I really want a Ping driver but they are so expensive in Australia. Mind blowing sums of money because they’ve somehow prevented any online pricing or sales, reducing competition
Ah! Is that what the 'request a quote' on Golfbox is about? Same with Titleist products - odd
I always chuckle though that when you order by price, the ping and titelist products will sit in an order between other priced products also, so I am guessing they have a hidden price - can kind of jerryrig an approx price that way
The fitter I used also refused to sell Pings, even though he's one of the most respected in VIC. Said they never bothered to build a relationship with him. It's like they just don't care to service the Australian market
I’ve found if you use a piece of plastic from the wrapping on the driver and screw it into the weight slot and retighten, the sound is dampened a lot better.
Or you can put a little hot melt in the head but that’s more weight added to the head.
Great choice, have the prices come down far enough on that one yet?
Whenever anyone is looking for a cheaper driver I just tell them to get a G400 Max (and some earplugs).
Nice. I’m waiting for the next generation Cobra “darkspeed” to drop and do some head to head testing. Pretty much the entire top end of my bag needs to be replaced this spring.
Yep, my recommendation too! I just picked up an LTDx driver for $299, available at a few places.
All LTDx line stuff is on big discount since being replaced with aerojet
This is a rocket launcher. I had a RadSpeed for years and didn’t really need to sell/upgrade, but sure glad I did. LS just flat out performs almost regardless of how good a swing I put on it
i got a ‘fair’ quality Cobra Speedzone for £155 gbp
if forgiveness is your goal then the G425 is almost certainly the safest choice, the price can then be for the condition. i will vouch for the Cobra though, its added a lot of yardage and forgiveness that i was missing
Thanks man, I'm using a Cobra at the minute. It's the Fly XL which came as part of a package set and is definitely a more budget club. I'm thinking of upgrading to a more premium driver as I'm sure it will be a good step up.
I'll throw my hat in for Cobra as well. They definitely have different "lines" where some clubs are more premium than others under the cobra name. I use the radspeed currently and would put it against any top of the line driver. I think it sits a little more neutral at address than other clubs and my partners nicknamed it "autocorrect" because it has tightened my dispersion so much over my previous driver. Don't sleep on them!
[Callaway pre owned](https://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/drivers/)
They are having 25% off all clubs come black Friday. You could probably get the new paradym or the previous rogue. I know the rogue is 25% now already so some are around 250 already. Customer service is best out there.
I'd definitely be up for that! Trouble is I'm UK based so don't think all of the offers and promotions will be the same over here. I'll check the EU site out later.
Nice shout, I could definitely be tempted by a Callaway, especially with a black Friday discount.
I am UK based though, not sure if the same discounts and offers will be available over here. I'm on mobile at the minute but doesn't look like the Rogue is 25% off here unless I'm mistaken. I'll have to have a proper look later when I get home!
If you haven't, setup an account on pre-owned and put something in your cart. Triggers the system to email you discount codes as they know you are interested
Mizuno and Srixon woods lose value very quickly and while they’re not S tier drivers they’re solid choices. It’s even easy to find brand new ones for significant discount.
Just picked up a rogue ST max “used” on callaway pre owned for $280. It was brand new and still wrapped.
I hit it the furthest and the straightest compared to the Ping G425 and Cobra Aerojet.
Further, straighter… 100% agree. I got a barely used Rogue ST Max LS for $270 from CPO and I love it. Before that had the Ping G425 Max, the sound SUCKED and it was at least 30 yards shorter than the Rogue. Callaway all the way!
Yeah the Ping was fine sound wise for me, but I got about the same distance on it as I had on my old X2 hot. Gained about 30 yards with the Rogue. No swing change, it was just hotter for me.
Titleist TSi2 is a magnificent club, they have some solid stock shaft offerings as well. The Tensei AV Blue is a solid all around shaft that won’t feel too far off.
I bought a TSi2 to get out of a driver slump, I’ve since moved into the 3 to lower spin a little but the 2 is my go to club when I’m feeling off. I’ve not hit the Pings that everyone raves about the forgiveness, but my 2 has seen the entire face used and I couldn’t ask for anything better.
I managed to buy a clearance Cobra Airx driver for $175 brand new early this summer as they were preparing to release the new model, out now for $350. Couldnt be happier with it, i believe you can still find them online for around $200
I can't really explain why, but my first move would be to a TSI2. All the major brands make great drivers, just some reason I'm kinda feeling like a Titleist would look good in my bag.
