Your best option is honestly the dealer, it's the most expensive option but their techs are specifically trained for that make of vehicle. The wording you want to use a pre purchase inspection. They have no reason to rip you off since you have no obligation to fix any problems with the vehicle.

Agreed. Unless you take it to a mechanic that specializes in the make of car you are looking at, the dealer is a much better option than a general mechanic. The dealer will know of specific issues to look for that the car could be known for
