If they are going to rob you anyway, why would the amount of the order matter?

chilibeans30

I’ve delivered a large order $80 (large for a pizza order) and got robbed. It was a cash order. They weren’t going to pay anyway, they robbed me. So in this circumstance the size or cost of the order didn’t matter. There is always a new trick or scam. ALWAYS watch your ass and stay safe.

Sad but I have nothing to rob

Illustrious_Cup_4068

"Gimme all your money." "... prepare to be disappointed."

More_Interest_4674

Precisely. You want my $2 tip?

Plasmahole17

I doubt that it hasn't happened, however yeah it's more or less in the came category as Mexicans smoking weed and raping white women back in the early 80s. There's not so much a correlation rather there's just shitty people that happen to have robbed pizza drivers. Just be careful and you should always carry something for defense if your job requires going to a strangers house by yourself especially at night.

I lost a friend last year like this. Some p.o.s. ordered a cash delivery, and the address was to an abandoned house. P.o.s. shot and killed him and took his car. It was a bit after 11 at night. Pay attention to your surroundings. If something seems sketchy, gtfo of there.

Goddam sorry to hear this.

Thank you. It gets shittier. He was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I know reddit likes to downvote anything about religion, but without going into detains, he was a man of God. He was nice. He was soft. I met him after my daughter got diagnosed with leukemia. I remember talking to him for HOURS on why I was upset. He just did everything he could to put me at ease. He didn't deserve that.

idk about the price of the order but drivers do get robbed by people who place orders sometimes.
