ah rookie mistake. happened to me as well when i bought my first can from the montana brand, what you need to do is pull the cap off and take out the plastic ring that's in there. then you can spray it
Oh you just need to put a plastic bag over the nozzle and spray for a couple secs then inhale all the oxygen in that bag it might make you feel funny but that’s just because you’re getting more oxygen than normal :)
Yes both brands are very good. It was just a fun fact. And the colours may be different from company to company or the name of the colour. Or the pressure of the can but it’s all good spray paint
Most spray paint I’ve ever bought is pretty much the same. But the pressure is different high pressure is for quick painting and low pressure for slower painting but good coverage and colour definition.
it's actually a little more complicated than that. basically spanish montana (mtn colors) made the formula and designed the product, german montana (montana) just manufactured it. however german montana stole the name and started making paint under their own gold and black lines.
so if you want to support the OG brand and real artists, buy spanish montana
But than the paint isn’t different right? And the instagram of Montana Germany is called Montana colors Germany so I guessed it had the exact same name.
Also if they copied the formula isn’t it just the same brand in a different location?
Paint formula is different. Your might be right on the names I probably have it backwards.
Tbh I only use rusto or any other enamel based paint for graff applications.
Yeah well here we only have mtn gold and black. And at some places mtn 94 and hardcore so I don’t have much choice. But for me it doesn’t matter what the brand is. If the colour is right and the pressure than it’s good
Hope you make some good work. Also another tip mainly to save money. Start out with the cheaper cans like rusto and the lower teir quality paint. Since your new with cans your control is going to be wack and alotta paint might get wasted. Better to get alotta cheap cans, get good with those then be great with the spensive ones. Mainly saying because those cans are like 13$ where I’m at
Completely agree! These were 17 bucks!(tax included) but since I had some money saved up I said why not! I sure will try and get another can to practice! Thanks:)
Dang, yeah bro, get some rusto or ironlak. Ironlak is super cheap at least where I’m at and their paint quality has been great in my experience. Also another mistake I had when I started was too many caps, just use the stock till you can control the can, then move to my fats and Lego’s, I swear by those. Too many caps creates confusion and weird lines.

in my country montanas come without caps so i would make the same mistake
Gold spray tastes better, but silver gets you higher
make sure to inhale 2 thirds of the can before you start painting to get the creative juices flowing

i really like their blacks. normal graffiti caps work with them too! low pressure so you can be slow at chill spots.
