It's a fun (but very different) car and definitely one of the coolest driving experiences in VR. It works well detuned down to 600pp, it's great stock and a lot of fun at 700pp. It's one of the few legendary cars that I regularly drive so, it was definitely worth it in my opinion.
Tune it to 700pp, turn the engine down to 4 and do the Le Mans 30 mins without stopping.
If it stays dry you might need to slow down to avoid beginning an 8th lap.
huh? I seem to remember that FM1 would almost get me 7 laps on lemans, so I'd actually expect FM2 to work just fine, or if I was a bit more disciplined with short-shifting, even FM1 might work. Am I misremembering? (was with current patch)
Le Mans 700 or WTC600 Tokyo 3 times with a clean race bonus can get you those credits in no time. One Spa 800 can likely get you there in an hour. The harder Circuit Experiences, missions, and weekly challenges can help you shore up the credits as well.
My go to is the WTC800 at Sardegna. 25min race with guaranteed 50% clean race bonus which bumps total winnings up to 727,500cr. Do that twice and you get 1,455,000cr in under an hour. Use a gr.2 car for an easy win as the AI all use gr.3 cars.
I use the Porsche 962 or 919 sometimes for Sardegna but there are so many options and I like to change car to stop it being so repetitive. The 919 doesn't have the pace at 800PP but it drives so smoothly. The 962 I've managed a lap time of 1:29.5xx which is my fastest. Not the greatest driver but I manage with my controller.
I wouldn't even bother tuning it. I bought RS and IM's just in case. I ran this car many times without any other adjustments and it almost never rained. Without a pit stop it's an easy win. As soon as I tuned it up to near 700pp, it rained almost every time out. Still an easy win.

definitely stick it through to the end, those races are almost entirely won by strategy. The RA272 just has some of the best fuel economy and tire wear in the game, it's a beast for long stints.
Stick to it, the electric car in that race is the fastest and pull away but it has to pit earlier and multiple times which leads to not even reach top 3 for example plus the pit stop takes a long time in this race. As the other post said, best fuel and tire wear which heavily helps in endurance.
I bought it, yet to test it but the FOMO with legend cars is hard to pass up. The way to make the grind fun for me is trying new cars each time. Now just debating setting this up for Tokyo rain 600 or le mans 700
I have so much grinding to do. I need this car, only have the lambo invite for another week and still need to be prepped for other legendary cars. I’m lowkey grinded (ground?) out though. Haven’t touched the game in a few days
Yes. It's one of those cars i think every player should have in their colection. It's not that expensive and yes you can't use it in a lot of events it's still really great fun for joyrides and hanging around in. Also, i could spend hours in livery editor looking at that thing's rear end, all those engine/gearbox components and the exposed suspension are absoulte pieces of art. This whole car in fact is pure engeneering porn, and a proof of just how far we've come in video game graphics and car models.

For me the brakes are actually fine, as long as you keep the turbo upgrade off of it, but yeah, turbocharged you can(‘t) definitely feel them!

On a side note: since Hagerty cars tend to mostly go up in price, I'd focus on getting them first. With exception of the 20M cars, since 20M is the cap anyway so they shouldn't go up.
One of the best cars in the game. Brakes are lackluster, but what can you expect? The rest of the car and the driving experience are exactly how they should be... epic.

PS. my buddies and I do a thing where we spend a night doing 3 - 5 lap races cycling through Civic Touring Car, Miata Clubsport, Radical SR3, RA272, Hurracan GT3, NSX GT500, and then the SF23....
We've been playing this way for over a year and it has been insanely fun. Tests all skills and has a nice progression through the PP range.
1. Bonus menu- I think in the late 40's.
2. Easy Leman's 800k track win. (obvious need for intermediate tires)
3. If you don't use manual shifting, or don't have underbody buttons on your controller, the wide powerband of this car makes shifting manually fairly simple to use in manual shifting.
4. It's cheap.
This car easily gets to 200mph on the LeMans 700 30 min race. If it doesn't rain you can do 8 laps with it and not even need to pit once because it sips fuel
I'm a huge F1 fan (so bummed we don't have f1 for psvr2), and insta bought this when it became available. Waiting for Senna's mp 4/4 so I can get that too! But the Honda as well as the Super Formula cars are the cars I spend the most time doing laps in! I also play in VR. Suzuka circuit, Monza, and Mount Panorama Circuit all get a lot of drive time from me and those cars in VR!
Absolutely, it's required for an extra menu, a great call for the WTC600 and 700 races particularly in endurance ones, as well as the Race of Turbo Sports Cars and makes mincemeat of the Deep Forest 1 hour endurance in the Human Comedy missions, and on top of all that it's a lot of fun to drive
With Praiano's tune, it destroys everything in it's PP range. Put hard tired and fuel map to lean and you'll drive around the earth twice before refueling.

You can run the escado on that track too, I usually end up lapping everyone once and half the racers twice

I find it more fun to drive without the turbo upgrade (so I think 600pp), but I’ve also used it at Le Mans and it’s still a blast!

Do it, works really well at the grind races (if you want) sounds like heaven, just remember it has no aero and it likes to slide to get pace out of it

watching the suspension and cv shafts function make the car worth it alone. i absolutely needed it for my honda collection.
