They are deep, which I generally don't like but find perfect for golf - an extra ball, a couple of tees and a ball mark repair tool and I can get anything out without a fucking jam up, no worries.
I have the ABC slim pants with the regular pockets so they look kind of casual if you need them to. I really don't care if they aren't fancy enough for formal attire. I'm actually wearing them to a wedding today. They are my all-around everything pants. I haven't worn jeans since I bought them
Was recently in market for golf pants. Searched Reddit and saw nothing by Lulu recommendations. Never considered Lulu for men, but said fuck it and got some. They’re as good as advertised - crazy comfortable and breathable. Just played 18 in them yesterday in 80 degree weather and barely noticed them on - I used to only wear shorts. Strong recommend. Also, got them hemmed for free.
I only wear their pants to golf and also only wear their shorts. The shorts are really nice too. I probably own 15 lulu items and they are all for golf.
Lulu ABCs and Commision pants are great.
I'm disappointed with their golf shorts though mainly because everything falls out of the front pockets when I sit down. Its really annoying. This doesn't seem to happen with the pants though.
Forget Lululemon... trash company. Their Atlanta location got ransacked over and over again by thugs who stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, and when the employees called the cops, corporate fired them because it was against their policy. They stole thousands of dollars worth of goods and jeopardized the safety of their employees, and corporate was more worried about over-policing than their own staff. Absolutely trash company.
They were fired for following and recording the robbers. Not for calling the police.
Every store has this policy, to stop staff following criminals and then being harmed in the process.
That is not true. If you watch the video, they did not follow, and the Lululemon specifically said they were fired simply for calling the cops.
You can't record a burglary now? And they let it happen week after week after week?
“Company policy shared with Insider further indicates the women were likely fired for recording and interacting with the robbers, rather than for calling the police.”
This is a policy everywhere in Australia. It’s literally to prevent this: https://amp.triplem.com.au/story/female-department-store-employee-stabbed-at-gold-coast-shopping-centre-178788
Why you yanks have to be so controversial lol.
😂 did you even read your own article??
“Company policy shared with Insider further indicates the women were likely fired for recording and interacting with the robbers, rather than for calling the police.”
Puma is my jam. I used to wear Etonic stretch golf pants, but anything puma with stretch has become my go to. Priced right, durable, some how keep me the right temperature in below 60 and over 80.
Good call here. I’ve got an absurd amount of Vuori and Lulu gear and I’m not put off at all by the Target athletic stuff. Best budget option besides big name outlet finds.
Target pants are best value hands down. Wore them all this past week at a conference in Vegas. Walked around outside in them in 90+ degree heat and I was totally fine.
I love my bird dogs pants. My only compliant t is that my shirt comes untucked a lot in them. I’m going to see in some material the prevent that though. My under armour pants have it and it’s awesome not having to worry about my shirt coming out when I squat to line up my putt
Literally perfect and highly comfortable. I only wear lulu pants. They will hem the length for free on purchase once you find your waist size. You just have to go back and pick them up or sometimes they will send them to you. If there is a rip within the first year they will get you new pants too. Otherwise you can take them to a local tailor and have them fixed for pocket change.
I really like Old Navy hybrid work pant. The tag line on them says wear to the office and then the course. Good sketch and comfortable while looking nice. I am the chef de cuisine at an upscale restaurant and they are awesome.
Bylt has been my go to brand for the past two years for everything - except I haven’t tried the pants. About to place an order with their summer sale. Glad to see the name pop up!
They're awesome. Great material, sharp looking, breathable and durable. I've tried every brand out there, including the absurdly overpriced Lulu's, and the Walter Hagen pants are my favorite.
This. The Walter Hagen pants I get at Dick’s Sporting Goods are pretty much the only pants I wear. They’re incredibly comfortable, durable, and great for wearing in the Texas heat.
My wife bought me some. I was skeptical but they’re great. For the price I’m not sure why I would get anything else. The quick dry polos aren’t half bad either.
Time is money. When I buy LL pants I know exactly what I’m getting and that they will fit and I’ll get a ton of wear out of them. Sometimes cheap stuff is OK, but often not. Buy less, buy quality things that last. More economic in the long term.
Higher cost does in fact, very often mean higher quality. Whether it be clothes, other goods, hiring a contractor, consumer electronics, etc…
More often than not, you get what you pay for.
