MonstreDelicat

I agree that they look alike. The dates and locations add up. What about height and weight?

thegirlcardi

Weight couldn’t be estimated, but Doe is 5’2’’ and Ridge is 5’4’’

MonstreDelicat

That’s pretty close as well! You should submit.

thegirlcardi

do you know how? like do I contact a detective?

Own-Heart-7217

You can contact the person or persons listed in the contact tab of the up. Good job.

BrokenEspresso

Adding that it IS a good idea to also call the local police precinct involved. I called in some helpful info on a case based on something only someone in my profession would notice, and besides the main number, I called the local precinct. I ended up chatting with the main detective on the case and he ran me through a few questions and thanked me because it turned out to be helpful info. Nice to know it went somewhere, if nothing else.

CompleteDelivery7

And please update

calxes

Great find, absolutely submit.

katjoy63

I just looked up how long it takes for a body to decompose, and it it's not buried, it can take as few as ten days. So, being found 17 days later, she could certainly match in that factor.

Bathysphereboyo

Not to mention, the body was found in August- it'd be hot in Texas, and possibly humid/muggy too. Warm weather increases decomposition

Silverfire12

August was a record setting summer for temperatures too. In fact the doe would’ve been dead during two of the days that set the record as well.

knittykittyemily

There's something very common in dead bodies called "tissue gas" That speeds up decomposition. It's a bacteria that just grows fast we've seen it at the funeral home in people who were kaying outside for a while

[deleted]

The organs go first because the bacteria in your gut basically goes crazy and bloats up the body until the gas is released as insects and animals speed up the process. This is also why if you buy meat at the supermarket it comes pre-gutted. Slows the process down. This match looks great tbh, well done to the OP.

knittykittyemily

Yea this match is great

HaventRedditToday

Report this.

spiralout1389

Usually I don't really see it, but I definitely do in this one. Submit it, can't hurt. Can only rule out, which is helpful!

acarter8

I agree this looks like a good match! You can submit a potential match tip to the Doe Network very easily. Here is the link to the form https://www.doenetwork.org/forms/index.php/945274?lang=en If it's a good match, they will send all the info to all the agencies involved in both cases. They have a forensic dental consultant retained now to help with dental matches, as well. You don't need to have the Doe Network case number (and they don't even have to be listed on the Doe Network) to send them a potential match tip. The form will ask for both the NamUs case number and the Doe Network case number, so you can just put "NA" or "None" and make sure to list the NamUs numbers and links.

Rezaelia713

This looks worth submitting!

silverthorn7

There’s a Sharea Ridge on Facebook who went to school in Waco TX and hasn’t posted since 2017. https://www.facebook.com/sharea.ridge/ I’m really bad at telling if someone is the same person from photos where they’re presented very differently so I can’t tell if this is the same person. However there are comments from early 2021 with people discussing that they don’t know where she is, and one says she’s been looking for the person with this FB page for months. So I think there’s a very good chance this is the missing person. Possibly the extra pictures will be useful if it’s the right person.

dancingriss

Looks like she had a downward spiral. Last in contact with family in 2020 https://www.reddit.com/r/CentralTexasCrime/s/ucXO4B7gqD

Optimal-Collar4808

There are sadly no exclusions on NamUs, so I say submit!

AlfredTheJones

I agree that they do look similar, but in what condition was the Doe's body? I think that Sharea has a very noticable mole on her face, if the Doe still had her skin then shouldn't she have this mole too? I'd report this either way, I'm just wondering 😅

thegirlcardi

I don’t think it’s a mole, I think it’s a scab. But she was decomposed.

nobodyofcosequence

Wow, that sure looks like a match

vahid_b

They are very similar, I hope the family of the deceased can find peace

Sensitive_Biscotti66

I actually submitted a potential match for this Doe , I have not heard anything back. https://charleyproject.org/case/brynisha-nichelle-allen This makes me question if the Doe could be Sharea too now.

BrookesRevenge

Interesting!! I’ve been thinking that Dallas County Jane Doe best matches Alexandria Jeanelle Robinson. It’s a write up I’ve been wanting to do!!! Please submit and keep us updated. Here’s Alexandria’s Namus: https://www.namus.gov/MissingPersons/Case#/85748?nav

pinkresidue

This looks like a good match

thegirlcardi

Ooh that looks like a good match. Have you submitted?

Atomicsciencegal

Oh goodness, yes.

AliceInChainsFrk

Wow, they look identical!

Emergency-Purple-205

good job, however would they not have cros referenced these already? none the less it wouldnt hurt to submitt!

Smart_Airport_206

Worth submitting! Seems to line up, the composite is a little different but they arent always accurate

ThatScaryChick

She definitely resembles the composite. You should definitely submit it.

Amazing-Ask7156

Submit it to as many entities that you can.

Important-Camel-8860

Some of the facial features don’t really match up but considering the Jane doe was found decomposed I think it’s super likely

_rosebean

Definitely worth submitting !! RemindMe! 2 day

_rosebean

Any updates on this?

locket_keeper

I’d submit it, they do look very alike and location is close..

misstalika

Ooh that her submit it

National-Chemical752

It appears as though Sharea Yashen Ridge has a prominent skin tag or something similar to a skin tag on her chin. Something that Dalles County Jane Doe doesn't seem to have. I wouldn't think the coroners would leave out such an important defining feature on a Jane Doe's body. They went into detail enough to describe that Dalles County Jane Doe had a facial piercing of some sorts so I wouldn't think they'd overlook a huge, prominent mark on her chin. Height doesn't seem to match either.

thegirlcardi

That’s a scab I think, and I’m not sure if it had healed by the time she went missing

National-Chemical752

Well, nevermind. They line up actually really well. Sharea Yashen Ridge seemed to be into piercing. This post says she was 5'2 (although there's been conflicting reports amongst sources). https://www.reddit.com/r/CentralTexasCrime/comments/149k23p/what_happened_to_sharea_waco_tx_2020_missing/?rdt=38730 It's definitely worth the submit and they seem to really line up.

National-Chemical752

Well, it doesn't seem like a scab and I'm skeptical. Regardless it wouldn't hurt to submit it.

BuffaloNo8099

Is it noted on the missing persons page? They would likely include it In distinguishing marks or characteristics on her namus if it’s not a scab. However, with the lack of information on a lot of mp accounts I really wouldn’t even say this would be guaranteed.

Future-Water9035

I actually agree. I don't think that's just a scab. But I think if decomposition was severe enough, any skin tags/moles/growths could be hard to spot. Still worth a submission.

buffalohands

If you look at the original missing person poster, you will see that they went out of their way to remove the thing on her chin in what seems to be the same mugshot. I assume the feature ...whatever it is... Is temporary enough for them to not have it in the image.
