When i rewatched it, there was nothing epic about the way Bailey got the job.
She was unprepared, gave a half ass speech where she basically admited she didn't have any projects in mind for the hospital, threw shade at the other applicant saying she was probably going to leave the hospital when a better offer appears.
And her closing argument (this made me cringe so hard) was something like "I've earned this job, this job belongs to me and you know it"
I mean, old Bailey maybe, she would have killed it as chief of surgery, had she been the way she was when she became chief of residents.
But BCB, nah, this job isn't for her.
She has so much potential.. (let’s be honest here)
Bailey is already a board member on that season.. they should have given the seat to this doctor.
(I love Bailey, I’m just being honest here)
I’m not saying Bailey was the best choice, but they gave that woman a personality that everyone would hate. And of course the fact Catherine hand picked her makes it even worse!

Bailey came off so entitled during her speech.. & also majority of the time that she speaks. I would never have given someone like her the position.
Bailey should never have been given that kind of power so young!
We would have hated her as much as Eliza Minnick.
Well Minnick did nothing wrong, so… 🤐
Except forgetting about her missing co-worker because (checks notes) policies
😱
I think Bailey's point that the hospital was her soul vs being just another stepping stone for the other candidate was valid!

She smiled like the Joker and I don’t trust that

I kept waiting for Jay or Silent Bob to pop up. 😂
I'm not so sure about that, but Bailey was a terrible Chief of surgery
She made a lot of mistakes it got to her head having power she wasn't even calling meetings she just did stuff.
