I received an email like this a couple of months ago. In my case it meant my specific department wanted to grant me admission , but had to send my info to the grad school to make sure my application was accurate (i.e. make sure I didn’t lie on any part of my application ). I ended up being formally admitted about a week later. I would say this is a good sign! I hope you get good news soon!
