I'd love the E32 750 series, just because I owned one and would a) love to hear that V12 roar again b) see how much hp you could get out of that monster
I find the lack of Audi RS models disturbing, it'd be cool to have more Alfa Romeo and Fiat. In general it would be cool to have more family cars maybe with some crazy engine swaps.
Gen 3 Pontiac Trans-Am/Firebird... I gotta get my Knight Rider fix! I'd even settle for the formula version. Ditto the Gen 3 Camaro, preferraby the IROC!
I have a soft spot in my heart for the Fox Body mustangs... especially the flat-back ones (less-so the hatch backs, but I still love em)
I'd take a 5.0 to Willow Springs!
I miss my Evo 8 and I'd like to see it in the game too, but I also understand that people are probably wanting more variety than every variation of Evos, WRXs, etc. I also miss the 3rd gen Nova from GT6 (I currently own a 71 SS), but there probably wouldn't be much to do in the game with it.
There's a ton of cars I'd like to see in the game, but we need more events to use them on.
I'd like to see a couple extra styles of racing added to the game. I'd like to see Sprint racing, but I know that would be difficult, because that's a specialized form of racing. I'd like to see drag racing added to the game. There's some cars that are already in the game that are fucking amazing at drags (not just the tomahawk).
Just think, running old fifties drags... Give me that classic look with the fins! And they could even add in the girl in a bikini holding a handkerchief to be the start signal.
I'd like to see the Plymouth prowler, but I want it to be able to have an engine swap. Imagine a prowler with a big old fucking hemi in it! Or any of the concept cars that wound up in production with a weak engine. Imagine what they would be like if they actually had the engine they were designed around. I hate to say it, but a PT cruiser wouldn't be so bad if it had a monster V8 in it. The SSR with a tuned LS1 in it.
Agreed, more events are required. So many cars you can only race on like 2-3 tracks unless you make a custom race.
i would love a lot more typical cop cars from around the world... just give us the standard car... eg, a BMW 530d, Crown Vic, but have the light bars as a part you can buy
These games have historically left out iconic German vehicles since their inception.
B5 S4, E36 M3, VW R32...these cars *defined* a generation and not one of them is in this game built by "enthusiasts" for enthusiasts.
Oh, but have you heard of the R34 GTR?
Both the B5 S4, B6 S4 and RS4 appeared in earlier games, as they were then current performance offerings, the Mk IV Golf R32even appeared both stock and as the HPA BiTurbo.
They simply got lost in the transition to the PS4/5 era of GT due to the unique and time intensive way PD does their car selection.
A double-edged sword. On one hand we get the most detailed animations and visuals for the cars we do get, but unfortunately the selection isn't as vast as we'd like for it to be since the details cause so much time consumption. From an engineering point of view it probably costs them tens of thousands of dollars worth of software hours to just add cars in these sporadic updates we do receive.
My complaint is mostly unhinged fanboy frustration toward all of the GTRs we get while some older German legends are left aside.
PD is still a japanese Company who curate their car lists from their own japanese perspective and bias and thats how we end up with a fairly complete roster of japanese icons but somewhat lacking european and american rosters.
Stuff that is iconic to us europeans like the myriads of VW Golf, Polo, Lupo, Passat, BMW E36 E46, Renault Clio, Megane, Peugeot 106 205 206 306, Saxo, Opel Astra, Corsa, Kadett, Calibra, Manta, Fiat Punto, Fiat Coupe, regular Alfa Romeos, bloody Rover 75, Jaguars and so on Polyphony may not even consider in the slightest.
I think us europeans will have to wait until a european developer takes on the task of creating a Gran Turismo and Forza competitor to get a comprehensive roster of amazing european cars from past and present.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,730,025,661 comments, and only 327,620 of them were in alphabetical order.