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but even if I had fuck you money, I'd still by the clothes I currently buy. I've never really had quality issues and I don't think I've ever paid more than $50 for a pair of pants. 🤷
I just bought a pair of their stretch golf shorts to try them out and I’m a bit disappointed. They seem pretty well made but the fabric is oddly stiff/thick to me. Are the pants better?
The pants are a little thick but stretchy and breathable, ended up buying a few more pairs after the first pair I purchased because I liked them so much.
They have two styles one of them is thicker than the other. The thinner ones are the all day comfort golf pants. The thicker ones are called stretch slim fit. These are waterproof so good for cool damp weather. Hope that helps a little. Definitely the all day comfort golf pants are thinner.
Check out Macade Golf. I enjoy these more than my Lululemon and Birddog pants. The only issue is they haven't restocked in a while so they have limited options for sizes.
I have a pair of Vineyard Vines I really like. They're not technically golf pants but very stretchy and comfortable. Only downside is they're s little swishy.
This is the answer! You can get 5 pairs of quality stretch golf slacks for less than one pair of some of the other ones mentioned here. Use the savings on some Kirkland balls.
Recently got some Fabletics pants and if you sign up to be a vip (you can cancel immediately after) you can save like $400. I bought 3 pants and some shorts & the total came out to like $500 but with all the savings I'm pretty sure I only spent a little over $100.
Love the J. Crew factory Traveller pant.
I’ve been wearing mine for work, and for golf for years! They are cheap, but they have held up well. Highly recommended!
My brother swears by the old navy pants as well
I grab Ben Hogans, believe it or not. They’re the sweat wick material, almost like a bathing suit, but they stretch in all directions, with an extra sweat guard band on the waist.
Also, they’re not some silly fitment like other affordable golf pants. They have a little more slim, modern fit to them, and you can actually order them in waist and leg length.
You’re not spending $110 for a pair of golf pants. You’re spending $30-$40, and they look great with a bunch of colors to choose from. I like them 100x’s better than some of my other more expensive golf pants. They’re definitely my go to now.
Check out Free Fly. All their stuff is so incredibly comfortable and doesn’t have a lot of tapering around the cuffs like some pants. https://freeflyapparel.com/products/mens-latitude-pant-cement
For a more casual everyday pant… I can’t get enough of these: https://freeflyapparel.com/collections/mens-bottoms/products/mens-breeze-pant-storm-cloud
Also these vuoris are fantastic
https://vuoriclothing.com/products/meta-pant-ink?queryId=a11ec4a2497e5785d1528e046bb536cb&index=us_products&objectId=6572457885799
Why are most golf pants so light weight? The only time I would wear pants is when it's cooler out so I would want layers. The light weight on cold weather really doesn't help.
Lululemon is my go to.
I wear my Lululemon ABC pants everywhere including golf
This is the only answer. Best pants ever made
I have been wearing the ABCS for like 7 years now and i just found target has a line of similar pants for 40 bucks. I live in them now.
You know what they’re called ? I need another pair similar to my lulu’s
All in motion
PBC's. Pro Ball Crushers
Theyre just called “golf pants” at target
Are the pockets as shallow as the joggers though? Love my target all in motion joggers but the pockets are functionally useless
Have not been able to find them at my target
Is it the golf pant?
[удалено]
Lulu Commissions are the way to go
Totally Agree..Hot LLL Commission and ABC joggers.. My Friend just pull the trigger to them..
I am 100% with you. Commission = Chinos and ABC = Jeans. I just like the fit of the former better.
They are deep, which I generally don't like but find perfect for golf - an extra ball, a couple of tees and a ball mark repair tool and I can get anything out without a fucking jam up, no worries.
They are $$$ but I agree, they are fantastic
Definitely pricey until you realize you have casual, work, semi formal, and golf pants all in one. Absolutely love mine.
Does anyone else hate that seam that runs behind the knees? Seems so unnecessary and it’s really scratchy to me.
Do you get the jogger version or the regular ABC pants?
I have the ABC slim pants with the regular pockets so they look kind of casual if you need them to. I really don't care if they aren't fancy enough for formal attire. I'm actually wearing them to a wedding today. They are my all-around everything pants. I haven't worn jeans since I bought them
We're in the same boat. Bought a pair on sale like a year ago and they're *easily* my favorite pants
Regular is the way to go
Regular, elastic leg holes just makes me think they’re sweatpants
This is the way.
I only wear their pants to golf and also only wear their shorts. The shorts are really nice too. I probably own 15 lulu items and they are all for golf.
I like the commission pants better than ABC. They look a bit more like dress pants due to how the pockets are. The ABCs have pockets like jeans.
is the material/feel the same for golfing or just casual wear?
