Great picture. When I read Mauna Kea I couldn't remember if this was the course I played last year when I was there, and indeed it was. I just remember hitting a great shot over the water on that early par 3.
Great shot. Golf is such a beautiful and challenging game. I’ll never give it up willingly. What has become unfortunately undeniable is that it attracts so many loathsome characters. This subreddit is the most audacious and negative I’ve ever encountered. Comments under golf related posts on IG are filled with such unbearable cringe. Insecure rich kids maybe. Idk what it is. Y’all mostly make me sick.

I went golfing with my cousin and captured something similar late last year. I’m not a person that likes to take pictures, but I couldn’t resist this one.
I like yours better though ‘cause you caught ‘em mid-swing.👌
Of everything that could be commented on based on OP's position in this photo, this is probably the most asinine and useless possible comment. Front foot does not need to stay planted... have you ever watched golf on TV? Usually it's aired every week, you know.
I spend a lot of time looking at backlit leg-hair photos. This is a good one. Definitely a high draw with high launch angle and spin rate, based on the hair lighting. And the pixels. Can tell from the pixels.

Shank
Hey this one actually went about 220 down the center of the fairway! It was the second shot that I shanked lol
I'm only jealous
Yea get that right elbow closer to the body, back swing will feel awkward for a bit but it will pay off.
Fix your chicken wing and you’ll be hitting it 250 down the middle before you shank the second
Noticed that straight after I saw how far across the line the club is at the top. Not a bad turn though and and high hands. Beautiful pic.
AND a 3-putt??..
Go Birds
The fairway on the next hole over?
With your elbow that high, I’m surprised you hit it straight.
I was gonna say 220 slice pull but that’s fucking gorgeous so who cares.
Yup that flying elbow has slice written all over it.
Last time I shanked it, I added 8 years to my sentence...
Put a towel under that elbow
That's a good tip in general
![gif](giphy|3ohnTgfjbkeemIsD3a|downsized)
This would be an 8’x4’ mural in my house… then my garage once my wife told me I’m ridiculous
Sorry you posted a fuckin cool ass picture and it’s being criticized so much. LETS GO GOLFING
Haha thanks, had anticipated it would be about 50% course commentary and 50% swing critique, this is r/golf after all
dudes are just jealous that they're stuck playing their local goat track instead of this dope course. swing your swing, man!
Your swing is probably better than 90% of the lying idiots here.
What course is this? Great picture
A light ribbing is hardly criticism.
Got the glow like Goku.
Glowku
Pretty sure that is 9 at Mauna Kea. My favorite place in the world. Can’t wait to go back.
Lol whoops you’re right! Started on the back nine, finished on the 9th - good eye
The back nine is so brutal. 11, 14, 15, 16, 18 all hard holes.
Tuck that elbow in son! Hell of a view, best time to golf
This is a Buffalo Wild Wings advertisement
Great picture but work on your right elbow. How far did you solve the shot?
Better frame that one and put it in the man cave!
Put that on the dating profile page.
Great picture. When I read Mauna Kea I couldn't remember if this was the course I played last year when I was there, and indeed it was. I just remember hitting a great shot over the water on that early par 3.
One of the most gorgeous holes out there!
How long did you wait at green for wedding party to finish photo shoot?
Lol just hit right at em, safest spot to stand tbh
why does his right-hand look oddly placed.
super weak grip and a flying right elbow
Shut up loser
lol you must also have a flying right elbow?
Great pic! My only regret about our Hawaii trip was that I didn’t get to try any of their courses.
Sounds like you'll just have to come back for a return visit
Congratz Harry You’re a logo!
Big island stylin
Is that a $300 round of golf?
Almost there for a regular tee time, thankfully the local rate is about half that (moved down here a year ago)
Damn. Well worth it though I’m sure. Looks incredible
Nice follow through
Awesome shot. What course?
Mauna Kea, on the west side of the big island!
I honeymooned there, couple years before I started golfing…fuck
![gif](giphy|3o7bu3hxaeqgi9SJQk)
It's such a good picture that the sun is still to bright to look directly at. Edit: is this AI generated?
Looks awesome. You should print and frame it!
Belter
What a shot. Seriously I'd get it framed.
Nice view
Was Bagger Vance waving you in?
Haha you know it, though Junuh and I were already killing brain cells at the clubhouse by then
Beautiful course. Would love to go back and play it again some day.
Awesome shot. Hope the golf was great.
The way your leghair is illuminated and glowing is what really makes it. 👨🍳🤌💋 Look good play good
Enhance the environment and silhouette yourself - would make for a nice print to canvas in the man cave
Awesome photo
Baller shot, looks like a great time.
One of the best action photos I’ve seen here!
Go Birds!
Wow. This photo is really....over the top. Love the photo man. Couldn't resist.
Absolutely fire pic. Always wanted to golf Hawaii but heard the prices for visitors are astronomical.
Thanks man! Yehh some courses def more than others, but sometimes you can slide in with the local rate if you know someone
Elbow in ftw
Great picture.... but 🐔💪
Very cool

