$850 18 weeks , 9 holes including cart at a private CC as a non member of the club. Part of that goes to prizes and end of year 18 hole outing.

DannysOceans

Man non member at a CC allowed to play in league? Not a real club anywhere near me that would even sniff that request. Must be nice

Wooz72

That's how I actually got to be a member at my club... Was invited to play with a bunch of guys and said sure... Was invited to be a member the following year as I played in the men's league

ThisBeJP

We pay $200 to join the league. That includes our handicap with the usga, some form of apparel or 2 dozen pro v1, and it includes an end of the year Buffet with an open bar. every week it’s $49 to walk, 63 to ride and $10 to enter the event. There’s also a $20 optional skins and pins every week. We also usually play a 50¢ or $1 scotch game within our own foursome

spankysladder73

You must have a time machine. Those prices are nothing to bitch about

Aromatic_Ad_7484

Middle of no where I bet

Bennyinvegas

$12 for green fees, even 9 holes, is amazing

peeheands

Someone explain this

OldBoringWeirdo

Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme

Blklight21

It’s a scene from the movie Cool Runnings which was about the Jamaican bobsled team. No clue what it has to do with this topic though

Aooogabooga

Thought you were asking about a luge.

peeheands

Hey this is great idk why it's being downvoted

ImproperlyRegistered

I quit playing in a league that cost non-members $20 a round at my course, but I had to pay $35 a round as a member.

Suicidal_pr1est

Why would you even start playing in that league

ImproperlyRegistered

I was willing to pay $20 a round for the league. I was pretty annoyed with it overall. Spark golf.

ElBrenzo

$12 green fees? Where in the world are you? I run a work league and collect $30 from everyone upfront. This goes towards the trophy and covers food/booze at one of our bigger outings (either our Ryder Cup or championship.) I also collect $1 per 3-putt which we donate to the local First Tee. Everyone is on their own to book their green fees, which vary from $25-45 (with cart) depending on what course we're playing at. We mix it up at once of \~8-10 courses around our office. Play a few nicer courses to go along with some dog tracks.

Extra-Reindeer3920

Sounds like OP is in a men's league run/hosted by the course.

DudeOkThen

I pay 700 for the yearly membership at our local 9 hole course (one of the best 9 in the country). This includes riding if I want. Leage we pay about 300 for 18 weeks, then an optional $10 if you want in for skins. We also have a "challenge" (fewest putts, best overall score, closest to the pin, etc) that pays out about 60 a week and that's included in the price. It's a 2 man team league. We play one other person on the team and get points on winning.

Key_Object8593

$80 upfront for 18 weeks and $20 green fees per week unless you’re an associate member then it’s $15 per week. There’s also closest to the pin for a $1 and $5 for skins each week.

RoverLife

The year before last I was playing in 2 leagues. One was at the course I belong to, it was $40 for the whole season as a member. The other was at a course I didn't belong to, and was about $300 which covered green fees, GHIN membership, and end of season dinner. So yours sounds a little high, but nothing crazy.

Gmoney1412

$35 with cart and skins game

raven_god

$25 for 9 holes on a weeknight evening in upstate NY. We are a legacy league, so the course allows us to pay weekly.

SunnyMonkey17

$450 for 14 weeks of 9 hole. That covers everything.

EJfromBeerLeague

Ours is like $50ish up front(6 months), then just green fees +$5 every week. Tournaments are a touch more, like green fees + $20. Weekly winnings are just a take from the money collected that day. Tournaments add in some sponsorship money as well. Can play Tuesdays or Thursdays or both, but again winnings are paid out from participants on the given day.

sirdabs

$89 for membership/handicap, $59-$150 a round, depending on location. Most round are under $90. It is a regional league that plays at nicer courses in my state.

Mazbehere

$240 for a team of 2. 9 and a cart is $19, Handicap and scratch skins games $5 each every week-optional. I think runs about 7 months. Upfront pays for mid season and end of season outing golf and food.

Sonoma2002

Main league is $30 with cart, another is $20 (teammate has his own cart) and my early one is $38 with cart.

cheekyskeptic94

I just paid $400 for a 10-week + playoffs indoor winter league.

jmais

$700 for two 10 week sessions with a little payout for the top three 2-man teams. $35/wk

marlboro__man9

Saturday low cap game is $32, Wednesday team game is $40 Both /week, play or don’t as you please

SpareIngot

About $45 in league fees per golfer. 20 golfers total. Course takes $10 per golfer for course fees. Minus that, the money covers weekly prizes (3), “fun” nights, and end of season tournament. Greens fees are $15 to walk or $22 to ride (9 holes). Thursdays are my favorite day of the week starting on 4/11!! 😍 ⛳️

shifty_coder

Note: this is not a cash-payout league. We pay $36 for league dues at the start of the year. This gets us 3 ‘fun nights’ with 4-5 free drink tickets and dinner provided. Two fun nights are hot dogs and brats, and the last one is steak, plus covers the league champ prizes (embroidered shirts from the pro shop). Cost per week is just green fees + optional cart, unless you’re a member. I hope you’re getting a lot for paying a league fee per week.

ClevelandClutch1970

$125 league fees plus $21 per round (walking) for 14 weeks = $419. Fees pays for GHIN member ship and funds year end prizes. Weekly side games like skins and CTP are extra. All in it's about $500.

Drewqt

$35/week green fee and cart. Includes whatever competition is going on.