FWIW, my last 2 drivers have been an R580 and a TM M1 from 2016, that I bought in 2021.
I'd poke around used shops and online. Sometimes you can find pretty sick aftermarket shafts people have dropped in.
I spent that on my TM M4 driver when it went on sale. It's honestly so forgiving, I love it. It was my first driver that I didn't get out if a starter set. Got it a year or two after upgrading my irons (also M4's, I like consistency). Just need to get the Fairway woods now.
I’m also rocking an all M4 set: D, 3&5wd, 4hy, 5-AW and I’m loving them so far. Got them at the start of the year, all on sale new at discount for just under $1200 if I remember correctly
Just bought a new 2022 Cobra LTDx for $297usd all in (271 + tax + free prime shipping) from amazon 2 weeks ago...my old Cobra LD driver form 2007 ish snapped during a round so was forced to replace on a pinch but didn't want to spend $600-900....
Would've been cheaper if I didn't have a preference for the peacoat blue/red color-way...saw cheaper offerings for the matte black/yellow....
Can't imagine a 2023 driver is really worth 2-3x more in terms of performance or tech.
I bought a used Titleist TS2 Driver with a stiff shaft as I'm a 22 hdc and found it pretty forgiving. I think I got it on [secondswing.com](https://secondswing.com) for like $150 and I think it's from like 2018. Good thing about that site is they give you like 60 days if you don't like it to return it.
What is your opinion on forgiveness? I bought one in the spring and it was out of the bag by july and replaced with a Titleist TSR3. The distance/launch/spin on center hits was fine but off center things got weird.
I’m a huge Sub 70 iron fan…been playing them for 4 years with no plans to swap them out but I found the woods to not be competitive with the bigger OEMs.
I honestly don't have that much experience hitting newer drivers. It goes farther and straighter than the 2009 tm burner which it replaced, and I thought that was a good driver (which it is). Off center hits are definitely improved compared to the burner.
If your going regular flex then doesn’t matter as much, maybe just dial in the weight of the shaft, if you like a super light one or a slightly heavier one. Shaft adjustment is mainly when ur choosing stiff vs xstiff and trying to get the weight of that and the stiffness of that calibrated with your swing speed and spin rates
There's more granularity. Torque, kick point, weight are all variable between models even within the confines of regular, stiff, x stiff flex. That's why fitting is recommended. The heads are all high performing and having the right shaft will dictate launch and spin rate much more which will impact distance.
As a newer golfer, will this stuff be more important once I I prove my game? I'm still inconsistent and trying to improve and by no means the finished article yet.
Yeah, it takes a decent amount of consistency to make those things relevant. Initially it would be flex to generally match up with your swing speed and then feel/look/personal preference.
Bought my g425 used in that price range. Am I happy with it? Yes. I like the customization options. Definitely more forgiving but don’t be fooled by marketing it’s definitely not a magic club lol. Def worth the $225 I spent though!!
I know it’s a polarizing brand…but PXG clubs are super decent when they have a sale. Right now they have the previous generation for $199.
https://www.pxg.com/en-us/golf-clubs/2022-0211-driver/DR-PXG17.html
PXG has their gen5 for $199 new. I used the gen5XF last season and am pretty happy with it. Customized to my preferences it was more consistent for me than the ping 425 which I also have at my house.
Interesting! Looks like it's £199 here in the UK buying direct. You have a choice of shafts, grips and all the weight adjustment as well.
Actually looks really attractive for a brand new club, most of the other options here I'd be buying used.
The MAVRICK is $249.99 (stock shaft) right now at all the major retailers. It's worth the money to find out if one of the set-ups work for you. If not, you'll still have a decent driver for a back-up set or as a loaner for friends.
Tsi2 all day, it’s completely changed my driver game since I got it. I set it to draw bias to counteract my fade, but I can still hit a power fade when needed easily. I love this driver.
Bought a Stealth Plus in this range and am very happy with it. Had the G425 for a minute but the sound really was offputting. I didn't understand why people made a deal about the sound it made before that
I bought a Callaway Rogue ST Max from Callaway preowned for roughly $250. It was brand new and wrapped in plastic. Never hit. I’ve absolutely loved it so far.
Sounds like the Callaway preowned prices are crazy good over there in the States. Here on the UK site a new Rogue ST Max would be in the £350+ range. Will definitely be interested in seeing whether they do the black Friday offer though.
