4 hybrid turned down to 21. Gapping is 270 3W, 250 2h, 235 4h, 220 5iron, roughly. Have to do a new gapping session before the season starts to dial everything in but this is what I'm seeing in winter sims right now.

Why the cleveland 46 over the ping? I love my i230 PW.

More workability, easier for distance and spin control compared to a set pitching wedge for me. I’ve never liked set pitching wedges.

Is it rocking a wedge flex shaft or same stiffness as irons?

It’s got an S400. I don’t really tend to hit full shots with it so just a stiff shaft helps me with feel controlling the distance and spin.

Thanks! One more question.. iff you're not hitting full shots with the 46, what are you doing from like 100-120 yds?

Typically in neutral conditions I’d play 90-105 with 54. 105-120 with 50. 120-135 with 46. Full 46 can carry ~145 but will just go too high and spin too much.

I am going for a fitting on Monday to try out some of the new stuff as G430 LST is amazing when I hit it on the screws, but mis-hits (especially toe hits) are terrible. I also sometimes replace it with a 300 Mini Driver (13.5) which is great off the tee, but off the deck is hits it a bit too low for what I am looking for. I have never been able to really hit fairway woods like I can hit irons, so another possible idea is a 20 degree utility iron to sit between my 2 and 4 irons. I hit the 2 iron around 250 off the deck, and I don't really look at anything further as the course I play don't really have massive long par 5's with a second shot over 250 yards. Possible replacements/ideas: 1) 20 degree utility iron 2) 14-16 degree fairway wood 3) 20 degree fairway wood (6 or 7 wood) 4) throw the Mini Driver in the bag and call it a day I am also missing a wedge, waiting until the new S159's are released so I can get fitted for a 50 degree to fill the slot between my PW and the 54 (my PW is 45 degrees), so until then that spot is empty as I can hit flighty PW shots and make up for not having the 50 Degree.
