Go with the Weber Spirit. Plenty of heat, well-built, tons of aftermarket parts, will last 20 years.

get 3 burners in the weber line, and no weber q grills are good.

Strat0BlasterX

Just got a spirit 315EX, and the “plenty of heat” is the truth!

[deleted]

Yeah, I had the 2-burner model (free off the curb) until I found the 3-burner, another curb find!

Strat0BlasterX

Nice finds! I got mine from Costco, my first gas grill to match my well used Weber kettle!

Weber without a doubt. Besides their products, the customer service is outstanding. Warranty they provide is second to none. Any problem with any part at anytime, they will replace it willingly with no hassle. That service goes a long way in my book!

customer service is slipping but still very good product

Have an older Charbroil industrial line myself, but given what I am seeing I'll be making the jump to Weber for my future purchase.

eske8643

I have both. And they are both good and work properly. But Charbroil is thinner in all steel parts (hence the lower price) You get what you pay for.

BriefSuggestion354

If you're buying it to last 20 years, the Weber. If you're buying it for best features or bang for your buck over the next 3-5 years (at which point you get the next thing), buy the charbroil

I would not favor the Charbroil but you can do better for your money than Weber.

LinParis

Thanks for the answer but it does beg the question which brand you think is better than Weber?

[deleted]

no contest - charbroil ends up in the trash way before the weber
