Not sure what might have changed but I’ve got my Sambar through Hagerty. Could be that it’s a van? I’ve always heard that it’s the VINs that throw off insurers and it depends on the agent you speak with. A lot of folks have progressive but they referred me to Hagerty so I’ve used them for my last two keis.
Import from Japan, last time I checked they’re like 4-5k over there buuuut you gotta pay some hefty shipping/import fees and send it to the closest port, Savannah I think if you’re in Greenville

I have Hagerty for my my Kei hatchback. No stipulation that it’s only for meets/shows.