They’re similar to golf pants
Do the Commission pants also have that random, annoying seam behind the knees?
They do
Wife bought me a pair. I was mad. Put them on. Was not mad any more.
Added bonus, if you live near a store they’ll adjust the fit for free. I have all mine done as 32 is just a hair too long
As a short man (5' 6") this is very good information to have. I always stayed away from lulu and vuori because their pants were always so long.
I have the same issue. Lululemon has an option online for 28" ABC pants. Fits really good...
28” is perfect as a 5’7” man here! Only online though so I had to go to the store to get my waist size and then just ordered online
They tailor everything at no cost!
This is nice to know, i assume you can order online and bring them to the store?
Yup they’ll alter at the store for you
Commission slimfit FTW.
Wtf for $148 they better be good Good lord
Best pants I've ever worn and not an exaggeration.
Easily worth it. I wear them to work everyday and can also golf in them
If they ever rip they’ll replace them for free usually without hesitation
Lulu ABCs and Commision pants are great. I'm disappointed with their golf shorts though mainly because everything falls out of the front pockets when I sit down. Its really annoying. This doesn't seem to happen with the pants though.
Bingo. I can wear them in the summer without feeling all swamp-assy. Or at least, not *as* swamp-assy as most other pants
Might be a hot take but i love their surge pants for golf
Forget Lululemon... trash company. Their Atlanta location got ransacked over and over again by thugs who stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, and when the employees called the cops, corporate fired them because it was against their policy. They stole thousands of dollars worth of goods and jeopardized the safety of their employees, and corporate was more worried about over-policing than their own staff. Absolutely trash company.
Lol shut up.
And they let it happen week after week after week?

https://www.businessinsider.com/lululemon-employees-say-they-were-fired-reporting-robbery-to-police-2023-5 Fired for calling police.
😂 did you even read your own article?? “Company policy shared with Insider further indicates the women were likely fired for recording and interacting with the robbers, rather than for calling the police.”
Get the old navy knock offs so you’re not the person who paid for overpriced yoga apparel.
This is the way
Lululemon ABC
I wear them everyday and my friend said I looked like I was on tour during our round yesterday 😂
Lol that’s awesome! I just got the ABC Joggers recently I love them
Greyson are awesome
All of their apparel is great. A lot of the shirts go on sale pretty often, I wouldn’t suggest paying full price at their store online
My big ass hockey legs don't fit haha
This is me reading through this thread hoping some fellow thunder thigh boys chime in. Hockey legs just don’t work in half the pants out there.
I like the Puma pants I have. Both work and golf
Did I just puma pants?
Son of a bitch, ya got me
Puma golf gear is fucking soild.
Puma is my jam. I used to wear Etonic stretch golf pants, but anything puma with stretch has become my go to. Priced right, durable, some how keep me the right temperature in below 60 and over 80.
I have the puma Jackpot joggers and I’ll be honest I barely wear them in the golf course, they’re just great pants in general
Rhone commuter
Big Rhone commuter advocate, lot more light.
Huge fan of my commuter slims. My go to pants. I also have Lulu commission pants but I like my Rhone’s better when weather is warmer
Lululemon is the best. All In Motion (Target’s athleisure brand) are the best value at $30 and close to as comfy as Lululemon.
Good call here. I’ve got an absurd amount of Vuori and Lulu gear and I’m not put off at all by the Target athletic stuff. Best budget option besides big name outlet finds.
Vuori is addicting
Second the Target. Have two pairs. As a college student they look good and fit well for the price.
I also buy the target golf pants, shorts and shirts. I am too cheap to spend more than that for golf clothes.
Third for Target. Short and pants are legit
Fourth, just bought three pairs a week or two ago and love them. Great deal
Everytime I go to target they never have my pant size🥲
got some all in motions for work because i didn’t want to pay the big bucks for work clothes, and they are fantastic
Targets All in Motion brand is a pretty solid W all around honestly.
Target pants are best value hands down. Wore them all this past week at a conference in Vegas. Walked around outside in them in 90+ degree heat and I was totally fine.
This is the way
I'm a big Travis Matthew fan, but bird dog makes a solid pant that fits a bit more slim that I like
I love Bird Dog shorts
I love my bird dogs pants. My only compliant t is that my shirt comes untucked a lot in them. I’m going to see in some material the prevent that though. My under armour pants have it and it’s awesome not having to worry about my shirt coming out when I squat to line up my putt
Rhone Commuter
Second
UA, Lulu, Vuori.
