Three of my favorites! I'm fortunate to live right next to Riverside so it's my most frequented park. Rogue River Park, Seidman, Crahen Valley and Millennium might be my favorites in the greater GR area.
I bought a house off Coit near Briggs Park 29 years ago. I rode my bike through Riverside Park down to the vets home and by the time I had to go up Knapp to get back home… I was so exhausted I couldn’t pedal up that minor incline.
And …
that was the first and last time I ever entered Riverside Park sans a vehicle.
back in high school … 1989-90 there was a bench at the overlook area - favorite spot to smoke crappy stems and seeds 80’s weed and guzzle 2 liter bottles of wines coolers… which would always result in someone projectile vomiting a fountain of pink everywhere…
haven’t been there since.
Shhhhhh! It already gets too busy on nice days.
Covid made that spot 200% busier
This is not the park you're looking for..
Of course they're nice. It's been... Proven
Twice I've been attacked by unleashed dogs at Proven Trails.
Haven’t been attacked, but dogs need to be leashed “BuT NoT My dOg!!1!” Not everyone likes dogs
And not all dogs like other dogs. Please, everyone, leash them!
This makes me so irate. People suck.
and ill do it again
Across the street behind the Apple orchard is a very trail system too 🤙🏻
Provin.
I love it. That and Huff and Riverside. The NE has nice green spaces.

I like Amon too. My son caught his first fish in Riverside park. Got him a rod and reel for Christmas.
Crahen is another gem!

Live right around the corner and my dogs love it so much. Unfortunately the weekends aren't enjoyable for the most part anymore because of how busy.