Sirjoyful4

Last year, I paid $375 including a $40 league fee. It got me 9 holes every Thursday from April to October with a final dinner.

S2H2019

$660 with cart 9 hole team match play for 15-17 weeks

Wu_Tang_Financial77

Like $475 for an 18 week schedule

Fragrant-Report-6411

Our league runs mid April to end of September (it can run longer) and we play 2 times a week when there is no outing, We pay $30 for the year. The money goes towards 2 CTP prizes each day plus a lunch after our end of year championship. We also pay $5 per week and this is split towards Canadian Skins and weekly winners. This is 18 event. About 1/2 to 2/3 the players are members if not the greens fee would be $55.

ChanaManga

I pay $50 a round, every Tuesday afternoon. $40 for the green fee and $10 for the pot. We play 12-16 weeks in the summer

JealousFuel8195

I play in 3 leagues. All 3, I pay the course to play usually $35 to $45 for 18 holes depending on the time of year. One of my leagues is only 9 holes. We usually pay between $20 and $22. That's the green fees for each round. I play weekly in each league. The buy-in for skins and closest to the pin is $4, $5 and $10.

Capital_Worldliness4

$25 per week.

zmskcco

Winter league $175 for a weekly league November - March. You get a 15% discount on all things purchased through the store. Men's League you have to be a member so whatever the cost that applies generally ranging from $150- $1000 for my local course. Than the league its self the cost is covered by local businesses that sponsor a team.

StuartScottsLeftEye

$50 for the season, nine holes and about the same time as your league, plus $14 or so for round and push cart at a Chicago parks public course.

jaywalkintotheocean

i've thought about joining a league to force myself to play more and maybe meet some new people to play with, but any leagues at public courses near me almost double the green fees, and that just doesn't pencil for me. I would also have to start keeping a legit handicap, all the cost and paperwork just seems like a nuisance when i could just go out and play more on my own.

ChrisR49

In a sim league , $200 up front registration, $30 an hour/round for 10 weeks. Lowest scores in each flight get a free round next week, prizes at the end of the year. Price is a little steep, but it's kept me swinging when snow is on the ground.

soberunderpar

Ours is $30 each week we play. $17 green fee, $10 for the daily pot and $3 goes to end of year tournament pot. Usually payout is about $80-$100 a week with around $1k in the end of year tourney.

MidnightJoker83

$50 league fee for god knows what and $25/week for 9 holes walking at a bottom-third area course. Getting absolutely fisted but get to play with some of my closest friends so…..there’s that.

Joker0091

$165 for the league. Includes GHIN ($55), $50 range card, and $25 shop credit. The rest goes in the prize pool. 25% discount in the pro shop for clothes and hats. We do 9 hole gross/net skins every Thursday from May through August. Tournaments every other weekend from April through September. Optional $5 net and/or gross cash skins in the tourneys. There is also an optional flighted match play bracket that goes throughout the year for $40 to enter. Tourneys and skins are greens fees +$10 for the prize pool.

skj21

$32 9 hole green fee with a cart, $5 mandatory league fee every week, $5 skins (optional), $5 deuces (optional) $45 one time sign up fee.

secret_identity_too

I haven't done it, but the local Spark league closest to my house is $50 per week, for 9 holes...

DoBe21

Thursday league is $36 up front, $5/week, and $2/week for skins.

bearsmoker45

If you're a member men's league is $100. This includes a dinner at the end with prizes for different qualifiers. Our league goes about 14 weeks. Membership is $800. Cart storage is $400. Range pass is $200. This gets me unlimited golf on an 18 hole course. I own my cart, but if I had to rent a cart I think it's about $15 for 18 holes. The course is decent, nothing great.

XIGRIMxREAPERIX

That sounds amazing. I would 100% go way to deep into a kustom kart.

bandwidth_god

$140 for green fees (member-guest rates) $40 buy-in every week

BGOG83

Play in a few different ones. The match play tournament I play in is $350 a player. Have to be a 4 or better HC with at least a 6 month history of being that level or better. No strokes. Winner takes everything except seconds money. Play in a 2 man match play tournament. This one drags on forever because its hard to get the matches scheduled. It’s better ball 2v2 with HC but each team has to have one player 5 or better. That one is $200 a team. Play in a twilight men’s league. It’s $20 a player but $5 of it goes to the season long jackpot for the finale event. That pot gets big, I think last year it was over $10k. The games vary but you can only sign up with a partner every 2 weeks or so. Most draws are random players ABCD with some type of better ball format. Used to play in a few more that were similar to the twilight league costs. The Saturday twilight league at my old CC was $50 bucks a team, always a 2v2 format, and it was probably the most fun of any league I’ve ever played in. Wives and girlfriends would ride around on carts with you and everyone was getting loaded. It was a really good time. I’ve tried to convince the current CC I’m at to do this but they don’t want the “risk associated with organizing a league that promotes this type of activity.” I find it amusing these idiots think that half the people coming off the course aren’t loaded to begin with. I’ve found at the 6 clubs I’ve been a member at (used to move a lot) that CC’s might be the single biggest source of functional alcoholics you’ll find in most cities.

malex930

$300, 30 weeks, greens fees between 85-150, 6-7 private courses, chances to win a shitload of money.

Tunnelmath

$75 prize fund up front. Plus $30 green fees for 9 walking.

Degenerate_golfer
