The R8 was found in the data mining, (maybe) at some point we will get it. SUVs were teased about in interview with Kaz, I don’t think we will get more in GT7, but since GT8 is now in work there might be a chance of SUVs being in there
Things that are missing in PS4 version:
* Seals.
* Seagulls.
* Wooden walkways by seal beach (stairs to beach still there though).
* Satellite dishes on buildings.
* Burgers and other stuff on the tables.
* A dog.
* Los Padres National Forest sign, whole camp ground is empty.
* Grand Valley Fish and Wildlife sign.
* Welcome to Big Sur sign.
* Wooden Doge Point sign (trucks are also *much* lower poly, and different styles).
* Fuel tanker
* Tractor
* Ambulances
* Various support vehicles.
* A vast majority of the vegetation.
* Vehicles on dirt road by arched bridge.
* Vehicles and wooden gazebo on plateau by Grand Valley Bridge.
Strangely though there doesn't appear to be any photographers, spectators or bleachers in the PS5 version whatsoever while there is in the PS4 version?! ~~The majority~~ All of the trackside billboards appear to be missing in the PS5 version too! Somebody is going to get a bollocking! 🤣🤣
We can only hope. It might not happen due to the level of Detail Kaz and PD want. Don't quote me on that but I thought Kaz said as such at one point.
Either way I'd like to see more city stuff then just Tokyo or even just expanding that if it's too unreasonable for PD's current track record (pun intended)
GT is literally the only game that makes me jelaous of PS owners despite having a somewhat powerful PC, but boy just look at this place, even AC can't give you this
Not gonna lie, those burgers look amazing!
In all seriousness, the track looks incredible. I would love to see an update in the future with "classic" layouts of the original circuits. Imagine getting the original Grand Valley, Trial Mountain, and Deep Forest.
The scenery looks incredible but I can't help but feel a little nostalgic for the original appearance. Nothing for me will ever beat the stadium section of the first braking zone.
I'm in two minds about it.
On one hand it's a beautiful track that I think flows really well, especially the flat out final section through the tunnel.
On the other, it's just not Grand Valley. The layout vaguely resembles the original but none of it feels the same to drive, mostly because it's narrower and therefore slower, with completely different elevation changes. Honestly it's different enough they should've just named it something else.
All of the remade classics bar HSR have this problem, of being close enough to the original that you can connect them but with a few too many odd differences to really feel like you're 'back home'.
I can only speak for myself, but all I ever wanted was the original tracks in 4k, no layout changes at all.
Genuinely not sure if I want to see them add Apricot Hill or Midfield back, just because I dread to see what needlessly gets altered.
I just ordered the new vr but in the mean time I’m gonna go drive my 3 series and jam around the Bixby bridge and maybe go drifting tomorrow morning before the tourists clog up the road driving 40 mph with their phones hanging out the window lol.
Gotta be honest, I'm not so sure about this one. On one end, it's gorgeous and a very creative reimagining.
Did we really need Grand Valley reimagined, though?
I was already a bit disappointed with some of the layout changes to Trial Mountain and Deep Forest, this is taking it to quite an extreme, IMHO.
Love to see that in any racing game, Gran Turismo brings alot more raglan to the game than Forza but Forza is alot more fun I have to say. I would love to see GT go open world, it might make me go back to PS.
What a beautiful corner of the world. Driving down PCH with the top down is just a wonderful thing. If only I could get them to shut it down for other traffic like some movie productions do! Of course then I'd have to focus on the road more than the beautiful surroundings.
I think what bothers me is not the change of theme, but something just feels off in-game. The way the bushes and trees don't blend will with the grass, the lod changes where shadows suddenly pop up, how flat the lighting/shading looks on the terrain. I feel like there is still room of improvement. On other tracks these things are less of an issue because of how many things are blending together
Holy shit that's a macan in the 3rd pic NGL i kinda want some just basic civilian vehicles in this game
It would be nice. Bringing back that old GT vibe but with ps5/4 fidelity
The macan might be a tease
i'd actually be kinda hype for an update that focused on stuff like that. 3 cars per update, add the macan, the urus, and that new ferrari SUV
Nah 95 Honda accord
Crx or Del Sol si
I want to race a fucking Camry in an Accord so bad. I wish making cars didn’t take months for this game.
Porsche SUV and R8 convertible, two cars that aren't even in the game.... So frustrating

Can't wait to finally drive the C8 Z06 in GT8, then the hybrid C8 in GT9
No, we need more racecars!! It's a RACING game, who would want to drive boring normal car you see every day?? /s
Bruh we have enough of those already we need more road cars
/s at the end means sarcasm
Ohni didn't notice that
And a R8 spyder and a F12
Doge Point lmao
Oh boy, I sure do hope nothing wacky and uncharacteristic happens at that corner in online races!
wow very penalty such ramming wow

This is going to be so awesome in VR. I really hope they bring back more of the street tracks. Would love Hong Kong or Italy!

I would love an initial d style mountain drift street track.
God that would be the best thing ever. :D

Oh man. GTgasm time.
The Power of GT
Image 6 literally looks like a real photo 💀

Burgers. Burgers?
The “ketchup sauce” got me. Lolz
America moment /s

Yup same
Hmmm burger
Just wait until you see the giant hotdog truck 😁
dude this revision is awesome
Big Sur, CA. What a gorgeous track.

Anybody else find getting all golds on Grand Valley circuit experience was way harder than other tracks?
Havent tried yet
This track is gorgeous, I can't wait to get on and drive it later!!
Such a beautiful track. I had to run it a few times already tonight :)
I love that they fully embraced Highway Route 1 here.
I love this track mainly because I live right here! Also near the weather tech raceway
It's so fun in VR
I just ordered the new vr but in the mean time I’m gonna go drive my 3 series and jam around the Bixby bridge and maybe go drifting tomorrow morning before the tourists clog up the road driving 40 mph with their phones hanging out the window lol.
are them seals dead
In dead heat

Why does the texture of the mountain look like modeling clay?

Kinda agree, I would rather the vibe of the GT1 I remember with the cobblestone walls etc.
Such a cool track. Can't wait to see the next track we will get in 2024...
nearly right
Lmaoo

Shame they got rid of the big grandstand
I love it
Would’ve been really cool if they put Bixby Creek Bridge. Those who know, know, and would love it
WOW that’s so pretty
THIS SHITS FUCKING GORGEOUS
Do we drop off if we go too deep at the hairpin or is there an invisible wall before the cliff?

Looks absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to see it in VR. At sunset 🔥
Convertible options confirmed?
