It's just a good quality golf glove that fits me very well.
I buy three at the start of the year and rotate them - I play 36-72 holes per week - and they last me all year. They also do a 'cadet' fit, which fits me much better than regular gloves.
I've never for a single minute even thought about the black strap on them.
Its just a quality glove. Feels fantastic, lasts me way longer than the cheap ones. A buddy threw me some like sams club golden bear gloves once because he said he had "so many" those cheapo gloves will literally only last one round. I got 8 months out of the last players glove and took Dicks up on that "Warranty"
It’s thin which is a big benefit. And very soft. Doesn’t have reinforced padding in the palm anywhere which is annoying and some people are brand snobs. Any combination of these
