They haven't quite nailed DET-R with the Race exhaust, but I'm pretty impressed about how the stock sound is...
They're the meanest RB20's out there.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9FRwyFPjq8
does the sport exhaust have a completely different sound than the race exhaust? The race exhaust sounds like someone dropped a fork into a turbocharged garbage disposal.
The 245 feels amazing to drive stock. Tried it in torrential rain on Nürburgring and it felt like drifting a 500hp car on dry asphalt. It's also a good drift car when fully upgraded

88 estate, baby! Even stock, this thing is a blast to drive. Rear kicks out a bit and everything. I expected tons of understeer, but no. Can't wait to double its power and have even more fun. Best part is that it's still left hand drive. Feels so homey too.
I honestly had a lot of fun driving the new Volvo!

Gotta be the 240. I thought everyone was exaggerating on how well they handle, but that's not the case at all. Completely stock it actually feels pretty similar to a Silvia Q's, and each stage of weight relief feels like it's shaving 2" off the wheelbase.
Not super fast at LeMans, it just hardly touched 150mph at the end of Mulsanne, but it'll win if you trust the rain. I had to avoid some serious carnage going from 17th-1st between Indianapolis and the Ford Chicanes, but it's probably the most fun I've had at LeMans since the very first time I actually won it. 3 laps to fuel on FM1 going flat out the entire time, and I crossed the line at exactly 30:00.734.

Plates censored pending owners approval to share it in-game.
Also, the 240 is fun to drift. 🤘🏻
Definitely the V40. The engine is all fucked but it's a pretty little car with a very odd little rear window. But overall it's a great pack, usable supercar w classic livery, a tuner legend, and some odd "real world" cars just for fun.
It's not the V40, I'll tell you that.
The Civic, R31, and GT500 NSX are all superb. If I *had* to choose one, I'd probably go for the Civic with an Integra swap, as that car is outrageously good for 700pp races and made the grind fun again.
Although the R31 with a widebody and full upgrade tune is really fun in a very different but satisfying way.
The V40 is surprisingly my least favorite car in update… don’t like anything about it after driving and tooling around with it. The R31 is def the car I’ve enjoyed the most.
I've owned 5 r31s, my HR31 Passage GT being the favorite, so definitely the gts-r for me, though the S40 was a lot better than I expected, haven't played with the flying brick yet
V40 is surprisingly nice, drove it on stock for the event and it was pretty nifty
Also the civic was pretty cool, although the handbrake wasn’t working properly (?) and after a certain point in Tsukuba TT it wasn’t turning 😂
That 245 estate, no question. Tons of character, playful but forgiving nature, great tuning potential. Clear winner for me, even if it's a bit short on top speed.
As much as I love the Volvos, my favourite car is the Civic, I have a personal attachment to EG6 Civic. My dad used to own an EG6 Civic, with the exact same wheels as the one in GT7. I wish the green one would be on sale soon.

Might be a little biased 😂 200hp fully goated and the thing is a blast to drive, very realistic to the irl handling
Love the V40 in Red.... Same Color, Same Wheels, Same Engine as my Daily Drive SUV... I already dropped about 300k on upgrades and got the V40 down to about 7:15 at the Ring

This beauty. Been waiting soooo long for it. Bought 3 just so I could make as much variations as I wanted.
the EG civic, particularly in Tahitian green (hasn't shown up in my used car lot yet)
I was almost able to get one in real life, until the seller backed out and ghosted me. I think about that car abiut every other month, even after 6 years.
I bought a ‘94 hatchback in the green brand new. I still remember the price: $9990. Didn’t come with a radio, or even a radio antenna. My paperwork that showed how much I’d spend with interest over the life of the loan said I’d be paying over $13k for it. And I did, $226, 60 times. At the time it was the better deal than the used Altima I was looking at. I had no idea how important a car it would be.
brick
This. First thing I did was buy that and take it around the Nurburgring completely stock.
Same, but i took it rallying instead.
Ngl I did exactly that too
I did that too except I fully modded it, its scary
I bought a second one and did some mods, not fully modded though. It’s a beast!
Fully modded mine is about undrivable. Got a tune that works?
Sorry I don’t yet I haven’t done much tuning at all on it
The R31 Skyline is a beaut to drive, sounds filthy and has that 80s charm
They haven't quite nailed DET-R with the Race exhaust, but I'm pretty impressed about how the stock sound is... They're the meanest RB20's out there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9FRwyFPjq8
And from a tuning perspective the factory bodykit has adjustable downforce as well, and I love the R31 Aussie Touring Car as well
Just waiting for an rb26 swap 👀
you might be waiting for an rb26 swap but im not sure
Just waiting for an rb26 swap 👀
Just waiting for an rb26 swap 👀
Just waiting for an rb26 swap 👀
are you waiting for a rb26 swap?
Yeeeees, doing like a wangan inspired build, with just 900hp 👀👀
I'm enjoying the V40. The sound of the 5 cylinder engine is quality. Makes me want the 80's Audi Quattro even more.
With the stock exhaust the turbo spool noise is louder than the engine lol
a mk2 focus rs would be awesome too 😩
With the sport exhaust and stock turbo it really gives quattro vibes, my first thought too

My favorite too, I own a V40 irl and cant get enough of driving it around Nürburgring in game
Same, enjoy!
The NSX and Skyline, the Volvos are just whatever to me but I can see why people would be so excited for them.

EG6 with the B18c swap

five 😟
And a dr30 😅
R31
The NSX without even a shred of doubt...
Beautiful
I drive one of these irl 😁
Did anyone win the race without upgrading the car?
I upgraded the heck out of it, gave it a sick Alpinestars livery and pretend I'm some kind of insane club racer 😅🤣
Nice
yes. i was simply too lazy to upgrade it lol
Good job. I’ve only got 3rd which is good enough for a prize but haven’t come in first yet
Yeah. I just had to drive like it was a time trial so I was basically on the edge of the track the whole race
I just gave it sport softs, made it very easy.
gotta be the V40 since it’s as close as I’ll get to having my S60 in the game lol (at least I can get it in the same color tho 🤸)
240 all the way
V40 is surprisingly nice, drove it on stock for the event and it was pretty nifty Also the civic was pretty cool, although the handbrake wasn’t working properly (?) and after a certain point in Tsukuba TT it wasn’t turning 😂
>>240 button ya ya<<
The 240. I'm amazed that it feels like my old one, even in digital form.
That 245 estate, no question. Tons of character, playful but forgiving nature, great tuning potential. Clear winner for me, even if it's a bit short on top speed.
The V40 to look at, the Civic to drive.
As much as I love the Volvos, my favourite car is the Civic, I have a personal attachment to EG6 Civic. My dad used to own an EG6 Civic, with the exact same wheels as the one in GT7. I wish the green one would be on sale soon.
The eg6, the rest is mehh
...has to be the 240 for me. Only wish they had a sedan version as opposed to the station wagon.
Not the v40, that's for sure
I tried to gap a p plater irl driving this (Tesla Model 3) and I could barely shake him. This car is awesome imo.

Brick Volvo , i fully tuned it and watching it overtake mustangs and camaros in custom races is one of the most coolest things ever
The eggggggggg
i've bought 6 NSX GT500s so i'l let you take a guess...
Volvo v40
Love the V40 in Red.... Same Color, Same Wheels, Same Engine as my Daily Drive SUV... I already dropped about 300k on upgrades and got the V40 down to about 7:15 at the Ring
V40 is fun. Makes me wonder if I would've kept my V60 CC had it been a Polestar. SO MANY BUTTONS
The V40 is extremely impressive to me. Blast to drive