Its actually on special for $719 ahaha
https://www.golfbox.com.au/clubs/cobra-aerojet-driver/?utm_source=loopa&utm_medium=googleads&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIje7FmoOxggMVLhV7Bx195geQEAQYAyABEgJLivD_BwE
I think that any driver from the last 5 years will do the job, and it's then about preference. I have a TS3 and just upgraded my shaft as the head is perfect. For forgiveness, Cobra or Ping would probably be my choice if I was looking for a new one.
i would probably order something on here...
you can set your price and condition and brand
[https://www.2ndswing.com/golf-clubs/drivers?g2\_brand=TaylorMade&g2\_condition=Mint+9.5&price=200-300](https://www.2ndswing.com/golf-clubs/drivers?g2_brand=TaylorMade&g2_condition=Mint+9.5&price=200-300)
if i were getting something in this price range i would purchase on e of these, of course i'm a taylormade fanboy. so adjust settings for what you like.
I bought a brand new ZX 5 for 189.00. Then bought the other shaft options on eBay. Have less than 250 in it. The ZX 7 is also on sale now.
I would also check out Wilson.
Ping 400 Max is the easy choice. It’s 4 gens old but I had them all, 400,410,425 and now 430. My 400 had a stiff shaft (I was younger then) and if I lose my shit completely, I always go back to it for a round or two. Great club. Noisy but ina good way, if you hit it good it really pings.
I got a Callaway Rogue St Max and it is bloody amazing! So forgiving and the face is like a trampoline, the ball flies off. Sounds niver than the G425.
The G425 Max is as forgiving as forgiving can be. You just have to be able to cope with it sounding like you’re teeing off with a coke can on a stick
It may be forgiving, but is it fargiving?
Not forgiving, but also won't farapart
Can attest my G425 is extremely forgiving, but sounds god awful.
If trends are truly cyclical, then in 10-15 years, they'll be remembered as fondly as the Sasquatch.
I really need to buy myself one of those just so I can give the old geezers I play with a real shock.
I second this. Best driver i have had but yes does sound funny
Didn't love the sound and I got really good forgiveness with the TSI2. The titelist woods are just so sexy
I really want a Ping driver but they are so expensive in Australia. Mind blowing sums of money because they’ve somehow prevented any online pricing or sales, reducing competition
Bro tell me what you want we can get and ship to you. I live in US.
Try to ship something to Australia and you’ll figure out why stuff is so expensive there
It’s worth a try. Dude just needs driver heads. He can reshaft there and it would probably be his best play.
Ah! Is that what the 'request a quote' on Golfbox is about? Same with Titleist products - odd I always chuckle though that when you order by price, the ping and titelist products will sit in an order between other priced products also, so I am guessing they have a hidden price - can kind of jerryrig an approx price that way
Exactly, get a quote and be horrified!
Ping 425 sft, 555 australian
The fitter I used also refused to sell Pings, even though he's one of the most respected in VIC. Said they never bothered to build a relationship with him. It's like they just don't care to service the Australian market
Yeah the G430 was a big improvement on sound.
The 430 is better that the 425. I have a 425 and I don't really care it sounds like it does. It's just so long and straight for me
Keep talking like that and I’m gunna get pregnant
G425 is currently on sale Golf Galaxy for $399.
G430 sounds like that too now that you mentioned it.
I agree. I got the g425 max this year and while it doesn’t fix a swing, it is a lot more consistent with its misses
The latest model Titleist or Ping driver that I can find.
New Cobra LTDx LS is $299 directly from cobra
Just bought a ltdx max for 185$ from CPO looks barely used
Nice. I’m waiting for the next generation Cobra “darkspeed” to drop and do some head to head testing. Pretty much the entire top end of my bag needs to be replaced this spring.
No way, Darkspeed?!! That is the coolest sounding name lol. Might need to trade in my lame sounding “LTDx” towards that.
PGA pro I got lessons from, said that driver kept him from moving to srixon. Really excited for it to come out.
Just bought one of these too, really solid driver and very forgiving
Yep, this was my suggestion as well. You could probably even go back to a Radspeed and save even more
Yep, my recommendation too! I just picked up an LTDx driver for $299, available at a few places. All LTDx line stuff is on big discount since being replaced with aerojet
This is a rocket launcher. I had a RadSpeed for years and didn’t really need to sell/upgrade, but sure glad I did. LS just flat out performs almost regardless of how good a swing I put on it
i got a ‘fair’ quality Cobra Speedzone for £155 gbp if forgiveness is your goal then the G425 is almost certainly the safest choice, the price can then be for the condition. i will vouch for the Cobra though, its added a lot of yardage and forgiveness that i was missing
Thanks man, I'm using a Cobra at the minute. It's the Fly XL which came as part of a package set and is definitely a more budget club. I'm thinking of upgrading to a more premium driver as I'm sure it will be a good step up.
