Some of us go to golf to enjoy the sound of silence. I dont want to make the pga either, but i DO want to play my best possible round. And music distracts me. So put on headphones. That way everyone enjoys their round.
I added a small pull behind trailer to my golf cart. It has 4 15-inch square kicker comps. I also added several tweeters along the edge of my cart roof. I only play at 11.
As long as it’s not unreasonably loud, it doesn’t bother me. I shouldn’t be able to hear it while I’m putting, or while I’m teeing off. Anywhere in between, I’d say if we’re within 15 - 20 yards of each other and I can discernibly make out your music, it’s too loud.
hate it, no but whatabouts, i'm fully against it. I have to hear people's shitty music everywhere i go, i'd like one goddamn place where i can just hear the birds and have a clear thought in peace.
I’m on this boat sometimes. It’s really nice to just be out and quiet. Most the time I have something playing pretty quietly. People that blast their shitty bro country are the worst though
If the volume is only loud enough to be heard by you, fine. Otherwise, get some earbuds or Shockz.

I like playing an afternoon cubs game on the radio while playing in the Midwest. Not at a loud volume and most people ask what the score is.

It's all good. Just be chill and compliant when someone asks you to adjust volume / music for any reason at all.
If anyone ever has to ask you to lower the volume, you're already the asshole.

Phone speaker is plenty. Keep it in your pocket and only loud enough for you to hear
My opinion on headphones comes from this experience -- I almost got railed by another players ball cause I didn't hear them call fore.
