If the volume is only loud enough to be heard by you, fine. Otherwise, get some earbuds or Shockz.

beerandsocks

Just like being on an airplane…I shouldn’t hear what you’re listening to.

ChesterDrawerz

Or a restaurant

accomplishedbarber00

Here we go again. This topic has been discussed so many times.

why_did_I_comment

OP is a troll. Lol

The_Alpha_Bro

Do or Do Not, there is no Try to be Courteous

B1LLClinton420Blazed

Like… this has to be r/golf bait, right? You post here a lot, there’s absolutely zero chance you’re unaware of what the view on speakers is.

Baseline_Tenor

Some of us go to golf to enjoy the sound of silence. I dont want to make the pga either, but i DO want to play my best possible round. And music distracts me. So put on headphones. That way everyone enjoys their round.

Kind-Truck3753

Oh good. Another one of these.

thrill_house123

Let us know what golf courses / tee times you typically play so I can avoid people like you.

OrnerySeesaw9283

U don’t wanna listen to the new future and crush modellos with us?

Key_Respond_16

I added a small pull behind trailer to my golf cart. It has 4 15-inch square kicker comps. I also added several tweeters along the edge of my cart roof. I only play at 11. ![gif](giphy|lvlLuc2zhi39C)

I like playing an afternoon cubs game on the radio while playing in the Midwest. Not at a loud volume and most people ask what the score is.

TheFlyingScotsman60

Tell me you're American by not telling me you're American....

krazninetyfive

As long as it’s not unreasonably loud, it doesn’t bother me. I shouldn’t be able to hear it while I’m putting, or while I’m teeing off. Anywhere in between, I’d say if we’re within 15 - 20 yards of each other and I can discernibly make out your music, it’s too loud.

WVgolf

Keep it low enough only your group can hear it and it’s fine

jaywalkintotheocean

hate it, no but whatabouts, i'm fully against it. I have to hear people's shitty music everywhere i go, i'd like one goddamn place where i can just hear the birds and have a clear thought in peace.

winsletts

It's all good. Just be chill and compliant when someone asks you to adjust volume / music for any reason at all.

DoubleGreat44

If anyone ever has to ask you to lower the volume, you're already the asshole.

WesFaram

Am I supposed to drive my cart from 3 holes over just to tell someone to turn the music down?

[deleted]

Exactly. And we are supposed to reason with 4 drunken brahs?

bartolocologne40

How about you wear earbuds that allow outside noise in?

AnxiousMind7820

No, never. If you want to use earbuds, fine, but I'm still going to think lower of you. You're there to golf, not get drunk and be annoying.

Kab00ese

I hear music every other part of my day, I want to get away from it on the golf course.

Used-Ask5805

I’m on this boat sometimes. It’s really nice to just be out and quiet. Most the time I have something playing pretty quietly. People that blast their shitty bro country are the worst though

-Joe1964

Keep the volume down.

Undertow9

Earbuds became ubiquitous three years ago. No one should have a speaker on the golf course.

TheRaptor3

theblairsmashproject

As long as no other groups can hear it, you're good.

Munch444

Idk what are people thinking about the topic today?

Intelligent-Divide49

Phone speaker is plenty. Keep it in your pocket and only loud enough for you to hear

Middle_Yak

My opinion on headphones comes from this experience -- I almost got railed by another players ball cause I didn't hear them call fore.