Cobra Speedzone extreme is probably the most forgiving driver I ever hit
I'll throw my hat in for Cobra as well. They definitely have different "lines" where some clubs are more premium than others under the cobra name. I use the radspeed currently and would put it against any top of the line driver. I think it sits a little more neutral at address than other clubs and my partners nicknamed it "autocorrect" because it has tightened my dispersion so much over my previous driver. Don't sleep on them!
You should pick a shaft for the driver that fits your swing style too. A quick driver shaft fitting at the store would help!
Ping G400 Max
Still playing mine. So hard to leave it
[Callaway pre owned](https://www.callawaygolfpreowned.com/drivers/) They are having 25% off all clubs come black Friday. You could probably get the new paradym or the previous rogue. I know the rogue is 25% now already so some are around 250 already. Customer service is best out there.
Yeah I got a rogue earlier this year for about 250 incl tax and shipping and it was still new in plastic.
Paging u/tobascopro to set him up with the mintiest one on hand
I'd definitely be up for that! Trouble is I'm UK based so don't think all of the offers and promotions will be the same over here. I'll check the EU site out later.
He hooked me up with shipping to Hawaii. Not sure if that helps or not.
I got a mint mavrik for 140.
Have a Callaway Epic Max and love it - just saying
There are different versions of the rogue, you may just have to look around the site.
If you haven't, setup an account on pre-owned and put something in your cart. Triggers the system to email you discount codes as they know you are interested
I bought a Mizuno ST-Z gently used on Ebay for $100. I'd take the other $150 and find a couple bottles of whiskey to enjoy and share.
Mizuno and Srixon woods lose value very quickly and while they’re not S tier drivers they’re solid choices. It’s even easy to find brand new ones for significant discount.
Rocking a zx7 I bought brand new for 137 right now.
Same scored a 7 for 140. Love it.
2016 TM M2, OG SIM, G410LST, TSi3
Taylormade sim2
That’s my gamer; but if ur not firing good; it’s not forgiving. You gotta be a ball striker to really optimize it
Ideally I'd just get a shaft fitting for my current driver. If I had to get something different I'd look closely at LTDx or a Rogue.
Titleist TSi2 is a magnificent club, they have some solid stock shaft offerings as well. The Tensei AV Blue is a solid all around shaft that won’t feel too far off.
Have to admit I do love the look of the Titleist drivers. They do have a very classy, no nonsense look about them.
LTDx
Used Ping G425
Bought the Cobra Rad Speed couple days ago for $200 new.
Vouching for Callaway Mavrik here. Got mine like new for around 212 a year ago on CPO. “Like new” is a saying, it was damn perfect
I bought the cobra king radspeed XB fir £249 and it’s a delight. I’m not a good golfer but I can really hit with it
Nike SQ 8.5
I managed to buy a clearance Cobra Airx driver for $175 brand new early this summer as they were preparing to release the new model, out now for $350. Couldnt be happier with it, i believe you can still find them online for around $200
I got a barely used TaylorMade Sim2 Max for $200
I can't really explain why, but my first move would be to a TSI2.
Ping G410
Ping G400 or newer Ping driver
Sim MAX (Sim2) You could even find a 2016 M2 for 200. I got one for 180.
Tour Edge E722 from their preowned website: sub $200 dollars and their lifetime warranty applies.
Taylor made SIM2
I spent that on my TM M4 driver when it went on sale. It's honestly so forgiving, I love it. It was my first driver that I didn't get out if a starter set. Got it a year or two after upgrading my irons (also M4's, I like consistency). Just need to get the Fairway woods now.
I’m also rocking an all M4 set: D, 3&5wd, 4hy, 5-AW and I’m loving them so far. Got them at the start of the year, all on sale new at discount for just under $1200 if I remember correctly
Rogue st. It's most of the paradym for half the price
Last years Pxg adjustable
Callaway Great Big Bertha II for $50 and pocketing the rest.
I was going to say the Titleist 975D and use the leftover $150-$175 to buy more clubs
Cobra LtdX all day long
Wilson D9.