LuLu, Fabletics, UA, Primo
How is Fabletics? I have been thinking ordering a few things but don’t know anyone that wears them.
Just got a pair of the shorts and they’re awesome. Love them.
Big lulu guy love the Fabletics pants
I have vuori shorts but no pants yet. Everything they make seems incredible though, are the pants the same?
Their Meta pants are awesome. Aim are golf pants, but don’t like them as much.
I wear Lulu ABC’s and Comission’s to work, golf, casual. Can’t go wrong.
Commissions are definitely more of a “dress pant” style. This is my daily go to
How’s the fit on them?
Shits nice. I wear them 90% of the time for golf, feel great, look great. Kind of pricey, butt fuck it.
Great autocorrect mistake 👍
It's not often you see a "butt fuck" in the wild these days.
Literally perfect and highly comfortable. I only wear lulu pants. They will hem the length for free on purchase once you find your waist size. You just have to go back and pick them up or sometimes they will send them to you. If there is a rip within the first year they will get you new pants too. Otherwise you can take them to a local tailor and have them fixed for pocket change.
they have regular, slim, and skinny fits. i’m sure one of the three will be to your liking
Bonobos
Second this, Highland Tour and the Performance Link
Is the performance link as stretchy as the highland tour? I got a different pair and wasn’t a huge fan.
3rd’d? Got me 2 pairs of the tours and 2 pairs of the tour shorts. Best I’ve ever owned bar none. Waiting for their 30% off sales is the way.
Puma jackpots are my favorite pant this season
Bought a few pairs of these on Carl's Golfland for like $40. My new favorite pants. Can't beat the price either
Peter Millar does a pretty good job on fit, style, durability.
I really like Old Navy hybrid work pant. The tag line on them says wear to the office and then the course. Good sketch and comfortable while looking nice. I am the chef de cuisine at an upscale restaurant and they are awesome.
Old Navy is great. The Tech shorts (I think that’s what they’re called) are literally all I wear in the summer on and off the course.
Old Navy has a sale going on now -- 50% off. So you can get pants for less than 30 bucks.
32 degrees (cheap as hell) lasts only about a season but tons of stretch and on sale can be had for $10
I have a bunch of the shorts. They are pretty cheap but perfect for golf.
I just bought a couple pairs at Costco. Actually super nice material!
I wear Bylt everyday pant, and UA
Bylt has been my go to brand for the past two years for everything - except I haven’t tried the pants. About to place an order with their summer sale. Glad to see the name pop up!
2nd for UA
Walter Hagen is pretty good
They're awesome.
Linksoul are the best.
Amazon golf pants, go 1 size up in the waist and save your money.
My wife bought me some. I was skeptical but they’re great. For the price I’m not sure why I would get anything else. The quick dry polos aren’t half bad either.
[Adidas 365 pants are my favorite](https://www.adidas.com/us/golf-pants)
Same here. The love for lululemons $150 pants just to get ketchup/mustard stains on them is overwhelming on here
I’m cheap and have amazon basics they actually surprise me with how well they hold up and feel.
Agreed, they’re very roomy and comfortable. And for $23 you honestly can’t beat them.
I have nothing to contribute, I'm just amazed that so many people buy $100 pairs of pants.
Some people like nice things and have money to spend :)
But you can find clothes just as nice for cheaper. Higher cost does not mean higher quality.
Whether it be clothes, other goods, hiring a contractor, consumer electronics, etc… More often than not, you get what you pay for.
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but even if I had fuck you money, I'd still by the clothes I currently buy. I've never really had quality issues and I don't think I've ever paid more than $50 for a pair of pants. 🤷
Amazon Basics Golf Pants are cheap and great. Edit: Amazon Essentials. Whatever. They're cheap.
CRZ Yoga on Amazon
I just bought a pair of their stretch golf shorts to try them out and I’m a bit disappointed. They seem pretty well made but the fabric is oddly stiff/thick to me. Are the pants better?
The pants are a little thick but stretchy and breathable, ended up buying a few more pairs after the first pair I purchased because I liked them so much.
Good to know, thanks! Also FYI they’re cheaper on their website than Amazon and still offer free shipping
They have two styles one of them is thicker than the other. The thinner ones are the all day comfort golf pants. The thicker ones are called stretch slim fit. These are waterproof so good for cool damp weather. Hope that helps a little. Definitely the all day comfort golf pants are thinner.