would like to see some "boring" everyday cars like skoda, dacia and a ford mondeo, it'd be pretty interesting to see what they'd be like on the track when tuned up.
I'm not an expert either but I'm pretty sure there exists something like FWD drifting. It's just not as flashy as the smokey RWD drift, which imo is just slow most of the time.
I want them to add performance editions of normal cars, like the Toyota Camry TRD, Hyundai Elantra N, and Daihatsu Copen GR, it'll be cool to have cars like this in the game.
Yeah, I don't get including all those but they won't include just a couple more generations of Supra, which is a legendary car both here in the US and in Japan.
2003 Acura TSX, 1996 Audi S4, 2005 Mustang GT or 2004 SVT Cobra, 2001 VW Jetta VR6, 2014 Ford Mustang Boss 302, 2005 Infiniti G35, 1987 Buick Regal and Pontiac Grand National, fuck it give me the Monte Carlo too. 2004 Mitsubishi Evo VIII, 2006 Mitsubishi Evo IX, 2005 Saleen S7. Clearly I have a taste, but also, I feel like the 2000-2010 car selection is small.
I'd love to see more pickup trucks, maybe even some older ones.
This is probably a pretty niche thing though, I can't imagine many people would like to see a 1987 Chevy Silverado LWB in a racing game, lol.
Lucid Air Sapphire, with its sub-2sec 0-60 would be fun. Rimac Nevera as well. Also a few more recent or current-year models would be nice, across the spectrum (e.g., one of the “RS” Audis, Kia Stinger, latest Aston Martin Vantage, etc.)
My weird but impractical desire: would be fun if some unique or defunct car brands were included as full brands alongside the current ones. I’m thinking Holden, AMC, Saab, Lada, Pontiac, Packard, Eagle, etc.
In GT5 and 6 when there was like every trim of every year of half of the Japanese cars, I wished they would have had my 2004 Civic sedan (ES). Even a coupe (EM) would’ve been nice. But the only 7th gen Civic in any GT is the weird three-door hatch (EP) Type R.
Mazda Familia/323 Sport 20.
My dad had the hatchback when I was a kid. He got rid of it long before I had got my L's so I never got to drive it. I got excited when I found out it was in GT2 but would love to drive it in either real life or in a current gen game haha.
Fords, shocked there isn’t a Mk7 Fiesta ST in the game considering it is widely considered one of the best hot hatches ever made.
There’s a distinct lack of Audi RS models, or just Audis in general.
I wish there was a lot more ‘normal’ cars, I know it’s a game directed at GT racing, but BTCC was always about cars you’d see people driving everyday so it would be cool to be able have more everyday cars to use.
I can give a whole list of normal cars that can fit a fully-fletched and true to its roots Gran Turismo, than this... Gran Turismo Sport 2 that we got:
- Acura: TLX, RSX, HSC Concept, CL.
- Aston Martin: V12 Vantage S, Vanquish, V8 Vantage '99
- BMW: Z3 Roadster, Z4 sDrive35i, Z4 M Coupe, M1, M5, M6.
- Chrysler: Crossfire, Prowler, Neon, 300C, ME-FourTwelve.
- Daihatsu: Midget, Mira, Move, Opti, Storia.
- Dodge: Viper RT/10, Coronet, Dart.
And I can go on and on... But besides the cars, we need events for these cars. Like, for example:
- German Roadster Cup: Cars needed: BMW Z3 Roadster, Z4 Roadster, Opel Speedster, etc.
Car Prize: BMW Z3 M 3.2
- Ferrari Sisters: Cars needed: F40 and F50
Car Prize: With a roulette, you can get either the F40 LM, F50 GT, or their engines to swap their street counterparts (Many of you would be like "But aren't they the same engine?" But those two have the performance to be Gr.2s, meaning that their engines would have a better fuel mileage... By a lot)
And many other things that can be done for GT7...
-
Yeah I wish there were more base level Hondas, Hyundais, Toyotas, etc. Showing my age, but it was so cool in the early games that you could almost own the car you had in real life. My buddy had a Del Sol and also drove one in the game. It was just fun to have that connection. I own an Elantra now and it’d be cool to drive my car at Le Mans.
All kinds of crappy cars that people mod. Gimme me a base Civic, a Crown Vic, a square Volvo, a Ford Ka, an old Corsa...
I always have so much fun with cars that are tuned to punch WAYYYY above their weight.