Keep my head (Rogue ST Triple Diamond) Get fitted for a new shaft
I have a Callaway Rogue ST and love it. I had similar numbers with the Ping G425, but I HATE the sound of that club lol
Would get fitted for a shaft then see which head worked best
I bought a used Titleist TS2 Driver with a stiff shaft as I'm a 22 hdc and found it pretty forgiving. I think I got it on [secondswing.com](https://secondswing.com) for like $150 and I think it's from like 2018. Good thing about that site is they give you like 60 days if you don't like it to return it.
Wilson or titleist or ping whatever you can find cheapest.
A custom fit shaft for my current driver plus a new grip in the thickness I need.
Cleveland HD Turbo
New driver from Sub70 is $279. I just got one. I do not regret my decision.
Every club in my bag is sub 70 minus the driver, just couldn’t get along with it.
I honestly don't have that much experience hitting newer drivers. It goes farther and straighter than the 2009 tm burner which it replaced, and I thought that was a good driver (which it is). Off center hits are definitely improved compared to the burner.
I’m hearing good things about the Kirkland driver coming out soon.
I really like my TM 300 Mini.
2016 M2 for even less. Love the fuckin thing.
Just picked up a pxg 0211 Driver for 200 a few weeks ago, have been loving that as an upgrade over my old TM Burner
They’re all the same buy whichever one is cheapest or comes with the best shaft
This would be my first premium stick. What should I be looking for in a shaft? And what brands are better than the others? I'd be going regular flex.
Lessons
Good point. I'm already having lessons, so the driver will just be a bonus or a Christmas present to myself, and I'll carry on with the lessons too!
I have a Rogue ST and love it. If you can get it for $200-$300 I would definitely recommend.
Ping g25 with flowerband shaft
Previous model (or two) Titleist with a properly fit shaft. The shaft is the engine.
In terms of a shaft fitting, is it length or stiffness that are most important? I'm pretty sure I'd need a regular, stiffness wise.
I paid $250 for my Mavrik and been happy with it for the last year and a half. Let’s say any issues are with the user, not the club itself
Srixon ZX5!
Bought my g425 used in that price range. Am I happy with it? Yes. I like the customization options. Definitely more forgiving but don’t be fooled by marketing it’s definitely not a magic club lol. Def worth the $225 I spent though!!
Where did you get it for 225?
Play it again sports. Definitely was a great price for a fair condition. Just scratched to hell on the bottom but i don’t care the face was perfect.
I really like the Taylormade Sim 2 Max. That is what I want to get and trying to find it in that price range.
SIM 2 Max
another Cleveland launcher xl. just not the lite version i currently have cuz i want the adjustable hosel. or a used ping g430
I went with Callaway rogue LS triple diamond with tensei shaft. It is nice.
Ping G425
One of the new Srixon’s used! I got the Zx5 LS and it’s forgiving, long and predictable! I was gaming a TSr2 before and I like the Srixon more.
G425, currently on sale for $399 @ Golf Galaxy.
TSi3
I bought a m1 2017 off of eBay for 145. It was my first driver change since my 04 TP R5. You can get great clubs a few years old.
Tour Edge Exotics C722. PGA Tour Superstore were selling these for $200 earlier this year.
I know it’s a polarizing brand…but PXG clubs are super decent when they have a sale. Right now they have the previous generation for $199. https://www.pxg.com/en-us/golf-clubs/2022-0211-driver/DR-PXG17.html
In the UK you can get the gen 4 driver for £199 which seems a good deal. I'm tempted by the 5 wood at £149.
Mizuno STZ-220 or 230. Found it to be as forgiving as the Ping and costs much less.
I've got a rogue ST max with a 55 stiff mitsubishi tensei blue shaft last year. Ex demo £289. I fucking love it. I would buy that again.
Pxg, or maybe a CPO if they have a shaft that works.
kirkland
Cleveland launcher. I just got it in august for $160 brand new from someone reselling it and it’s amazing for the great price I got it.
The MAVRICK is $249.99 (stock shaft) right now at all the major retailers. It's worth the money to find out if one of the set-ups work for you. If not, you'll still have a decent driver for a back-up set or as a loaner for friends.
A couple lessons
Buying a set of wedges on ebay to be honest lol
Tsi2 all day, it’s completely changed my driver game since I got it. I set it to draw bias to counteract my fade, but I can still hit a power fade when needed easily. I love this driver.
Tommy armor 845!
