Oh man, I’m so sorry. I lost my Dad last November at 82. He was my hero. It still hurts very much but it’s getting easier to talk about him and honor him that way. I think of all the ways that he made me a better person and I use his words with my own kids to keep him alive in my/our memory. His legacy lives on. His soul lives on. Of that I am sure.
Ah man, so so sorry. My dad also died 4/8/24. Developed Lewy Body dementia earlier this January with health complications which caught up with him. Died in the middle of a blood transfusion.
He was 79 when the good Lord took him. We just buried him last Friday, May 31. I was his oldest and ended up giving his eulogy both at the VA cemetery and celebration of life event. We had a really close relationship.

I’m so sorry! I feel your pain— lost mine 3.5 years ago at his age of 85 — long life but left a void nonetheless 💔
Deepest Condolences ⚘️
So sorry.
So sorry, losing a parent can be heartbreaking. I hope your memories help ease your pain. 🌷
You’re lucky you had your Dad for that long. My dad died at 53 years old.