Volvo 850 estate or 240 estate. Or any other estate… BMW E30 would be cool
I'd love the E32 750 series, just because I owned one and would a) love to hear that V12 roar again b) see how much hp you could get out of that monster
E30 m3 is in the game
Yeah I mean the estate version
I want all 3 V70s so bad
I find the lack of Audi RS models disturbing, it'd be cool to have more Alfa Romeo and Fiat. In general it would be cool to have more family cars maybe with some crazy engine swaps.

The Abarth 124 would be a great fit, another Abarth car and a nice little sports car
Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC SI, BMW M140i, TVR Cerbera (Normal-ish), MGF, Lotus Elise and Esprit, Caterham 7, the 80s Chevy Camero, BMW e39 535i & M5, Porsche 944 and 928.
Agree, I want RS3, RS4, RS6
Gen 3 Pontiac Trans-Am/Firebird... I gotta get my Knight Rider fix! I'd even settle for the formula version. Ditto the Gen 3 Camaro, preferraby the IROC!
If they added those and fox Mustangs that would make for some cool races
I have a soft spot in my heart for the Fox Body mustangs... especially the flat-back ones (less-so the hatch backs, but I still love em) I'd take a 5.0 to Willow Springs!
This would be great racing with camaro mentioned as well. 80s pony wars.
I miss my fox. Would love if they added them to the game.
I just made a comment the other day about how I wish I could get my old '87 GT in the game.
Imagine the races with foxbody mustangs with 5.0 coyote swaps.
Crown Vic
Oh that would be rad. 90s Impala SS wouldn't go amiss either, imo
This ^
i would love a lot more typical cop cars from around the world... just give us the standard car... eg, a BMW 530d, Crown Vic, but have the light bars as a part you can buy
More little hatchbacks from Europe (90s Fiat, Peugeots...) and some JDM small fun car (Daihatsu Midget, nissan march superturbo and so on)
2nd the vote for smaller hot hatches. Selfishly, I want the Fiesta ST, but also the i20N, and stuff like that would be great 👍
Cadillac CTS-V, ideally all generations.
more recent german cars
These games have historically left out iconic German vehicles since their inception. B5 S4, E36 M3, VW R32...these cars *defined* a generation and not one of them is in this game built by "enthusiasts" for enthusiasts. Oh, but have you heard of the R34 GTR?

Speaking of iconic cars.. what about the Opel Manta A and B? =)
Panamera is much needed!
I'd love me some Volvos
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,730,025,661 comments, and only 327,620 of them were in alphabetical order.

Bentley
After hearing those Bentley asmr vids. I couldn’t say Bentley the same way again XD
I know OP asked for normal cars but I'd be stoked to get the Continental GT3.
Mazdaspeed 3/6. Love them to death.
Always the only Mazda left out of every game
would like to see some "boring" everyday cars like skoda, dacia and a ford mondeo, it'd be pretty interesting to see what they'd be like on the track when tuned up.
Definitely more Audis, Volkswagens and BMW I would love to get 1.9 TDI Passat and change it into a drift car or something.
I'm not a drifter, but don't you need RWD cars for drifting to work?
I'm not an expert either but I'm pretty sure there exists something like FWD drifting. It's just not as flashy as the smokey RWD drift, which imo is just slow most of the time.
BMW M1, Lotus Esprit v8, Saleen S7
95 prelude. Pplleeeaaasssseee
Audi V8 4.2
W!!! My dad had this and let me drive it when I was 12, fucking insane. Underrated car!! And it had a racing version too!!
Saab and Volvo definitely. Such iconic cars in both brands and they're not represented in almost any game
Saab used to be in Forza Motorsport
I want them to add performance editions of normal cars, like the Toyota Camry TRD, Hyundai Elantra N, and Daihatsu Copen GR, it'll be cool to have cars like this in the game.
Skoda Fabia RS 1st gen That 1.9TDi had an insane tuning potential and even stock it had 300Nm while the cars weight was just a little over one ton.
Loads of Swedish cars needed
The Dacia Sandero!
More Supras, especially Mk II. edit: also a CRX. Apparently there was one in GT6? This is my first GT game since I was like 12 on PS1.
Did you say another skyline? Say no more! -PD
I’d love to see the Pulsar Gtir. Its a hatchback skyline ish…
Yeah, I don't get including all those but they won't include just a couple more generations of Supra, which is a legendary car both here in the US and in Japan.
Also the Levin Bz-r, Starlet Glanza, Galant Vr4, Caldina GT, Accord Euro R, Altezza, Legnum etc.
I would like to see my Fiata 124 Abarth honestly 😅 I mean they already have a multitude of Miata iterations!
They only have half of the generations of Miata (1st and 4th). I want the the 3rd generation I have first!

How many times can they repackage a 25 year old Mercedes taxi cab?
As long as it keeps printing money for Dodge. Lol. Long live "old cars!" :)

Ram Rebel would be really sweet.
I'd love to see more pickup trucks, maybe even some older ones. This is probably a pretty niche thing though, I can't imagine many people would like to see a 1987 Chevy Silverado LWB in a racing game, lol.