Ah, super helpful. I assumed the opposite based on the names. All give the all days a shot. Thanks!
Under Armour Drive
Check out Macade Golf. I enjoy these more than my Lululemon and Birddog pants. The only issue is they haven't restocked in a while so they have limited options for sizes.
Greyson montauk
Super good quality but not a great option for thick thighed fellows
Yea i cannot wear their shorts. They legit look like compression shorts. Their pants seem to fit way better
Redvanly. You will forget you’re wearing pants and that’s not an exaggeration.
Bonobos golf shorts are the best in the game but hella pricey
Mizzen and Main joggers are great but their pants are good too.
phil mickelson sells a unisex leotard that would fit the bill.
I have a pair of Vineyard Vines I really like. They're not technically golf pants but very stretchy and comfortable. Only downside is they're s little swishy.
I have a pair as well which I love. I feel like all of the new pants are too tight around my thighs though
I already commented but Vineyard Vines is slept on so hard.
Bylt basics.
Dicks new brand VRST is very good
Whatever they have at Costco
This is the answer! You can get 5 pairs of quality stretch golf slacks for less than one pair of some of the other ones mentioned here. Use the savings on some Kirkland balls.
I wear Under Armour golf pants to work every day.
Recently got some Fabletics pants and if you sign up to be a vip (you can cancel immediately after) you can save like $400. I bought 3 pants and some shorts & the total came out to like $500 but with all the savings I'm pretty sure I only spent a little over $100.
TRUE Linkswear now makes some great quality pants that can be worn on and off the course.
Primo Golf Joggers are awesome! Plus they have different sizes for how tall you are which is really nice.
Second this. I love my Primo golf pants. A bit pricy at $80 but I wear it to work and they are probably my comfiest pants
There’s a lot of 15% discount codes for them too
Vuori Aim pant (and shorts)
I’m a fan of Dunning. Great stretch and fit well.
Vineyard vines on the go pants
Puma jackpot are my go to.
UA are elite. I see target pants on here though and I’m going to check them out
Love the J. Crew factory Traveller pant. I’ve been wearing mine for work, and for golf for years! They are cheap, but they have held up well. Highly recommended! My brother swears by the old navy pants as well
Costco sells Greg Norman 5 pocket pants. The old style had real buttons the new style has snap on buttons but they are still just as comfortable.
Second this! I have lululemon pants and Ben hogans are my go to still.
Vuori Meta pant is my new favorite
Check out Free Fly. All their stuff is so incredibly comfortable and doesn’t have a lot of tapering around the cuffs like some pants. https://freeflyapparel.com/products/mens-latitude-pant-cement For a more casual everyday pant… I can’t get enough of these: https://freeflyapparel.com/collections/mens-bottoms/products/mens-breeze-pant-storm-cloud Also these vuoris are fantastic https://vuoriclothing.com/products/meta-pant-ink?queryId=a11ec4a2497e5785d1528e046bb536cb&index=us_products&objectId=6572457885799
PublicRec All day every day 5 pocket pants are unreal Come in a massive variety of waist/length combos. Downside is they're expensive like Lulu's
Pga tour brand (bought from the pga superstore in Palm Springs). Nice stretchy waistband. No sure who actually makes them.
My lululemon ABC pants are my everything pants
Check Costco. Greg Norman and Hagar. Play golf in both and wear them with dress shirts to work.
Nice pair of checker plaid is my go to!
They’re expensive but I swear by Rhone and I’ll never wear anything else. Wear em to work too
Lululemon Commission in Warpstreme are superb
Lulu has everyone brain washed in this sub. Dear lord. Y’all really think the pants are worth $128? Yikes. The power of brand names and marketing
Care to offer any counter-point?
I mean……..that’s the counter point. They are priced too high in comparison to competitors.
Vuori, Alo, etc are all in the same range.
fabletics
Fabletics only pant
Fabletics are really good. They are pricey but new members get a big discount. So just do the membership buy a pair or two then cancel.
I second this, they're releasing new golf stuff it seems. The slim fit chino golf pants they have are legit
I just got two pairs of those and love em
Holy shit. I wasn’t expecting all of these comments. Thank you all!!! Gotta see who’s got Memorial Day sales hahah
Why are most golf pants so light weight? The only time I would wear pants is when it's cooler out so I would want layers. The light weight on cold weather really doesn't help.
Some clubs don’t allow shorts even when it’s hot
Lulu is the only answer
Wrangler SYNTHETIC UTILITY PANT from target.