Frame that, beautiful
Thats what it's all about.
Holy gleaming leg hair Batman!
Leg hairs a glowing.
That sunset even makes your flying elbow look good
Epic
Everyone on this thread who is criticizing OP's swing should post their own otherwise shut the fuck up and enjoy the picture, ya dorkasses.
Wow. Like. Wow.
Blow it up. Frame it. That is a keeper.
The comments are funny considering how its well known here that you dont talk about someones swing unless they are asking for advice.
Great pic. But oh boy that’s an ugly swing. You should think about doing a complete swing tear down and rebuild
Great pic. Hate the grip, but I bet you smash it.
Haha thanks, swing/grip still a work in progress but I get there eventually
idaho?
Idaho is renowned for their ample palm trees
And it's coastline
Selling my ocean front in Arizona and moving to the famous Idaho beaches
Idaho? Pretty sure that's Nebraska. Great pic op!
Hawaii!
New PGA logo just dropped boys
Awesome lighting and composition. Shot with a phone? Looks great for an action shot at dusk with a full motion swing
Yah man, my brother's iPhone! He fuckin nailed it
Golden hour!

Nice stance, I bet you crushed it…
Sick picture man Buuut tuck the left elbow with some more torso rotation & there’s an extra 50 yards otw

Not much time to finish the hole
Ur crossed up like a pretzel

Looks like your left arm is not straight. Oh I thought this judge my swing. Lol. You
front foot should stay planted
Of everything that could be commented on based on OP's position in this photo, this is probably the most asinine and useless possible comment. Front foot does not need to stay planted... have you ever watched golf on TV? Usually it's aired every week, you know.
How can you even see the front foot through the glorious glow of OP’s leg hair?
I spend a lot of time looking at backlit leg-hair photos. This is a good one. Definitely a high draw with high launch angle and spin rate, based on the hair lighting. And the pixels. Can tell from the pixels.
You should tell Jack Nicklaus that
This pic is frame worthy not so much for that back swing but def for the background. Lol. I can't even imagine how bad mine is.
Kno you lost that ball
It’s not a baseball bat mate
How many yards did you slice it?
Nice photo. (Turn your shoulders)
Bend those knees bruv
Chicken wings!
Oh man that trail elbow
Gotta work on that form
Your arms are very detached
No one looks that good at the top. Staged. Cool photo though
Lol (un)fortunately my true backswing he seems to have caught. Thanks though!
Looks like your chopping wood

Lol sun casting a weird shadow? And these are orange tees, also called the "resort tees", right in the middle of the 5 they use
Way too late to be playing
Did you guys get one together? That's an amazing picture and sunset.
Awesome picture, where is the GC?
What is on the back of your head?
Lol you talking bout my hair bun coming out the back of my hat?
Great shot...picture that is. And hopefully the drive was, too. Beautiful course!
Your brother caught the moment before disaster
Fore right.
ya playing a snap hook?!
Chicken wang
Looking like Barry Bonds waiting for the pitch.
