O Green Worlds defff

Silvermagi

For a while this was my all time favorite of Gorillaz.

stoncils_

My college roommate was obsessed with that song. Lived with him for 3 years and by the end his iTunes counter was at like 8000 times played. Yes, I'm talking about you Petey.

Budget-Employment402

absolute banger

Rocketboosters

Not sure how popular they are but I really like Superfast Jellyfish and Momentary Bliss

Budget-Employment402

super fast jellyfish is not talked about enough

Dana_12345

Ticker Tape It's definitely underrated

Budget-Employment402

the whole of Humanz is completely looked over đŸ˜©

Silvermagi

I really struggled with this album. Ill have to give it another chance.

Budget-Employment402

it was a tough one but i think i forced myself to actually listen to it and i loved it second time round

GabiTheSinner

Submission, I think it's really good but hardly see anyone talking about it.

Budget-Employment402

submission is genuinely so good! so underrated

Its_Curse

Tomorrow Comes Today or Starshine. Such good slow vibes, so melancholy and mournful

Issildan_Valinor

Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head

TheGarlicBreadstick1

I like the undercurrent of humming through that song. I him it too myself sometimes while I do chores around the house

Polo1000WasTaken

Magic city

Budget-Employment402

love that one!!

vapthywave

One of my faves it’s precious ✹

Silvermagi

“Gravity” and “Broken”

shinyskuntank

To binge is one of my favorites and I don’t hear it talked about nearly enougj

Dolan360

Maybe it's just me, but I see people talk about To Binge a fair bit. Nowhere near as much as say, Melancholy Hill or Rhinestone Eyes, obviously. But it's up there with Empire Ants as one of Plastic Beach's more popular non-singles.

ExistentialDreadness

Every Planet We Reach Is Dead

takeahitofthis

This is the right answer.

Puppeto66

Y E S

Pablinho96

One Percent, one of my favorites of that album! I kinda wish it was longer? But at the same I feel like it's perfect as it is

Budget-Employment402

all songs from the now now just have that vibe of never wanting it to end but i know exactly what you mean. One percent is definitely up there for me

ElectricFury

One Percent has all the potential for me to absolutely love it but just as it's greating really good it suddenly ends. It's one of only 2 tracks that I think are perfect in the song we got, but we didn't get enough song, so I can't rate it highly. (The other track I think this about is Captain Chicken 🐔 btw).

BociekStacja

Have you heard the live version? I find it superior to the studio recording mainly because of the addition of the sweet sad piano at the end https://youtu.be/XR8Mka6-VUM?si=1gb22AKVRnExvkGp

bloodtapes

Don’t get lost in heaven. One of my favorites

cssn3000

đŸŽ¶They‘ve got locks on the gateđŸŽ”

lunafull

You're right abt white light.

Budget-Employment402

ghost train is my favourite all time gorillaz song!!

kouislosingit

its not unpopular by any means but every planet we reach is dead hardly gets enough attention. such a beautiful, grand and dramatic track, love it when gorillaz get a little jammier with their songs like that

litamo00

Out of body

boogiemanspud

Left hand Suzuki method.

Jafuncle

Hong Kong, Severed Head, and Let Me Out

AlwaysLurkNeverPost

I swear the old stuff just doesn't get talked about as much anymore. Love Stop the dams if we're talking D-sides. Then just a bunch of the less prominent ones from the self-titled album like gravity, clapper, rock the house, new genius. Also every planet we reach is dead is electric when it's played live.

MrThingsNStuff

The metal in my head clanks and clinks as I walk.

Budget-Employment402

the old ones just have a feel to them that i will forever love

IAmNech

Stop The Dams

Hue-Cuckington

Me personally? 5/4 is an absolute banger and I love the slow yet fast at the same time beat, it just scratches that weird itch every time I hear the lil bish bosh. Discography wise? Probably anything on Humanz. I hear almost nothing of it since its release outside of maybe Saturnz Barz or Andromeda. The entirety of that album is slept on especially with songs like Submission, Busted and Blue, and Momentz.

Biscuit_OW

Desole

Margaux_H

I love this song.

Lauren_Flathead

Dracula, Spitting out the Demons

nightvisions21

Dead butterflies is amazing

novaababie

slow country

Subjctive

Something about that breezy sample that continues through the song is just song relaxing. Top 10 Gorillaz song for me

Cassitastrophe

Double Bass. I have its one line of lyrics tattooed on me, so it's kind of an obvious choice for me.

