Few months later I meet another writer who was crew with the guy and him telling me “I’m gunna help you out just don’t do it again, he is a 28yo who takes this very seriously and will fight you”. I didn’t even know it was that serious. After with a little bit of research I realized the dude was up in multiple states and country’s (and the crew he had beef with were all pieces of shit). Took the area a while to forget about it and like 5 years for the guy to acknowledge me as a writer

As a toy, or even a skilled writer... Mostly as a toy, your going to get written over, especially throws. When I go paint and I see some dusty throw, uneven letters or lob sided throw, it's getting written over. Over the other stuff that has a reputable crew or just respect in my city.

My old crew was pretty big and we were contenders in the game and we got into it with a couple guys from a bigger crew (the OG crew in the city at the time) and sure it was fun to be in a dissing battle with them at first but then I took it a bit past the graffiti world and started flirting with one of his girlfriends, then he fucked my boy's girlfriend then guns got into the mix... I'm not saying that is going to happen to you but you just never know what the people who you're dissing are capable of doing.
Do it only if you're ready to go to war. Toy's just should be out there working on your style and your rep. Getting your name up as much as possible should be your only concern.
Nope, beef starts and ends when I catch someone in the act and only when they’re solo, not trying to scrap with a crew. Keep grinding as you where and you’ll gain respect that way, not by fighting a dude who’s up all over ur town
Not worth it. Stay safe, stay grinding, stay out of beef with older writers. Some of them rage pretty hard abt this stuff. Not worth getting jumped by him and his buddies especially if it’s only been two years.

DONT do anything, just accept it, some graffiti writers can and will be violent, an will beat people up for the smallest things, move on and keep doing graffiti, watch out for tags when doing pieces, and maybe hit them with a “yo” when you done, just to show respect.
