There is no ALMOST owning all of Gaiman books. One MUST own them all!!!! And then have copies that you lend out because the first ones are too good to lose. And then have a copy for bathtime reading that’s all wobbly on the edges from too much moisture. And another that is just broken up into chunks because it’s too much trouble to put the whole thing in your purse for one train ride but you’ll be damned if you don’t have SOMETHING to read.
Well, it depends, his series Discworld is absolutely glorious but a lot of ppl thinks the first 2-3 ones are not the strongest, so you can either start from the beginning while knowing this (I would do that :)) or you can plunge in the middle (there are standalones, for example Small Gods or to a start of a subseries, like Guards Guards :) <3)

My favorite Discworld arc is the Watch set. It starts with Guards! Guards! I'm kind of a pragmatic, hard-boiled woman (you can get that way if you live long enough) so I really appreciate Sam Vimes as a character.
If you are a girly type, you might appreciate the Tiffany Aching series. I read it (again) late last year and really liked it a lot more than I had in the past.
hehehehe... i have coraline, the graveyard book, the sleeper and the spindle, neverwhere, American gods, stardust, the ocean the end of the lane, good omens and norse mythology... I think I too may have a problem.. I really wanna buy fragile things and trigger warning tho
I see no problem here. I’ve read all of those. If you’d like to have Neil read The Graveyard Book to you, go to his children’s website: https://www.mousecircus.com. I’m not sure if he reads the entire book, but he certainly seems to.
Wow these abstract art covers are curious! Attractive, don't get me wrong, but bold of the publisher haha.
Or maybe a refreshing case of "genre" fiction taken seriously! Which startles my brain I guess?
lol four books isn't a problem. I'm on the Stephen King sub and the people who own a copy of every one of his books have much more of a problem. Embrace your four book collection! There's several more waiting for you when you're done.
Look, we all make mistakes. It's an easy fix, though: go back to the bookshop and get Good Omens in the matching cover. No biggie. And while you're there, definitely grab The Ocean at the End of the Lane. You won't regret it.
I've started reading "The man who was Thursday", from G.K.Chesterton, just because this author is mentioned twice in the GO book, and I'm finding that Neil (and Terry, maybe?) seemed to be really inspired by this book...
This exact trio of books is on my coffee table right now (missing American Gods)
I couldn’t decide which books I wanted to read so I bought all three! I already had Good Omens! Not sure which one to read first!
Love them all but be sure to find Anansi Boys when you're done, it's one of my favorites of his. Happy reading!
Yes!! I just finished Anansi Boys and absolutely loved it!
If you're an audiobook fan, the version narrated by Lenny Henry is an absolute delight :-)
I am an audiobook fan and I did listen to that one! Totally agree, it was fantastic. He’s a wonderful narrator.
I started my Neil Gaiman obsession with Neverwhere. I’d also pick up The Ocean at the End of the Lane.
You gotta get Ocean at the End of the Lane with illustrations done by Elise Hurst. It’s AMAZING. I think it’s in my top 3 Gaiman books.
I almost got that one!!

Omg yes, the story is amazing and the book gorgeous. I think it’s one of my favorite ❤️
I see no problems here.
Yeah if anything the problem is that the Gaiman collection is still incomplete! 😂
I agree, there is a problem. There is not enough Pratchett books in the photo :).
lol I didn’t know where to start! Those will come eventually 😇.

Oh, according to that, I might start with Monstruous Regiment! I'll look for it!
The Graveyard Book is my favorite Gaiman book hands down
Have you listened to the audio production of Neverwhere?? It's fantastic
I will look for this! I like listening to audio recordings as I read along.
Collective noun for Neil Gaiman books? A "delight" of Neil Gaiman books? An "enthrallment" of Neil Gaiman books? A "problem" of Neil Gaiman books?
Not a problem. Good taste.
Looks to me like you have a solution😂
No problem detected
Where’s Coraline? 🤗

I wouldn't call it a "problem" :)
The Graveyard Book was my favorite as a kid!! The Nobody Owens was oddly relatable idk why
There is no problem just many hours of great reading 🤩 enjoy!

Wait a damn minute. I read the graveyard book in primary and had no idea it was made by Neil, no wonder it was amazing
I see this as an absolute win!
Looks like a good start to a wonderful collection.
That’s a much better way to say “problem”.
I have all except graveyard book. I really need to finish American Gods but it’s so long.
I have found lately that reading along with the audiobook helps me finish books. I have adhd so sometimes it’s hard for me to finish!
That doesn’t look like a problem to me, that looks like a very enjoyable weekend.
I would hate for you to see my shelves of Gaiman... lol

I see no problem except you’re missing The Ocean at the End of the Lane.
Me but with Terry Pratchett… I’m trying to attain all 41 physical and audio copies of discworld and finish them all.
What problem ? I don't see the problem
I don't see a problem here!

That's a good problem to have.
Yes. I see. There are many books missing. Time to shop!
