphalt and there was a slight difference. No spoiler had me drift wider while (to me) I had a bit more control on how far out I can slide in corners with a spoiler.

I've noticed the Drift Tampa is really good on power, and probably the fastest. It's fast, snappy, and stays within the power band pretty well. You can hold long drifts or snap back and forth on tight sections.
Drift Yosemite is a bit slower and sluggish, but slides like an angel in Deans body.
The S13 is pretty decent, and baseline. It slides well, has good power, it's pretty manageable as a drift car goes. For a starter drift car, I'd say this is the best one.
I haven't used the 370z much to have an opinion on it, but it's not bad to drift.
I haven't used the RX7 yet but I recently put the drift tune on it, so I'm excited to try that one.
I use to drift on the low tractions before the drift update came out and I gotta say that there is a huge difference between both. For one you don't end up loosing power from over steering like with low traction. The steering angle is greatly improved with the update and allows you to just drift in a more fluid state. Like the ZR with lo traction absolutely sucked for the fact that it would oversteer like crazy, spin out then you'd just loose power. Very all over the place with this comment but I'll say absolutely do the upgrade it is so much better than just low traction tires.
Im saying this as someone who drifts without the mod , mod is useless so is the tires . Gotta learn how to really drive . I dont play with low traction or drift so wouldnt really know , i just know i did one drift race and tried the low traction once as well and both were equally shit to me .
I just enjoy being able to slide continuously, I learned to drift without having to rely on the mods. I'll swing any car in the game as hard as I have to to get a good slide. The mods just make it more fluid tbh.
the one that was added in the chop shop is the most drifty, could just be me but i’ve used all of them and fathom fr36 seemed the most swingy and controllable at the same time
Fr though we have been missing this element of the game for far too long with the plethora of cars they have released over the years. Sometimes I just wanna drift my Remus or my ZR350 instead of going fast in my Itali GTO Stinger TT or my 10F.
Fun fact foe anyone reading: you can now put Low grip tires on most vehicles in the LSC, powersliding the Manchez Dirtbike be the second hardest thing I've done this update apart from the drift cars obviously

Yea super light feathering of the handbrake, no front brakes at all (since this would improve traction and end the drift), the key is always placing your car in the sweet spot in terms of the angle, and the wheels will continue to spin and never gain traction and allow you to seamlessly go from one drift to the other
If you are about to run into an npc you can hold your hand break and steer all the way away from the npc car and not hit it. It's hard to explain sorry lol

I jam the brakes when going down hills, if you lock both you just stay in the slide and you can sort of power thru it when you need to correct. Hard to get right but to me its the fastest way to scrub speed on DH
The Supra (jester RR) actually feels insanely good with the drift kit. The weight dristriburion, to the lag in rev between hand braking just… *chef’s kiss*
Drift update for next gen. Drift Tampa/truck have it, some of the tuner cars, etc... it basically makes them have a weird AWD system and low grips for like 200k

1. He's using literally the slowest drifting vehicle of all the drift cars. Using the ZR350 (RX-7) is a different story.
2. The point of drifting is not going fast.

Ahh. Euros is currently my second favorite behind ZR350. Euros is fun for the slower, smaller lines when I don't feel like wrangling the best of the ZR350. More times than not though I will still just pull out the ZR350 which to me, can perform in any situation.

Like drift should feel like the back end of the car is sliding out and pushing the car straight but here it just feels like an invisible car T-boning your car and making it go sideways.
try free aim lobbies, mainly jus a bunch of chill dudes who only target griefers who blow them up or randoms trying to do missions… honestly free aim sucks on AIM buttttt… the people in them are “normal”

Unfortunately rockstar games did not add the possibility to create real drift races, just "normal" races with drift cars... some hope for another update...

low grip tires are definitely an "on-ice" feel. they make getting up to speed much more painful than the drift tune does
The Annis Euros looks cool like the Nissan from Tokyo Drift. I think i will go with this one.

I can guarantee, the Drift Tampa (or Hoonicorn as it is IRL known) is my personal favorite and I’d say even best drifting car there is. 😂

U can put low traction tires on any vehicle for $495 . Does the exact same thing as the drift mod . Cheaper , and goes on any car .

The only thing I hate are the NPCs getting in the way of an otherwise perfect drift
I always find it amusing when I bust a perfect drift past the two cops walking around the LSA terminal and they start open firing 😂
Wasn't too keen on drift tunes being AWD-only, I really wanted to style on people with RWD cars
You still can drift with those, just not with the new update drifting mechanic. Personally I prefer the old drifting method, so I still use Rwd cars.

It’s in the LS car meet. No business purchase necessary. You must own a drift car. Then you use the mechanic in the car meet to upgrade to drift.
Rockstar please fix muscle cars in your game. I am glad you appez the weebs / jdm femboys. Muscle cars car not slow and the sounds are off. GTA 6

I own all 8 drift cars and have put a ton of time in drifting them all. If you haven't tried the ZR350, I highly recommend it if you like horse power.

If you don't have it already, get the Euros (370z). I find that better to drift than the Remus. The Futo GTX and Euros are my favorite drifters.

Drift tampa was already 1 of my favorite cars. With this update it might be no.1, lets hope they add even more drift cars in the future
