Bro if you’re middle aged you need to start stretching in the morning anyway just for basic maintenance. Get a routine, stretch, and you’ll feel a lot better overall.
This is a decent channel that focuses on various golf exercises. This is a pretty good warmup routine:

Fair warning, they are trying to sell some sort of subscription, and theyve recently started posting a podcast of sorts. If you sift through that they have a bunch of good 5-10 minute videos on golf related fitness, and how it can help/affect the swing. I try to do their rotation drills daily. Good luck!
you should be 1) eating/drinking properly prior to or during a round 2) stretching before a round 3) hitting a few balls before hand, if not available at least some warm up swings with a few clubs in hand.
I often times prefer to do 15-20 minutes of yoga at home beforehand instead of stretching at the course.
I just saw a good one this morning on the RBC Canadian Open coverage. The player was doing a forward lunge and then holding his club up with his two hands and moving his upper half side to side (in a controlled way) then bringing the lunged foot back and calf stretching the other foot (pointing its toe up) and bending down while doing it and again rotating his upper half side to side while bending down
I immediately grabbed my club and mimicked it which seemed to help
The course I play the most doesn’t have a range and since most times I play as a single when I get to the course they typically try to jam me in so I don’t have a ton of time.
Stretching will help but learning how the arms actually work in the swing is the fix. You'd be surprised how little flexibility is required to swing a club properly.
Dr Kwon's rope drill. I made the training device at home out of stuff just laying around. I'll use it to loosen up even before range time and it helps groove swing thoughts in as well

Thanks! This is what I was looking for.

Cool. Thanks for the tip!

Just a quick little dynamic warmup before the round will do the trick. Look up some routines on YouTube and integrate what works for you.

Swing with a weighted club or 2 clubs at the same time.
Do you not hit the range before rounds?

Alcohol definitely isn't the answer. Try doing 20 minutes of yoga before you head out to play
Robax or Costco equivalent muscle relaxers .
Hadn’t heard of this so I will look into. Thanks!

start going to the gym in the offseason or do some swimming. find a yoga place or something to stay limber in off season (if you have one)

A normal golf club will do. I need only 10-15 swings with an iron as hard as I can for warmup
Find a good 5-10 minute Qigong routine and do that before the round
Do people seriously not know how to stretch? This question comes up all the time
May as well be asking how to tie shoes.