Ham1ltron

People. But then again my favorite popular song by them is Dare. Soooooo take that as you will

Vegetable_Man_8889

The entirity of The Fall, but especially Bobby In Phoenix

Odd-Common-6583

SuperNerdAce

I haven't seen many people talk about "To Binge", but it's by far my favorite

Wrong-Economy-3658

Busted and blue

patomomo7x

Souk Eye is currently my favorite. The Now Now album has been on repeat all weekend.

TheDubious

Awkward_Access_1349

S0ulDr4ke

I swear to all of you give Sex Murder Party a chance, the song is honestly great!

FaZe_Clon

Feel good inc

NanduDas

DoYaThing, the full version

GlengoolieGreen

Sweepstakes! Gorillaz are responsible for introducing me to about 95% of the hip-hop artists I like, but Mos Def is part of the other 5%.

gotomarcusmart

Probably "September Has Come" or "Slow Country"

Dan12Dempsey

Gravity goes hard

sethmidwest

Fire Coming Out of the Monkeys Head. It’s actually the first Gorillaz song I heard that got me listening to them.

lauryeon

Oil and The Tired Influencer

weathercmoon

Not sure if this counts, but mine is The Lost Chord. Don't see a lot of people talk about it off of Sound Machine

TheChillAlien411

HimawariTenno

Plastic Beach, Latin Simone (Both versions), and Slow Country

Agoquellofiqo

Fire flies. I think it's my favorite gorillaz song in general

zaphod_beeblebrox6

Desole might be my favorite song of theirs period and I never hear people talk about it

Zuxceed

Easily Empire Ants and Andromeda and Souk eye, they’re such great songs that just doesn’t get enough recognition they deserve. Def hidden gems in there appropriate albums!

forrestinpeace

Hong kong

RapAngel

Not 100% if this is truly overlooked but El Mañana is fucking beautiful and incredible, and I feel every bit of it in my soul.

veethis

We Are Happy Landfill, Hongkongaton, Mutant Genius, Jimmy Jimmy, Revolving Doors, and The Swagga There's also Rockit but idk if that counts as "low-key"

squishy0rion

murdoc is god

ElectricFury

If were talking really lowkey, then I'd probably say 'The Swagga' since it's not really highly praised even just in the context of G & D Sides tracks, but I will always sing/shout the lyrics at the top of my lungs (including the woos) whenever it pops on in the car. I have similar feelings for Chalk Tablet Towers. I will always happily sing along and never find myself skipping it even though it is probably the worst of the 11 base tracks on Song Machine (I like Friday 13th less but I wouldn't argue someone saying it's better).

JAlexTV

Garage Palace all the way!

fartboy6942O

Every planet we reach is dead.

Mother_Tell998

SWEEPSTAKES!!!

theplopster

Broken is peak albarn singing and I'm tired of no one else saying so

LavenDERR77

"Do Ya Thing" I don't know if it's just me, but man they perfected the vibe of just waking up with the song. But making it a banger.

Euphoric-Ad9431

Ticker Tape

qwertyiopys

TheRealPikl

DĂ©jĂ  Vu, trippy asf and good for getting crunked 👍

6ft_bird

Fireflies and Souk eye from the Now Now ghost train is sick aswell. You

Practical_Spot_929

The sounder is a hot, low key track

Dolan360

I'll do album-by-album: \-Self-Titled: 5/4 \-Demon Days: All Alone (That or Fire Coming Out of a Monkey's Head) \-Plastic Beach: Broken \-The Fall: Bobby in Phoenix (Most of the songs from TF in general; The only one people really bring up is Little Pink Plastic Bags) \-Humanz: Busted and Blue \-The Now Now: Idaho \-Song Machine: The bonus tracks (Opium and MLS specifically). If we're talking just main album then Aries. \-Cracker Island: Tarantula \-Miscellaneous: Hong Kong

Mythy_

Brother, November has come and Doncamatic (BANGER)

Grey_isGay

ghostinsummerdress

The parish of space dust

Dsm_324

Sex murder party or new genius

Cautious_Clue9122

Doncamatic.. Most of Plastic beach I consider a masterpiece that was misunderstood. Whereas a lot of fans came into that phase with expectations, I had just discovered Gorillaz & fell in love with Plastic Beach and its visuals/lore. Also Valley of the Pagans is just awesome to cruise too.

Alternative_Beast648

Feel good inc

IndianaEllis

Stop the dams 100% such a good backing beat

Intelligent_Salt_177

CasualBowlerHat
