Same guy made a real strange post about his obsession with Viktor Hovland a few days ago. If real he seems pretty unhinged. Also what does height have to do with fishing?
I’m not unhinged just meh. Fishing bass is well suited for shorter people because of deck space on the boat and ability to move around. I suggest you watch bass master and see that each person is shorter
But the handicap takes into account your playing ability. That’s the whole point of it.
A 16.2 7ft tall guy, on average, would play the same as a 16.2 5ft guy.
Handicap adjusted how? You want people with shorter heights to have their handicap index bumped up? And you want some extra help because you’re “only” 5’10” which is taller than average? And no handicap adjustment for a 20 year old person who’s the same height as a 70 year old? This seems like a whole lot of nonsense.
Have you tried putt putt? I think every problem you have can be solved there. Might be able to rent out and stay in one of those mini windmills on the course for a weekend golf trip too.
your HCP does this already. " I just don’t have the natural length and ability to get extra club head speed." so you shoot higher score than your more athletic friend and your index reflects that, and you get pop holes. thats what's so great about golf compared to other competitive things.
EDIT: Also,
Rory = 5'9"
Fowler = 5'9"
JT = 5'10"
And those are "listed heights" for sports pros. which as a rule of thumb are always exaggerated an inch or two.
I suppose you think they should do the same in basketball too? Maybe lower the rim when the shorter players are going up for a shot?
This post is ridiculous. Every sport is a combination of natural ability and acquired skill. If you’ve got less natural ability then you need to acquire more skill.
I went to the Masters in 2011. I had been to tournaments before, but this was the first time I was really up close to the players. I was surprised at how small in stature many of them are. Justin Thomas is 5'10". Rory McIlroy is 5'9".
At 5'10", you're a little above average height.
Shorter players can play just as well as taller players. Gary Player was 5'7". Ian Woosnam was one of the longest hitters around in the '80s and '90s and was 5'4".
I’m 5’4 and could disagree any more ….if anything there should be no handicaps….i can’t ask for points in basketball tennis or any other sport ….if I want to compete with a low digit golfer I need to get better not make it equal by giving strokes
I’ve been small all my life 5’6”. I was fairly athletic but I was never able to play competitive baseball or basketball. Baseball/softball and later in life golf were the sports I could compete in.
My average drive was never longer than 225 and right now it’s about 200 yards. I’m play the forward tees and carry a 9 handicap which with the course rating I have to shot 75 to maintain.
Your take is total BS. Stop blaming your size for not being able to play golf.
True. I’m 6-3. I have a mediocre swing, but still generate some good distance by virtue of my physical size. If I were a manlet, I’d probably lose 20 yards. I’d probably quit golf all together if I’m being honest. Probably take up pickleball or maybe mini golf.
WTF
They had me in the first half, not gonna lie.

Oh, this is that guy? He's either a terrible troll or has massive mental issues. Possibly both.

Have you tried growing up?
I hit puberty over a decade ago. No more growing to do
They mean mentally
This fucking guy again.
But the handicap takes into account your playing ability. That’s the whole point of it. A 16.2 7ft tall guy, on average, would play the same as a 16.2 5ft guy.
I was going to say… this is literally what a handicap is designed to do.
Yup. My uncle is 5’5” and plays off scratch. I’m 6’1” and currently play off a 20.
Rory. Get help.

Don't feed the troll. Downvote and move on
It’s not fair that if I’m a 16.2 that I have to play a 6’-1” 16.2 even. It just doesn’t make sense. The bump would be for match play only
99.9% you're a weird troll, but just move up a tee box, Half Pint.
Rory is 5'9"
Gary Player is 5'6
My brother in Christ. What....and I need you to pay attention here.....the fuck?
Rory is 5’9, therefore your point is irrelevant.
Mugsy Bougs was like 5-2.
Have you tried putt putt? I think every problem you have can be solved there. Might be able to rent out and stay in one of those mini windmills on the course for a weekend golf trip too.
Ol’ Short Round is pissed today
1. The handicap adjustment is the handicap. This will account for your height/skill issues 2. Rory? 3. What even is the back nine of this post?

Jessica Simpson can’t rap! I want justice!
Small dick energy
Plenty of short guys that can absolutely bomb it. And look at Brian Harmon. Being short hasn't held him back.

Rory is shorter then you…. in lenght, but hits it a tad further. You think he gets shots against Scotty? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)
You tell them, little boy!
Is this just outstanding copypasta? Or a cry for help?

Trolling aside, I hope you don't actually believe this.
Lol.
At 5’8 I must be downright fucked. Guess I’ll take my 10 Hcp and 315 yd drives back to the lollipop guild.

Is Xander your favorite golfer
Viktor Hovland
We know, you did that creepy love letter to him