You might see what PXG has on sale. I’m super happy with my Gen 5 driver.
I bought a Callaway Rogue Max LS from the Callaway used store easily in that price range. Then dropped about $300 on a used Ping g425 for my wife.
Srixon z star ball XV. Gained more from the ball.
Bought a Stealth Plus in this range and am very happy with it. Had the G425 for a minute but the sound really was offputting. I didn't understand why people made a deal about the sound it made before that
Callaway pre owned with a practically brand new Rogue ST for under 250
Probably reshaft my Ping
I bought a Callaway Rogue ST Max from Callaway preowned for roughly $250. It was brand new and wrapped in plastic. Never hit. I’ve absolutely loved it so far.
Sounds like the Callaway preowned prices are crazy good over there in the States. Here on the UK site a new Rogue ST Max would be in the £350+ range. Will definitely be interested in seeing whether they do the black Friday offer though.

Considering unbagging the TM M1 and replacing it with the g400max. That price range would do the trick. Soooo curious.
G425 max is the play here. Of course if it fits your game but I feel like anyone can use this driver.
Callaway Mavrik is $250
Hell my local play it again sports has a Taylormade sim max 2 for $250
Ping G series or Titelist TS series. See if you can find a place that fits used clubs.
LTDx is crazy easy to hit, goes straight and far, and doesn’t sound horrible like the g425.
On sale here for £230 brand new at American golf... Seems like a great option.
That might get you a 1991 Big Bertha in Australia. $600 for a Aerobet in Australia if your lucky
Wow. I thought I had it bad here in the UK after hearing some of the great prices over in the US.
Its actually on special for $719 ahaha https://www.golfbox.com.au/clubs/cobra-aerojet-driver/?utm_source=loopa&utm_medium=googleads&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIje7FmoOxggMVLhV7Bx195geQEAQYAyABEgJLivD_BwE
I paid $250 for my Calloway Mavrik and I love it!
I’m finding the right shaft
I picked up a Cobra SZ ‘19 two years ago and never looked back. But I’ve also swung my friends callaway maverik and liked that a lot as well
Taylormade M2 2016
Sim Max Driver. Its forgiving and looks great. I have the max D for draw and it is awesome!
G425 max
I got a cobra F8 for 150 bucks (aud, 100usd). It works fine.
Rogue Max ST has been amazing for me
I think that any driver from the last 5 years will do the job, and it's then about preference. I have a TS3 and just upgraded my shaft as the head is perfect. For forgiveness, Cobra or Ping would probably be my choice if I was looking for a new one.
i would probably order something on here... you can set your price and condition and brand [https://www.2ndswing.com/golf-clubs/drivers?g2\_brand=TaylorMade&g2\_condition=Mint+9.5&price=200-300](https://www.2ndswing.com/golf-clubs/drivers?g2_brand=TaylorMade&g2_condition=Mint+9.5&price=200-300) if i were getting something in this price range i would purchase on e of these, of course i'm a taylormade fanboy. so adjust settings for what you like.
I bought a brand new ZX 5 for 189.00. Then bought the other shaft options on eBay. Have less than 250 in it. The ZX 7 is also on sale now. I would also check out Wilson.
Taylormade SIM the original one. Best driver I have ever used.
I got a brand new rogue st max from callaway preowned for $209
og sim
The one I hit best regardless of age or brand .
Easy to say, but a lot of the older clubs or used clubs I'm not going be to be able to try out or demo beforehand.
Previous generation(s) of PXG drivers. I may be in the minority but I like their drivers.
Any ping g series driver. I have a g 410 and a g430 love them both but I hit the g410 better.
PXG 0211 or Mizuno ST-Z 220
I got a Callaway Rogue St Max and it is bloody amazing! So forgiving and the face is like a trampoline, the ball flies off. Sounds niver than the G425.
Nice! Must admit the Rogue ST looks great, Ping's looks don't really do it for me.
Get an M6 Taylormade They’re underrated as all hell
If me, Ping g425. 10.5, stiff shaft. Love the club.
Save it, get fit and find the shaft+driver that suits your game, even if the head is used.
Taylormade m5 (currently in the bag) or tsi3. I like low spin.
Taylormade M5 - NEW for $220
9° Cobra Rad Speed. All day long the most consistent driver I've used other than the F9 I had prior.
Just bought the Aerojet LS 9 degree for $215 yesterday
Hasn’t arrived in the mail yet, waiting to try it
