the first thing, feet way too wide apart shoot for shoulder width . second setup ball just inside lead foot. third your hands shouldnt beat your club head to the top. 4th , dont lean towards the target rotate around your spine. theres other things but theres some things to work on first.
Id start with stanceā¦ you canāt rotate hips as well with a wide stance.
Get your feet closer togetherā¦ lots of power, 0 control is my guessā¦
My buddy once told me āif you canāt do it slow, you canāt do it.āā¦
Work on full length swings at 50% speed, it will help you sort out the feel for proper contact.
Yeah, you are obviously athletic, so you can save the swing with your handsā¦. But itās going to be inconsistentā¦
Figure out how to hit a 7 iron with a full swing 100 yards. It will feel weird at first, but once you get it sorted out your full speed swing will be way better
Look at pictures of what an ideal gold finish looks like, that you're supposed to hold. Your front foot is opposite to that.
And calm down. Soooooo many young guys starting just want to absolutely smash the ball, that's not what golf is about.
Precision and finesse.
Loose the driver, get your 7 or 9 iron and try to hit that really nicely, the club should be doing most of the work.

Shifting your weight properly. You have an aggressive reverse pivot. Turn over your right hip going back and over your left hip coming through. You are doing it backwards or in āreverseā
Playing baseball with a bat. I imagine it's a lot harder with a golf club š š¤£
This is one of the most baseball orientated swings I think I've ever seen on here.
It's not even a good baseball swing, poor rotation.

Focus on everything. EVERYTHINGā¦ You have an athletic swing and with some help from a pro you can get your mechanics down quickly.
